So many wonderful things to say about Ezov. The vibe is always fun and welcoming. The bartenders are great - Fraya took care of me.Stopped in last night to treat myself to dinner. Started with the Burrata and carrots. The freshness of the dish was enjoyed in every bite. The greens, the dill, the crunchy pistachios, all perfectly balanced with the creamy Burrata. I had the lamb kebab for my main and it did not disappoint. Flavorful marinated lamb that still managed to be tender. Was on a bed of chickpeas with fresh tomato. A burst of flavors in the mouth. It's instead of dessert, the bartender suggested I try the beets which were out of this world! He said they take three days to make. Two days of smoking, then 12 hours in a vinegar solution. The result is a sour almost candy like delicacy. I am going to dream about those for a long time

The parking lot is valet only, at least at the time we were there. Me and my husband parked on the street for free, it was just a small walk. We had reservations at 6:00pm on a Saturday night and the table was ready as soon as we showed up. We sat inside but they have tables outside and in an outdoor covered area too. We ordered the whipped feta, hummus with charred broccoli, Chicken Shwarma, and the Lamb Kebob. We wanted to try a little bit of everything on the menu. The whipped feta was amazing but I asked for more honey bc it didn't come with enough the first time. The honey helped to balance out the flavor, it was a bit salty without it. The hummus and charred broccoli was amazing, it came with pickled onions in it. The chicken shwarma was so soft, it fell off the skewer so easily. It came with a tortilla/wrap, beats, and cabbage. I could do without the cabbage but the tortilla was good. The lamb kebab came in a bed of hummus/chickpeas. The lamb had a yummy smoky/charred flavor. We had plenty of leftovers so I think it's safe to only order 1 main dish and 1 side dish and share it. Overall, this place was yummy!!

Seriously loved every single thing we ate! I went with a small group and we ordered so much food to share. We got the falafel, whipped feta (SO GOOD!!), hummus (best I've ever had), smashed cucumbers, chicken shawarma, rice, and two different deserts. Everything was a flavor journey, so unique and absolutely devilish. This place was in my list for a long time and it really lived up to the hype. I love any place that has orange wine! And they have a menu spot for it so you know it's common. The cocktails were also amazing, one person in the group ordered contrails and they looked craft. Service was kind and fast!Valet parking is free, tip what you want. I really love that because this neighborhood can be tricky for street parking.

A third visit here has me convinced this is a top ten restaurant in Austin, and perhaps top five. The Israeli cuisine is complimented by nods and additions from other middle eastern cuisines. The service is enthusiastic - they'll happily explain what something is if you aren't sure. The interior is fun - yes, a bit too loud with the music that can slightly dampen conversation - but simultaneously upscale and modern. And the food...oh, it's so good. They know their way around beef and lamb and fish, but perhaps the real stars are things like labne and hummus - comfort foods elevated in exciting ways. They say their Everything Bagel Martini is hit or miss with people. It's a hit with me, so unusual with tastes of gin, feta, and dill oil. But dang, one was enough for me. It's a sipper, for sure. Go and enjoy. Ask questions. Explore the menu. Ezov is superb.

My wife and I came into Ezov for the first time with 2 friends on a Tuesday Evening at 5:30 PM. We made reservations ahead of time, about a week in advance--definitely recommend this! It wasn't so busy at first, but an hour or two later the restaurant was poppin' inside and outside. It was packed! Parking here was easy at the time we came. If I remember correctly, Mon. - Wed. you're allowed to park in their private parking lot, but the rest of the days you either go through their valet service or you find parking along the street nearby. The ambience was very chill and modern-like. Loved the different colors throughout the restaurant, music was nice and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. We were lucky enough to be seated inside and not in the cold outside, although they have plenty of heating lamps from what we could see on our way out.The service was super attentive and friendly. Being our first time in the server gave us the rundown on what was good and what she'd recommend, which we really appreciated. It's recommended that you order and eat your meal family-style, sharing with the rest of your table. The food was SOOOOOO delicious. Ugh. To start we ordered the "Hummus with Warm Blue Crab:" it included drawn butter, pickled celery and shawarma spice. The crab was meaty and mixed with the hummus, it just paired so well together. I wish I could go in detail of each plate we ordered, but just know each was delicious definitely worth ordering: Whipped Bulgarian Feta, Falafel, Lamb & Beef Manti, Kanpachi Crudo, Grilled Lamb Kebab and Chicken Shawarma. These plates were perfect to split among 4-2 Dips, 3 Meze, and 2 Mains. We also added a side of rice. Portioning was great for each, none felt too small. To drink I ordered the "Rose Tinted Glass:" a mix of strawberry gin, embered labne, elderflower and honey. It wasn't what I expected when it came to the table--and it tasted like cough medicine/liquid jello--super sweet, too sweet for my liking! Overall we had an amazing dining experience here and with all of the plates we ordered we were pleasantly surprised with the bill. So much quality and portioning for such a great price. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to come back!

An absolutely fantastic Meditterannean experience in the culinary sweetspot of Austin! It was my first time visiting Ezov, and I hope to be back in the future! My bf and I mad a visit on a Saturday evening, making reservations that morning so we could be sure to have a proper table and not be forced to sit at the bar! When we arrived, it didn't seem too packed, but there was a steady flow of patrons. The menu has a good amount of options for vegetarians, but when it comes to protein, falafel will be your best bet. But maybe reserve your "carb savings" when dining here because that's where things will be well spent! We started off with the whipped feta that came with two fresh loaves of frena bread! It was my first time having frena, but it reminded me of a puffed version of Lebanese bread that my childhood friend used to eat. Ezov's frena was so light, warm, and fluffy---it made the perfect accompaniment to the feta, although the latter was super crumbly and took some skill to spread over the bread without too much spilling off the plate!Next was the falafel plate. There were four falafel total over tahini sauce. I always know the falafel is going to be good if the outside is super crispy and the inside has a rich green color, which the falafel here checked the boxes off for both! My bf tried the octopus which he said was cooked well. For dessert, we shared the Krembo! It was extravagant to say the least---a base chocolate shortbread topped with a hard chocolate disc, turkish coffee ice cream, creamy meringue, and chocolate sauce with cacao nibs. It was super rich and it was rational for two people to share it, but to be honest I wanted it all for myself!Definitely pay a visit to Ezov if you haven't yet---it should definitely be on any Austin Mediterranean list you might have going!

Ezov is a vegetarian dream with enough veggie options to give you choices without feeling overwhelmed. I loved that everything felt like an elevated twist on a standard. So many restaurants just put basic veggie options on their menu to cover their bases, but Ezov makes them fun and experimental. We ordered:Hummus with Egyptian Fava Beans with breadSmashed Cucumber and Smoked LabneEggplant Sabich Everything Spiced Beets Chocolate Marshmallow Dessert Every single item was delicious - I would reorder them all if/when I go back. Also, my sweet tooth is at an all time high, so I'll be thinking about that chocolate marshmallow for days to come.

Ezov, you're my favorite Mediterranean spot in Austin! (I know, big claim) To drink I had-Last Stand, 4/5 Refreshing and mintyWished it came in a bigger glass! To start we had- Hummus with Warm Blue Hummus, 5/5Really surprised by this one. I didn't expect it to love it, but I did. I love the presentation of it and the portion was perfect for 4. There wasn't a fishy flavor-ey at all, the hummus probably needed a touch of salt. Whipped Bulgarian Feta, 5/5My favorite! Loved how creamy it was without it being too filling. (With the 3 pcs of Frena they give you), 5/5Pairing the two above with the Frena was perfect. It's a bit salty, a bit sweet. You think you're good with one pc but with the two apps, you definitely need a second. So get another batch! Meze we had- Crudo, 4/5 That Kanpachi fish was so fresh! The pomegranate was a bit different for me, but enjoyed the bite overall. Falafel, 4/5 Packed with spice! It has a kick so heads up there! Great flavor and filling. Lamb & Beef Manti, 5/5 Wow! This one was cool. Be open and be prepared to be surprised with greatness of flavor. It's fun, it has a crunch, the sauce is all over, and the lamb & beef are perfect. Mains we had- Chicken Shawarma, 4/5 Portions! The photos seem like it's not much, but it is! The chicken is tender and juicy. The veggies that it came with were okay and the pita underneath was a bit tricky to get to. Grilled Lamb Kebab, 5/5 I'd get two of these instead! The deconstructed hummus underneath, I wanted more!! So good. And of course the lamb was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and seasoned beautifully. The ambiance is intimate and hip, very East Austin. We sat inside this time around and we were greeted right away by our server who was really nice and attentive throughout our entire meal. The servers who came out with our food had excellent customer service as well! Thank you to the businesses that encourage their servers to explain what's on the dish, how it's cooked etc, while looking like they actually want to share this info. Heads up! We went on a Tuesday and didn't have to valet (I called and asked) so parking on the lot was a nice touch, would have to figure this out on other days where I'd have to find on the street which could be a pain in East Austin. Can't wait to come back!

It was easy to make a reservation online, and I changed it a few times before the actual day. I did mention the dinner was for celebrating a birthday, and restaurants normally notice that and make you feel special, but Ezov did not even mention it. I noticed service was lacking and our server disappeared towards the end of our meal. Hopefully this is not a normal occurrence. The food was delicous and very flavorful. Mediterranean is one of my favorite cuisines. I liked all of the sauces and dips that would come with the dishes as well. The frena bread was buttery and salty. We ordered the blue crab hummus (YUM), burrata salad (if you can call it a salad), falafel (super spicy!), chicken shwarma (DELISH), lamb kabobs (GOOD), rice and tabbouleh. May be tad on the pricy side for being family style, but we enjoyed tasting everything.
