BBQ Pork Skewer
Dessert egg roll was burnt. I tried to break the burnt off to taste the fruit filling and the only flavor I got was burnt waffle.

I ordered this via DoorDash and I think it was very pleasantly delicious. The meats were cooked very good and the sauce was very sweet and savory. I'm looking forward to going into the restaurant soon.

We had a late night craving for lumpia, so we ordered these for delivery. Will definitely be doing this again -- we tried the lumpia sampler with 12 different small egg rolls and they were all delicious. The only downside to the experience was the pancit. I've had homemade Filipino pancit before and this just didn't measure up -- to the point that I just got rid of it. Anyway, live and learn -- and definitely order egg roll snacks here!

OMG, the Halo Halo was sooooo good! I can't believe no one took a pic of it yet so here it is! It's a must for dessert! I'll come here just for that. I might ask for an extra scoop of Ube ice cream because it was amazing!

My first visit to Elsie's did not disappoint. I order to Silog with BBQ Skewers and 3 eggrolls. It was a lot of food! Everything was delicious. I added the spicy eggroll sauce to the garlic rice and it was amazing! The service was great. We had a large party and the food came out quickly.

We always drive by Elsie's Egg Rolls going up into Georgetown, and after a while, curiosity got the better of us and we paid a visit to try some Filipino food for lunch. Menu options look pretty authentic and the prices are fair. We called in an lunch order for the Pancit and the Pork Adobo combos, and they were ready after five minutes. We tried the mixed lumpias. The veggie lumpia was our favorite. The chicken and pork lumpias was just okay, the skins were nice and crispy, but the meat fillings were a bit dry. We also tried their regular and spicy sauces. The spicy version had a bit of a tingle, but not very much. The Pancit was pretty good with a nice balance of veggies and meat. The Pork adobo, while the sauce was nice, the pork itself was extremely dry and pretty difficult to get down. Would definitely opt for something else next time.

I love love their Filipino spaghetti and halo halo ! The halo is a bit on the pricier side. I do wish the entree portions were a bit bigger for the price but not a dealbreaker.

The Austin metro area is getting bigger while makes places that used to sound far away (like Hutto) not too far nowadays. I came here with a big group for lunch on a weekday. The place is small but they accommodated us very quickly and efficiently. I had the chicken pancit which was delicious. I also ordered pork and chicken egg rolls. Both were good and I liked the pork the best. The food here was fantastic and I can't wait to go back!

I can't believe this is my first review for Elsie's! We have been enjoying her fantastic Filipino cuisine since she was in a food trailer in Hutto, now that she has a sit down restaurant it is even better. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean and is decorated with interesting items from Filipino culture. The service is always great and friendly and the food cannot be beat, our favorite things are the skewers and lumpia! My favorite thing when my tummy is upset, it's to go and order some of their garlic rice. If you're new to the area, you cannot miss eating at Elsie's and she even has a drive-through.

If Elsie's Egg Rolls was closer to me, I'd be here more often! The restaurant is clean and spacious with plenty of food options to choose from, including a board of rotating specials. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Sometimes there is even a shelf of Filipino pastries you can purchase to take home. While there are only a few Filipino food options in and around Austin, I'm glad this is one of them. Of course I had to try the lumpia (egg rolls) and was pleasantly surprised by how long they were. Talk about filling! The kare kare, with its side of shrimp paste, was hearty and comforting. I appreciated how much meat there actually was. The dish was creamy, smooth, and cooked to tenderness. The only thing I didn't like were the string beans. They were chewy and inedible almost as if they were cooked, frozen, and thrown haphazardly into the stew. They also had a number of silog options. We went with the beef tapa and were satisfied. We also wanted to try the bangus and they graciously let us order it a la carte (without the rice). It was crispy, salty and paired nicely with the garlic rice from the tapsilog. The lugaw I would skip out on. I have more of a citrus palate and prefer arroz caldo or goto, so this porridge was too bland for me. We rounded out the meal with a turon. Unfortunately, it was a little burnt and I was surprised it didn't have the sweet glaze on it. It comes with a dipping sauce of your choice for the added sweetness, but I'd probably skip out on this too.

we thought it's eggroll store, so we ordered their eggroll! The price is a purely rip-off. we never ate a bowl of plain, bad taste porridge for $9.99! Other place charged $7.99 for shrimp porridge and $9.99 was for fish porridge! And the eggroll was nothing but a small one with thumb-size which charged more than $2 each! We spent more than $20 but the food was barely enough for one person! we'll never go again!
