I came here yesterday for the first time since this restaurant opened. Upon entering the restaurant, the decor is very bright and cheerful and welcoming. I was greeted promptly by the hostess and seated in a very nice booth. They have both inside and outside seating. They have full alcohol service. The prices are a little steep. Chips and salsa are not complementary at this Mexican restaurant. They cost four dollars, but they are exceptional. The chips are freshly made. They are served with two types of salsa and some black bean dip.For my meal, I selected street tacos and they were $14. Most of their meals do not include rice and beans. Rice and beans are three dollars extra.I also got some black tea, which was also exceptional. One thing that they do at this restaurant, which is quite classy is they serve things on a silver tray . The water came in a glass bottle with two glasses on the silver tray. My tea was served in a nice teapot with 2 cups, and a supply of lemons on a silver tray. The silver tray is really over the top and quite classy. My server was Olivia. Olivia did everything in her power to give us an exceptional experience. She was a very good server. Now comes the reason for the four stars. My husband got steak tacos. Upon picking them up, the tortillas literally crumbled. I asked Olivia for new tortillas so he could wrap them again and Olivia instead ordered him a new meal, which was very kind. I asked her to double wrap the tacos and they did . However, the tortillas still crumbled when he picked them up. This was disheartening. They definitely have an issue with their steak taco tortillas.I will definitely be here again for more street tacos, but my husband will not be ordering the steak tacos. This is a great place to bring a date or to meet friends. It's a good restaurant to visit. The hours are different during the week than they are on the weekend, so make sure to check their hours before you visit.

This is a revamp on what was previously my beloved El Monumento. Same amazing staff! The new owners have been in the El Monumento family as the GM for years. They have done an outstanding job adding new additions to the menu and new decor. The atmosphere and views are fabulous. Two patios, one facing the river and one in the center surrounded by beautiful landscaping and an outside tiki bar. Some of the same fantastic recipes, and new dishes that we loved. The margaritas are the best you will EVER have. Coming from south Texas that says a lot! The Staff is superb! The absolute best bartenders and staff! The cantina is my personal favorite. Come support this local business where you will find the best food, people, service and staff!

A group of seven of us celebrated a girlfriends birthday there last night and had a wonderful experience! Great atmosphere of course but the drinks were INCREDIBLE. I got a cold brew dessert cocktail which was perfectly sweet and had a delicious foam on top. Loved the Maui tacos too! Our server Joanna was so attentive and warm. Handled our craziness well. We will definitely be back!

We came here for Sunday brunch, and there was no wait which was amazing! The ambiance was absolutely gorgeous. We sat on the patio out back for brunch, and you can see the river and park right in front of you. The weather was also perfect that day. We ordered the chips and salsa combo, a flight of margarita samples, chilaquiles divorciados and the churro waffle. Everything was fresh and tasty! Our waitress was kind and helpful overall, but we did need to get her attention once or twice when we needed her. Overall, it was a delicious brunch and we will be back!

This place is amazing! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Our waitress was very attentive and had great recommendations for our groups for food and drinks. She even took some pictures for us. She was very busy, but made it a priority to check on not just our table, but all of her other tables frequently. The food was top notch, as were their cocktails! I felt like it was a gourmet take on Tex Mex. Their prices were comparable to any other restaurant. I highly recommend this amazing place!

This is a new take on what was previously our beloved El Monumento. The building is beautiful and they have the fabulous view of the river from the patio, cantina and main dining areas just as before. Some of the same fantastic recipes, all new menus. They have great service. We tried the guacamole, I'm not a fan, in fairness it's the same as El Monumento- I don't like the fruit in it. The chips and salsa come with a red and green salsa and a fabulous bean dip, a great value for $4. We had the beef and chicken combination fajitas they were cooked perfectly, great flavor especially the beef. Rice and beans are a nice add-on, we shared one order and had to get a to-go box. Please come support this local business, we will be back for sure.

First and foremost the view from the patio overlooking San Gabriel river is absolutely beautiful! This is the draw to this place. Unfortunately the service is very slow and staff seem to be just going through the motions. We had to wait a while before even getting greeting by the hostess and had to ask another server to get our server. Server was young and appeared overwhelmed despite it not being very busy. The "fresh" limeade did not actually taste fresh. The salad and steak were decent. Overall, go for the view and expect sub par service.

My friend recommended this place to us. She said the place was called " El Monumento". There is alot of street construction near and it took awhile to get there. Also super confusing when we arrived, but was informed that they had a name change. We got seated at the patio, which I didn't mind at all. Since it was a beautiful day. We started off with the Queso Flameado, which was really good we just forgot to add the meat so I would highly recommend. My friends all got the chicken poblano cream and I was the only one that got the barbacoa and rojo gravy. Both meals were good since I did sample off a friend of their food. For drinks I did try the mojito and the shaken pina coloada. I would absolute get again. They would just need to update their signs outside to ensure the name encantada is there, so there is no confusion.

Georgetown lacks quality food restaurants with ambiance, and Ecantada takes full advantage of it. The taco plate consists of only two tacos, no sides, on small store bought tortillas. We eat here about twice a year and every time we do, I question why we ever go back. Save your money, and just go to Mas Fajitas or El Charito.
