Made from scratch pasta and entrees? Say no more! The dishes were so tasty, full of flavor, and generous portions! My husband got the rigatoni which was rich in flavor, pasta cooked just right, and so filling!I got the half chicken and it literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Not to mention, the polenta was SO rich and cheesy. As if the food weren't enough reason to visit, the service is impeccable. They are friendly and welcoming from the minute you walk through the door to the moment you get up. Our server was on point with recommendations, super helpful, and went above and beyond the entire time we were there. As for the ambiance, it's a romantic and intimate setting. We sat inside where they did a great job designing the place with a mix of modern and garden vibes. Definitely recommend checking out Fig! We will be coming back!

Ambiance: 5/5Service: 5/5Food & Cocktails: 4/5Parking: 5/5Value: 4/5We went here for Valentines dinner with a limited three-course menu. The appetizers were superb; beef tartare was unbelievably delicious. Entrees leaned towards classic flavors for both ravioli and duck. Unfortunately, the cook on my duck breast was tough, and a bit overdone. The ravioli was unmemorable for me, but tasty and perfectly cooked. The desserts shined. Both Panna cotta and pistachio cake were short-lived refreshing experiences on the palate! Overall, I would recommend to try if you haven't been. Personally, I will continue to explore other Italian restaurants before I come back to Fig.

Garage parking in the back. Service was outstanding. Ambiance is perfect for a date night, a larger party, a celebration. Happy hour is throughout the whole restaurant not just the bar from 5-6. Stand out dishes from happy hour menu were the crispy potatoes. They stayed crispy and the herbs on top were so good. The mussels with the grilled focaccia, the mussel shells were small but they actually had a decent amount of meat for mussels. Bread was on point. The truffle butter with the brioche rolls was great and the bread was perfect for absorbing sauces. I'm not a mushroom fan but the arancini were my groups favorite app, It had a great presentation. All of their pastas are made in house. I love seafood so I went with the bucatini pasta. My table guests enjoyed it over their pappardelle pasta The bucatini was light and creamy and not overly filling. He said the pappardelle pasta was a little thick compared to other pappardelle pasta but did love the sauce it had with pasta We decided to end dessert with all 3 on the menu. My personal favorite was the brioche roll and coffee gelato. Great flavor, bread was not heavy but fluffy Then the passion fruit and chocolate. Tjid was cold dish and very rich but that didn't stop us from finishing itThe earl gray pear panna cotta had hints of the tea. Was not over powering and with chunks of pear. They also do 1/2 bottles of wine on Tues.

My husband's birthday is usually a days-long celebration because he's a foodie and can't make up his mind on selecting one place. This was the third and final grand dinner for his special weekend. We made it early enough to start off with a couple of items from the happy hour menu, and then ordered other items from the regular menu. The old fashioned was really well prepared. I was impressed because it's hard to get a quality cocktail in Austin. I also tried their espresso martini and that was nice too. We started with the little gem salad, crispy potatoes and arancini. The flavors were delicious, the style of preparation uses (too) generous an amount of cream in each dish so the food is rich and heavy, but it's delicious. The crispy potatoes was the one dish we would skip - they were too thin, crispy and oily. For our entrees, we got the rigatoni with sausage and the vegetarian preparation of the Campanelle. I enjoyed the use of seasonal root vegetables such as beets and turnips in my pasta. I had to take most of it home for another meal because I was already quite full on the appetizers. What absolutely blew me away was our excellent service by Ana? I wish I had written down her name. She was sweet and helpful, attentive but not overbearing, warm and friendly but not too chatty - truly the epitome of excellent service! They have free retail parking in the back of the restaurant building so that's convenient too.

On the corner of the 704 with patio views to the historic Broken Spoke - this Italian (with European influence) restaurant has been open for about a year. It has a contemporary interior with very dark walls and furnishings. Services was professional, courteous but a little irregular on speed (both prompt and yet a little slow too). Food was very good though. - Margherita pizza was tasty. The crust was reminiscent of the flavor of a Neapolitan style but yet had a thicker crust for more chew. - Octopus - so tender and soft in a nicely complimenting sauce that didn't overwhelm the delicate octopus- Bucatini - delicious dish with clam broth, mussels, shrimp and clams. The clams were really good and the shrimp perfectly cooked. - Beef Dino rib - falling off the bone and so tender with immense flavor. Chanterelle mushrooms compliment. This one is very good and one to share with a group given how rich it is.Drinks were made well and very stiff.

Quickly becoming a fave location. Happy hour is value, full size wine pours, apps and pastas. At the bar service was great. The Caesar like before was crunchy, dressing zesty and creamy. Cacio e Pepe noodles had bite and stretch, good coating of cheese and a perfectly spicy black pepper that was undercover but identifiable. Was recommended the panna cotta dessert with an elegant pour of a sparkling rose. This was the perfect hh and solo dining experience that I plan on spending my Christmas Eve with this team.

My family and I returned to Fig Italian Kitchen to celebrate my birthday for dinner and it didn't disappoint. My husband made a same day reservation in advance. We drove into the parking lot, parked, walked to the restaurant, entered and were seated quickly by the host. After being seated in a booth we were quickly greeted by a great waiter that took care of us the entire time. He asked what we wanted to drink we all asked for water. He handed us some menus and went to get our glasses. When he got back he poured our water and then placed our order. I ordered a mocktail called the Crimson Spark which had ginger beer, orange, and cranberry. It was flavorful and a delight to drink. For starters my family and I shared some House Brioche Rolls with truffle butter. The rolls were warm and fluffy. The truffle butter was a yummy addition to the rolls. We also shared the Crispy Potatoes which had aioli, salsa and herbs underneath the potatoes. They are a crispy but when you eat it with the other ingredients you get a burst of flavor. Yummy Crispy Potatoes. For our dinner my husband and I shared our favorite dishes the Smoked Pork Chop which comes with pickled mustard seeds, herbs, a honey nut puree, and whey. It was delicious. All of these ingredients in one bite is just amazing. We also shared the Pappardelle Pasta which has braised beef, peppered shallot confit, smoked celeriac, horsey sauce, crispy garlic, and nasturtium. I'm not sure what some of the ingredients are but the ingredients in the pasta made the dish out of this world. The noodles were perfect and the braised beef was excellent. It was delicious. For dessert we shared the Earl Grey Pannacotta which had pears, almond crumbles, pear sorbet, and Meyer lemon. This dessert went quickly. It was very tasty and not overly sweet. The Meyer lemon was tart but when all of the ingredients were mixed together the flavors evened each other out. Very tasty. Overall it was a wonderful birthday experience. Parking was easy, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the service was awesome, and the food was spectacular. I'll return again in the future.

This was my first time at Fig and I came here for the Valentine's Day with my partner and was very disappointed. There was a set Valentines menu, which I'm usually okay with, however the food options were limited and not appetizing in regard to it being an Italian restaurant. I got the halibut as my main dish and was terribly disappointed as it was sitting in a broth and had no flavor. The best part of the meal was the dessert and we both left feeling hungry. The price was $95 per person, not including drinks, which I felt was way too high considering the quality and limited menu items. The food items from the normal menu all look very appetizing and I wish they would've included some of these items on the speciality menu. I would love to come back to try the dishes on the normal menu and give it another chance but at this point I am still very disappointed.

My mom and I ate here the first week of October. They have been newly open for a couple of months at this point but the restaurant was very quiet/empty. Granted we ate on a Monday night, which isn't a night that most people eat out.We started with the brioche rolls and mushroom arancini, which are two of their bestsellers and what everyone orders. I chose the rigatoni pasta. The appetizers were definitely miles better than the pasta, which was way too salty. The I did love the texture and other flavors of the rigatoni but please tell your chefs to fix their salt-o-meter! The pasta reminded me of other Italian places I've been to that seem to "try too hard" by putting too many ingredients or flavors into one dish. While the other pastas on the menu looked interesting, I'm worried that they would give me that type of feeling. We were dealing with a family emergency during dinner and the servers respected our space well and helped us speed up the bill when we finished eating.

One of the best new places we've eaten at! I'm surprised they don't have more ratings. Their house cocktail and pasta dish we got were amazing. Also maybe the best potatoes I've ever had(forgot the name one of the appetizers) anyway get here before it's impossible to get a reservation.
