Everest Food Truck

Ordered ubereats from here and it was delicious!!! I got chicken momo, chicken thupka, and wai wai sadheko. Everything was packed so nicely and the portions were really good especially for the price!! It was so flavorful and delicious!!!

Someone recommended this Nepali food truck in Austin and I absolutely loved it! We ordered chili momos with chicken filling they were so spicy and mouth watering had onions and green chilies on the side! (It started to rain heavily so I couldn't capture all the photos) we ordered the steamed chicken momos and vegetable chowmein (Nepali spices) Everything was just so damn good! Would highly recommend trying this place out they had other food options as well! There's also a Nepali food truck by the name of Himalayan food truck in Houston when I asked the cook here and I can't wait to try that!

My boyfriend and I walked nearly two miles from Riverside in our quest to try good Nepalese food. Everest Food Truck, for its cute (albeit unoriginal) name, was unfortunately a bit a disappointment.My boyfriend is Indian with a penchant for Nepalese food, and noted that the momos weren't great for the price, the roti was a bit undercooked, the curry was a bit small for the price, and the gulab jamun tasted like it came from a pre-packaged can. He's the South Asian food expert, but even in my novice opinion I agreed that they could have done better. In all we spent nearly $40 on the spread (see pics) and it really wasn't all that.The fact that the menu had half the prices crossed out and was pretty poorly designed was also odd. All in all I'd say that Everest Food Truck has a lot of room for improvement, but maybe check it out to see if you think so yourself!

Tasty! This is a food truck right off Cesar Chavez. Got chicken momos and veggie lo mein for $24. Food seemed fresh! It tasted really good too. I'd come again!

I have had my eye on this spot for a while. With this food truck being downtown, I was worried about parking. My coworker eased my concerns I had about parking so we decided to try it on Saturday.This is a busy food truck. They have pink tables outside you can sit at. Luckily we ordered in advance for pick up so we didn't have to wait for too long. I ordered the chicken chow mein and tried the Jhol momo. First off, let me say I appreciate the fact that they package the momos by themselves and the curry/soup in its own container. Nobody likes soggy dumplings.The chicken chow mein was good. Compared to other places, they definitely give you a lot of noodles. Other spots will give you more veggies so if you have a toddler that loves noodles this is perfect. I didn't have to scrape the veggies off for her. The chow mein also had kala chan (whole black chickpeas) in it. That was different than I had before, but they were crunchy. Nice touch! Definitely try this place out. They have a variety of items. The sign on the truck says Everest Food Truck on it, but the receipt says Everest Taco truck which matches this Yelp listing. They have burgers and tacos which really has something for everyone.

Really good. Be careful of the spicy sauce that comes with the dumplings. The chili dumplings are spicy too, but seemingly not as intense. I literally had to search my fridge for expired chocolate milk after having a steamed dumpling dipped in the spicy sauce. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious... just be prepared. The samosas are really good, too. They come with more of like a not-so-spicy tomato dip. The chicken lo-mein was nice. Chicken Paneer was good, but Chicken Curry with Paratha was my favorite. Their tea pairs nicely with the dishes. (It's a hot tea.)

Are you craving a mouthwatering adventure? Head over to downtown Austin & after a late night out.. drop by Everest! This food truck is killing it with their momo scene! I've visited them a few times over the past few months & trust me when I say.. it's worth the drive! I love their chili & fried momos the most! They are not super oily and always hit the spot! The service is always fast and food is always piping hot! It's not in a very popping location, however there is covered seating and the area has never been sketch even when we've visited late night!

This place is pretty awesome! I already cannot wait to go again. First of all, even though it's a food truck they have cute pink benches outside with umbrellas so you can definitely eat in front of the shop when the weather is good. Also the biggest indicator that this place's food is amazing was that every single customer that I saw going here was either Indian or Nepalese. It could just be the day I went, but I was surprised when I saw the crowd. Also, the food truck people were super nice and they were also from either India or Nepal because I could tell they had accents and were not born and raised here in America. Anyways, my point is - this place had amazing food that tasted SUPER authentic and had LOTS and LOTs of veggie options which is why I will be going again. I got the veggie momos and now I am a momo addict.

I had never tried Nepalese food before but had to give this a shot after driving by several times. Ordered online and picked up. Really great service and a great menu. The food -- WOW. So so good. I ordered the chicken momo and veggie chow mein. So fresh and flavorful. Both came with this fantastic chili curry sauce. Such an unassuming spot but has some of the best food in the city. I will be back.

Loved it! Definitely a new favorite of mine. I have ordered a ton of thai, but I wanted to try nepalese as I've heard it is similar in some ways but different. I really enjoyed the Momo and ordered the tiki masala. Food came very hot still (ordered through Uber Eats) so much so I had to wait for it to cool down LOL. Will recommend!
