Just ordered the Ankle Biter pizza from Feral and it was delicious! Their online ordering system is simple and straight to the point. I received an estimated pickup time (which was accurate), and the guy who handed me my order was the kindest! Efficient service. The pizza had a little bit of a spicy kick which we loved. Paired with the hissin honey and homemade ranch it was truly *chef's kiss*... The sourdough crust was thin but also crunchy . We'll for sure be back to try some of their other options!

Wow!! I thought there was no way that this place could live up to the hype, but it absolutely did. The dough is the star of the show, I think it is the best dough in town, perfect chew, crisp and taste. I always get the ankle biter, but hope to try more of the menu soon. You order your pizza for a specific time slot that are limited on a daily basis. So, go to their website, secure your order, schedule your pickup time and enjoy. If you walk up to the trailer, most days they will be sold out. Use that website and order ahead. The folks running the trailer are super friendly and clearly passionate about turning out some of the best pizza in town. The trailer is tucked in beside a gas station/convenience store with plenty of parking around. They even have a few tables nearby if you want to enjoy your pizza right there. Finally, don't skip the herbed ranch and whatever their dessert offering is at the time.

I'm in search of the best NYC style pizza in Austin. My search has basically led me to Feral Pizza and Pedroso's.While there's nothing like getting a slice in NYC, I can happily say the pizza at Feral hits the spot. The dough is fermented 36-48 hours which is a must. I don't like it when dough isn't fermented and you can tell. The sauce is simple but maybe not as sweet as some NYC places. I don't want it too sweet but it could've been just a tad sweeter. I add a little sugar to my NYC pizza sauce. Everything about the pizza met expectations. A good crunch. Thin. Good mozz. There's a few benches to sit outside but most people take it to go. We ate there and ordered ahead (recommended as wait times can be long if you walk up). Our pizza was on time.I'll be checking out pedrosos next!

I came here on a Thursday and they weren't open for some reason, so I tried again on a Sunday. I looked on Instagram and they recommended placing an order online since they tend to sell out. So I ordered the Supreme Pizza and the Panic Attack in the morning for an evening pickup. The truck is located in a small yard, so we just parked on the neighborhood street. Each pie was between $23-$25 which is a little expensive, but the portion is pretty big. I walked up when it was my time for pick up. I think there's only one or two tables so we just took them home. Plus it's really hot to be sitting out in the direct sun. The Panic Attack was light, and I loved the ricotta dollops. But it was a little dry and I wished I had dipping sauce or ranch. The Supreme however was very flavorful and saucier. I absolutely loved the bread/crust. It's this perfect sourdough crunch and flavor. I'd recommend Feral Pizza, but I'd make sure to order ahead and buy ranch.

Such a good pie. I ordered online and was in a hurry so didn't realize the system texts you based on when it will be ready (they can only fire one pie at at time and it takes a certain pace for the oven to pull it through). Be sure to pay attention to your text messages so you don't show up way early like we did. The wait was fine though. It's in the parking lot of the Duval Market in a gated back area. Picnic table/ food truck ambiance. Anyway, the pizza was delicious, all ingredients were fresh, crust was thin, crisp and chewy and we got a beer from Duval Market while we waited. I will definitely be back.I got a build your own with mushroom, sausage pepperoni and jalapeños and the total was around $26 forThe pie.

The Force (and hype) is strong with this one. My wife and I have a Pizza night tradition every Friday and we had been dying to see if the hype around Feral Pizza was legit. So, we made the trek from South Austin and actually crossed the river to sample the goods. We got the Ankle Biter (Pepperoni, Jalapeno, & Garlic) and decided to add the Ricotta this pizza was amazing! Seriously...treat yo'self and add the ricotta people! We added a side of their house-made ranch dressing and scooped every bit of it out of the container. I just have one small suggestion - distance yourself from Duval Market on Instagram or find a better location because that market had poor service, unavailable restrooms, sub-par beer selections, and other issues. We will return for more pizza and hope to get our hands on that M&M Chocolate Chip Cookie one of these days!

I really wanted to like Feral Pizza, but our pie came up short. It looked great, had a thin and crispy crust, and was well cooked. Unfortunately, the ingredients were a fail. Our Supreme was missing the promised sausage entirely, replaced by an overabundance of olives with only a smattering of pepperoni and peppers. As a result, our slices lacked flavor. Despite the middling review, I plan to return because I have a hunch that tonight was a one off.

Feral pizza is our new favorite for a two-person pizza night. We got the Elaine, and it was on point.

We have finally had our chance to try what is undoubtedly the greatest and most delicious pizza anywhere in Austin. It's been so successful that you have to reserve your pickup, but since everything is freshly made by hand, slots are limited. We ordered the Supreme which has pepperoni and house made sausage and sauce. And their version of Ranch Dressing is full of herbs with a kick of spice from the fresh garlic which is perfect for dipping the handmade crust into. Now we know what all of the fuss is about because it's definitely our favorite pizza place. And it's so wonderful to see how much they appreciate their customers.

This pizza is good. This trailer has been on my list of places to try for months and was lucky to secure an order early in the day for pick up in the late afternoon. They do have slices as well if you don't order early but they sell out and there a reason why.Something about the dough is special. It's not cardboard or something you have to fold up like a New York style pizza. The crust was easy on the teeth and not too tough. The sauce just enough tomato and the sausage I just can't forget. I got the one with everything so it had pepperoni and red bell peppers. The peppers were marinated and the pepperoni just had the right amount of brininess. The olives these are the real stuff not the canned intoxicating ones. Plus the people that make this product are the nicest people and I was greeted warmly. Can't wait to try them again and again ..for me this is several times better than home slice. Also the ranch is the bomb. Well worth ordering to dip the crust in.
