The food is awesome, especially their veggie fried rice. Be sure to say vegan, or they'll make it w/ egg.The service is fast, courteous & efficient. The ambience is very chill. They have silent tv's showing various Asian dishes. If you want to be cancer FREE, Fresh Bowl is where you want to be. In fact, eat there several times a week!! B/c they have the best fried rice on the planet !! You get broccoli, eggplant, carrots, peas, other vegetables & ""more"" !!! All those veggies will keep u from getting cancer BIG time.

During my return visit, I was eager to sample the Bun Bo Hue, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. The pork spring rolls, a familiar favorite from my previous dining experience, maintained their exceptional quality - just as delicious as I remembered. However, the Bun Bo Hue presented some disappointments. The broth lacked the robust, complex flavor profile I've come to expect from my preferred Vietnamese restaurant. Its depth seemed muted, failing to deliver the rich, layered taste that typically characterizes an outstanding version of this dish. The additional order of pork foot further underwhelmed me. Served lukewarm, with a center temperature that suggested inadequate heating, it detracted from the overall dining experience. Moreover, while the broth was initially served hot, it rapidly cooled, diminishing its flavor and appeal. By the time I was midway through the meal, the temperature had dropped significantly, rendering the soup less appetizing and robbing it of its potential culinary impact.

Love this local Vietnamese joint! The food I've had before from the banh mi to the pho to the rice have all been solid. The most recent time I came, I ordered the rice with pork (only $12.50!) and the pork was super flavorful. Would recommend. They give you water bottles for water, and the crunchy roll ordered as an appetizer came out super fast. You go up to the register to pay after you're done with your meal. There is a good amount of seating inside and the atmosphere is nice. Plenty of parking in the lot as the restaurant is its own building.

First time trying the new spot out, but came to their former spot solely for the BBH. I can confirm Fresh bowl did not change the BBH and it is still one of the best in town. I ordered to go and built it at home and they gave me plenty of food. They pack the to-go perfectly as well with no issues. I also tried their lemon pepper wings. They were nice in size, good breading, and fresh seasoning. Will get these again. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee to go. Asked for no ice so I could have it the next morning and it wouldn't be watered down. Been here 3x now all to go. Will try a sitdown soon and report back. It does look nice inside though, a nice upgrade from the former spot.

Finally came back and tried the ube coffee! And I am a big fan. First of all, it's so pretty! And second, the ube flavor is so prevalent and so delicious. Especially when you mix it in with the sweet coffee. I ordered the banh mi again, and while it was still good, it might have been an off day or if the first time I went they were having a good day, because the bread was a lot harder and crumbier this time around. And a lot of the meat pieces I had, had harder tendon like bites in them.

There are many Pho places to choose from in Austin, but Fresh bowl is one of my favorites because their meat just tastes better. I usually get Pho with rare steak on the side so it doesn't overcook by the time I eat it.The service here is really top notch, the interior is really clean and inviting and it's always been a great eating experience. Both the Pho and the Bun bo hue are flavorful and tastes very good.If you order the combo steam rice, it comes with pork skin and egg cake which a lot of other restaraunts don't include. My only nitpick is them giving away bottle of water for every meal. It just seems very wasteful use of plastic. Perhaps use filtered water instead?

Super fast service and friendly service, my boyfriend's pho came out in less than 5 minutes after ordering and my vermicelli came out in about 10 minutes. This was probably the best pho I've ever had, everything about it was so delicious and flavorful. My chicken vermicelli was also very tasty, I feel like the portions are large for what you pay. We tried three drinks, my favorite being the strawberry Vietnamese coffee. The strawberry foam was so sweet and good! The Thai tea and the ube coffee was also very good.

Good service, loved that they played Vietnam street food videos at the restaurant. Everything came out pretty quickly! We ordered the fish sauce wings, crawfish fried rice, pho ap chao, and eggrolls. Everything was good. But just good. Nothing really had us in awe, personally. There was another family there that really enjoyed the food and loved it! But I'm Vietnamese and I felt like the food was lacking a little bit of flavor. The fried rice could've been more seasoned or maybe more sauce with it? The fish sauce wings weren't stinky enough and when tasting only the aroma of fish sauce was there. Eggrolls weren't stinky enough nice and crispy, you can't really go wrong with that. The pho ap chao had really crispy pieces of noodles which I enjoyed and the stir fry was decently seasoned. It just felt like everything was missing something!

Went here yesterday during their lunch rush and ordered the bun bo hue and it tasted nothing like it did a year ago. Pretty disappointed to say the least. The broth was lacking so much flavor and no matter how much lime or sate I added, it was so bland. Definitely is not the best bun bo hue in austin anymore. I really love the house combination banh mi so far that has been consistently tasty.

Decent bun bo hue-- I got it delivered. It was nice because the raw meat was packaged separately from the noodles and the banh mi vegetables were packed separately. Friend said bread was nice and soft instead of crunchy/hard. Bread tasted fresh
