Outstanding, friendly and wonderful cuisine! There were 4 in our group and we tried a variety of their main dishes. The Lobstet tail, Chicken, Scallops, and the Skewer are all a must! The carrots and potatoes are mouth watering! Each of us had a different dessert and all were very pleasing to the palate! Manager, Michael is the best! Everyone should also have Damon wait on them!! Great service.

I've truly found my home away from home at Ember! The exceptional service, warm atmosphere, and outstanding food have all combined to make this restaurant a standout. From the friendly and attentive wait staff to the skilled bartenders, welcoming hostesses, and talented chefs, every team member makes me feel like family. As someone who often dines alone, I appreciate the extra effort they put into making me feel included and valued.Whether I'm stopping by for a drink or enjoying a full meal, I always leave Ember feeling satisfied and grateful for the wonderful experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that feels like home, look no further than Ember!

I've been wanting to try Ember for a while, and when I finally dined here, I really enjoyed it. Parking is validated inside the Seaholm garage for up to two hours, but my dinner lasted three hours, so I ended up paying $13.Service was excellent--our server was knowledgeable about wine and made great recommendations. I had a Sancerre that paired beautifully with my scallops. We were seated upstairs with more intimate tables that overlook to the main dining floor. There's also a bar downstairs that's opened on weekends. The appetizers were solid. The hamachi crudo was fresh but could have used a bit more salt, while the beef skewers were flavorful--just avoid the green sauce if you're sensitive to spice. My entrée, scallops with grilled corn, was delicious. My partner ordered the wagyu beef, cooked medium rare, but he had it cooked a little longer so I could try it too (even though I insisted it was fine). The wagyu was perfectly prepared and, to our surprise, came with tortillas--it turns out you're meant to wrap the beef, which explains the abundance of onions on the plate. For dessert, we asked the couple next to us for their thoughts. They had the ice cream and said they wished they had ordered the chocolate, so we took their advice. It was rich and satisfying, though I avoided the raspberry jam since I'm not a fan. The chocolate itself was fantastic. I wish I took a picture of the dessert menu because there were a few options that all sounded yummy.

Date Night! We had the most incredible dinner this evening with cocktails, apps, entrees and a fabulous homemade dessert! The attention to detail of not only each item that comes out of the bar or kitchen is immaculate! The hospitality is more than I could ask for from the host, to our server to the chef. We are greeted with smiles and then treated like family and royalty at the same time! I felt at home yet treated like I could not and should not have a care in the world. I could talk for hours on the plating and flavoring of each dish. My mind is blown!!

The Good: Sat at Chef's bar whet the action was. Admittedly, if you're combining meat and fire, you're ahead in my book! After a discussion about how I prefer my steak, our waiter suggested medium-rare plus! And let me tell you - that's how it was served! The Not So Good: If I had to nitpick, I might have liked 2 crab cakes so it was easier to share. The Bad: More like sad. We had to leave because they had another reservation. Completely acceptable because we had already gorged ourselves. Might also have been nice if they offered a happy hour.

I've been here a couple of times now and while it's not my favorite restaurant in town, it's pretty solid. I had the scallops last time and this time I had the crab cake and thought both were good. Took a bite of my friends steak and thought it crushed the last 2 restaurant steaks I've had. I'll have to go back again soon.

Probably a top 3 dining experience I've had in Austin.Came on a Sunday night and enjoyed an incredible, flavorful and wholesome dinner. My server Brayan was so kind and attentive. He provided excellent recommendations for an unforgettable meal I texted friends about visiting again ASAP while still eating.I had the filet, the carrot and the broccolini. Everything was PACKED with flavor, perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. Spicing was perfect. The textures and flavors married perfectly.Extra nice was the welcome cocktail shot, mocktail shot, chips and guacamole and complimentary huge dessert (absolutely DIVINE by the way!)In a time where restaurants are stingy, Ember is generous and it so adds to the entire experience of being in such a cool building with amazing music. 15/10 recommend!

Loved this place!Walking in, the mood is immediately set. Low lights and evening chatter!!This place has a Hispanic inspired menu and they do a great job at paying homage to those roots. Lots of land and sea options. We got the octopus to start. Delicious, very tender and well made. A bit oily but overall delicious. The salmon stole the show though! It was soft and perfectly made and well seasoned. The potatoes were lackluster and the bok choy were okay but the salmon is truly the star.Great service overall!

Overall: 4.75 This place gets it right, from customer service to impeccable food/drinks and vibes. Let's get into the review! Pros:- Validated parking for the garage- Incredible food/drinks- Ambiance/vibes- Experience from beginning to end- Attention to detail (plating)- FOOD + DRINKS! Side Notes:- Need to make reservations- Celebrated bday- Located in DT AustinWhat We Got:- Subterra Old Fashioned + Ember Espresso - Caviar Bites - Juniper 1/2 Chicken- Wagyu Steak- Crispy Beef Fat Potatoes - Bday dessert! What We Loved: Design/Space: This gorgeous, two-story restaurant is surrounded by the DT Austin vibe (it's in the same shopping area where Trader Joe's is, by the way, so park there to get validation). We sat on the second floor and felt very romantic yet energetic. We loved the decor, from the leather-bound menus to the glassware they used for the old-fashioned. Food/Drinks: They served us complimentary palete cleansers, which was a great way to set the tone for the rest of the night. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and suggested everything perfectly. The drinks were incredible, as we have some high standards on drinks, haha, and the food was outstanding. They have handmade tortillas that came with our entree and could stand out themselves. The food was perfectly cooked. The crispy fat potatoes were crispy, crispy, while the inside of the potatoes were soft and not dried out. The chicken was juicy, and I wanted more caviar bites after we left (and the steak was also perfectly cooked). Since it was my partner's bday, they brought out a chocolate dessert that topped off the night, from the complex flavors, compliments, and plating. Staff: The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. The server didn't let our water empty out, which is hard to do with a whole house. Opportunities To Improve: I don't have words yet, except I'll come back to review my next experience after I sit by the bar. Summary:I came here for my partner's birthday dinner and left incredibly pleased, complete, and eager to return for drinks. The services will be back from beginning to end, simply because of the customer treatment (the smiles and quick responses). I hope the menu continues to iterate, as it does, so I can immerse myself in the experience repeatedly. It is one of my favorite places for fine dining or grabbing an elevated cocktail in Austin! Definitely go check it out!

Food and services were amazing. Recommend the chef's table to see behind the curtain! Spectacular food. Chef was on point. A little refining and could potentially be a contender for a Star very soon. Would highly recommend. Date night dinner 2/6/25.
