Epicerie never ceases to provide us with delicious meals. On this visit, we split the Royal Corona Beans, Steak Frites, and Pork Shoulder. The beans were really simple and tasted like a bowl of peasant comfort. I say that as a 100% positive thing. It's a dish I can picture my grandma making and we enjoyed it.The Steak Frites was fantastic albeit a hair on the undercooked side for us. We ordered it mid-rare and it was closer to rare. That said, we would prefer under to over any day of the week. It was still delicious, especially with the black garlic-bone marrow butter. Holy cow was that butter amazing. The fries were nice and crunchy and came with a really light aioli. Finally, the Pork Shoulder was to die for. I don't know where they source their pork from, but it was the porkiest pork we've ever had AND it was perfectly cooked. The cute little turnips on the side were great and it all matched well with the rice grits. We left saying, "We really need to come back here more often."Thanks for a great dinner!

Well done épicerie, bravo. Where shall I begin? From the moment we entered we were greeted and seated at a window table. Beautiful morning light shone through. Thoughtful restaurant layout with ample seating. The display case of pastry's is placed in the dining area so if you're a visual person you can see exactly what you'll get. I did not order a meal but will be back to try other dishes outside of pastries. Spinach & Artichoke danish- delicate layers, flaky, filling is not too heavy, aromatic and just the right amount of cheese so you can taste the artichoke and beautifully toasted basil leaf too.Almond croissant almost has a grilled or smoke essence to it, which I appreciate. This is a very unique almond croissant more on the nutty warm side than your traditional sweet sugary almond extract flavor. Lemon poppyseed danish- ooooh baby this was the winner for me, but I am a sucker for anything lemon. What impressed me most is their ability to keep the pastry fresh and flaky without getting soggy from the curd, truly a masterpiece. A fun take on a lemon poppy seed muffin but puffy pastry style.Babkassant- this was probably my least favorite due to being too sweet and after all the home runs with above mentioned pastries this just didn't do it for me. My only qualm is the price, pricey but I'm willing to pay for the quality. Therefore, a special occasion place only because those sweets add up to a pretty penny real quick!

This beautiful cafe transported me to a European city! Our waiter was very patient as me and my friend took some time deciding what to order; there was just so many mouth watering options to choose from! I ended up getting the quiche, which was a generous portion and extremely well made. I would definitely get it again. I also tried my fitness beef pastrami sandwich, which blew my tastebuds away with the flavor. You can't fo wrong with either choice! Both the almond croissant and kougan aiman were also baked to perfection and not overly sweet. Overall, epicerie gets a 9/10 in my book!

It is so cute in here! We got in line right before I opened up on Saturday. The French onion soup was rich and savory, and the melted cheese was perfectly gooey, with a slight golden crust. The beignets were pillowy clouds of fried dough, dusted generously with powdered sugar. Light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness--they were the perfect way to end the meal. Not a ton of parking spots in the lot. Great coffee too.

My friend invited me here to catch up and it is the perfect spot to do that! The building is adorable and the food is delicious. I asked the waiter so many menu questions and he was very amiable and helpful. Love that they have seasonal menu items -- we will be back!

I used to go here like 5-6 years ago and it was always a nice place to grab a light breakfast/brunch or to splurge on what I think are the best and most authentic beignets in town. I recently moved back and man it looks like they've blown up in terms of popularity. And you know what, good for them. They deserve it. It's a great local spot. I'll come a lot of times just for coffee and beignets, but I'm also a fan of their breakfast sandwich. It can get a little busy during the weekends but I've never had to wait too long. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar and have Miles help you out, he's the man. Really friendly guy and a great bartender.

What a super cute brunch spot! Seems like I was only excited enough to take pics of my carbs haha but I also had a salad I swear. The beignets were my fave, light and fluffy, so good! The biscuits were overcooked in my opinion which made them very crunchy. The Caesar salad I got had green beans and a soft boiled egg which was delicious. I would absolutely come back here again. Took home a pistachio and tiramisu pastry for my husband and he liked them but wow were they expensive! At least the quality is there though so you get what you pay for for sure.

A fantastic brunch spot on North Austin. I wouldn't call this a hidden gem, but it's not nearly as popular or talked about as other places. Beignets are European sweet, but if you add more honey or powdered sugar, you'll get it super sweet.Quiche of the day is a huge slice of quiche. It has this super slick and velvety texture that may gross out some, but I was fine with it. Chocolate chip cookies here are delicious! They satisfy what I want from a. Crispy bottom and a doughy top with pretty big chips. Spinach and artichoke danish is fantastic! A dense, bold flavor concentrated within the center. It's quite flaky if you are trying to share it. golden beets salad is a symphony of flavor. If it's available, order it!

Épicerie was outstanding. I'm so glad I came here. Instead of giving my usual *chefs kiss* I literally want to kiss the chef for making such amazing food. So in love. can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I will be going back. Not only was the service great, but the beignets were my perfect introduction to beignets and the London fog with ambrosia black tea was amazing. The aesthetic of the restaurant was amazing too. It helped that it's in a cute neighborhood and feels truly homey.
