Fitties BBQ

Tried out their breakfast tacos on a whim, and they were delicious! The Jailhouse was tasty, as well as the brisket/bacon/egg with some bbq sauce. Unassuming place but the signage helps you find the drive thru ordering area. Road is a bit bumpy.Planning to try more items in the future!

We ordered two brisket tacos. Super dry brisket loaded with tons of bbq sauce to hide it. Soaked in grease. My wife threw hers away. Honestly it was like they buy a tray of Jack Daniel's brisket from Sam's and serve it for breakfast. I've smoked low and slow for over 20 years, and this ain't it. Don't fool your community. What a waste of money. Overrated.

A trailer off the side of the road: it wasn't clear if we could park and sit anywhere so we just went through the drive thru which was so quick! The Marty taco was so good!

Great guy working hard and doing what he loves. He was accommodating even after he had to move his business and served me and my mom well. Great people and amazing food. Gotta check it out! Even let my dogs hangout with no fuss. Loved this place

Just moved to Bastrop and a few people randomly recommended Fitties when I asked about good BBQ places to eat in town. It did not disappoint!! Brisket was on point and flavorful! Beans and potato salad were great sides and now I can't wait to try the breakfast tacos! I'm definitely returning to Fitties with a smile!

Ambiance was disturbing ,service was bad the food wasn't food. Also the owners need to fix the driveway Jesus Christ.

Best bbq ever. Right by the highway, amazing food, great rustic seating in the barn / yard.

Stopped here on our way home. Tried the 3 item combo. We got the brisket, pork sausage, and rib. We added on a chicken plate. Everything was really delicious and the prices are great. I am someone who is not found of potato salad but this one was really good!

I bought brisket and it was like rubber. I took a bite and couldn't bite thru it. I took a video of this meat. I was so disgusted with it. The sample he gave me at the window was good so he convinced me to buy some. Turned out it was trash. I won't ever go back again! I'm going to look do the video. By the time I got home which was over 30 min it was too late to go back in traffic. The guy was nice but not enough to go back.

Staying in Smithville for a week. Trying out BBQ joints in the area while we were there. It's definitely worth the drive to Fitties for takeout. Everything we ordered was spot on and delicious. Best we had in the area. No dining room, but a few picnic tables outside in the shade. Call ahead and pick up your order at the drive through window. When we are back in the area, there's only one place for BBQ, that's FITTIE's!!
