I wanted some cheap breakfast tacos and found this food truck place near me. $5 for two is a steal. I got the bacon and egg and potato and egg. It came with a green sauce. They were nice and fast. They both were really good! The only thing I felt I had to add was a little salt and pepper but the tortillas were delicious. Overall great deal I want to come back and try the regular tacos! The green sauce has the perfect kick to it.

Wow wow wow! I ordered bacon and egg breakfast tacos and was so glad - they were tasty and only $5 for 2! The salsas really added a great flavor - both the verde and roja had a kick but the roja was definitely packing more heat! The breakfast tacos were so good I went back and got the chicken tinga tacos. These were even better! The chicken was so tender and moist and the toppings were fresh. I wish I could eat these everyday. Especially since the food was so affordable. I also tried the chicken tinga burrito and it was just as good and came with rice, beans, and a salad. The ladies working were also super kind! Very helpful and pleasant. Much love to the crew - amazing food and service! Hope this place is open for years and years to come!

Wow. This place lives up to the hype.Super fresh food with so much flavor.I got the 2 vegetarian tacos for $5, which was a deal. The vegetarian tacos were pretty good, both of them tasted very similar. I definitely liked the corn tortillas more than the flour. The salsa as green sauce are spicy! Overall great prices for authentic delicious food.

I'm offended that it took Yelp this long to show me the way to Flavia and her Kitchen. Just kinda perfect in every way. Tried a sampling of tacos by way of their 2 taco special for $5. Each was delectable, effortless in its own way. My favorites were the standout Carnitas, juicy and savory, followed closely by the Chicken Tinga. I really appreciate the handmade tortillas, they were probably the best I've had in ATX, and the salsas included were fantastic as well. I really liked the green salsa -- it had a really good depth of flavor. Excited to try much more!

Came back for lunch this time and loved it also. Taking this place to five star and putting it on my best tacos in Austin list.Flour tortillas might be the best in town. Crisped up a bit. Perfect thickness and flavor. Really good.$5 for two, either for breakfast or lunch. Beef fajita and Tinga (spicy chicken) today. Fajita was a little tough, but that's the nature of that cut. Tasty. The chicken is the winner. Moist. Full of flavor. Will be back to try more.

The excellent handmade tortillas are such a draw. "What do you recommend,"I always ask when I show up at a Mexican food truck. Sometimes I get a "whatever" look and sometimes they ask me questions, like they did at Flavia's. How spicy do I like it? Have I tried aporreado? I'm a Mexico City girl, born and raised, and I'd never heard of aporreado, which apparently consists of meat beaten with a stone, salted, shredded, stirred with egg and cooked in guajillo chili, árbol chili or serrano chili sauce, with garlic and cilantro. Yum. Short on time and only wanting a snack, I tried the tinga de pollo and it was sensational. This is a woman-owned business by serious Mexican cooks. Kind ones, too.

Just a few quick words...1.) fresh chips. Not like heated up from the bag but like hot fresh tortillas cut and fried right before you eat.2.) fresh tortillas. Again, nothing pre made here, it's all homemade cooked to order tortillas.3.) the Tex-mex quesadilla was bomb.com *sorry no pic but I hope you visit here soon

We used Flavia's catering for a party of 40. Everyone loved it! The aquas frescas were a huge hit (especially with tequila or vodka in them)! The service was great. I will use her again!

The lady who took our order was so friendly and nice, answered our questions without hesitation. We got 2 for $5, one al pastor and one barbacoa. They were both good but the pastor was better. My mom got tinga and carnitas. She liked both. the tables were clean despite only one person taking orders and making the food. Would recommend this place.
