El Secreto de la Abuela 2

El Secreto de Abuela is a cute, unassuming little Mexican place. The prices are a tad high, but the food and service are certainly something to come back for again and again.We swung in on a weekday morning for some breakfast. I'm a huge fan of chicharrones, so I got the Huevos con Chicharrones. My boyfriend leans towards Huevos a la Mexicana, but he decided to jazz them up with machacado and nopales. Both of our meals were delicious! The chicharrones were nice and tender. The potatoes were hot and crispy. His eggs came out perfect and were delicious with the added machacado and nopales. We also split an orange juice which was really good and came in a giant goblet lol.Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. We will definitely be back to give lunch or dinner a try soon.

Super quick, super simple and super good! Went in for a quick couple of breakfast tacos. They used bomb bacon, and cooked everything to perfection. Great service, and the breakfast tacos were wonderful!

Small but clean restaurants. Good service! The food was incredible! Like really good! Homemade, fresh, hot, delicious!

Amazing creamy jalapeño sauce! Prob one of the best I've had. Got the migas, which came out super fast, and overall very solid. Potatoes weren't very flavored, but that was fine by me since everything else was so flavorful

The restaurant is humble and eccentric like the name would imply. I came in around 1:30 and sat myself. The chips come with a red salsa and some green sauce with a bit of a kick, other than that they taste like you'd expect. I got the chicken enchiladas, they came out quickly and hot! The chicken itself is very flavorful and well seasoned and the tortilla isn't soggy. The green sauce is SO good. Definitely recommend one of the better green sauces i've had on enchiladas, more tangy less creamy. The rice and beans were average but still good! My only issue was the prices jumped up a little compared to last fall according to the menu pictures on here so i'm including pictures of the menu to show current prices. But the food is 10/10 very chill spot for lunch light music and good amount of parking.

This place is a hidden gem. The building itself looks a little run down but don't let that deter you from trying it. Hubby ordered the costillas and really enjoyed them. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered a sope. Much bigger than others I have had. The masa was crispy and the toppings were fresh. It was delicious. It was very filling. My son had the gorditas and again they were big and very tasty. The lady that took our order was very friendly and the food came out fast.

Absolutely legit Mexican breakfast spot. Vast menu to order from with terrific service.I got the migas which was outstanding.Definitely would suggest this spot.Spacious enough for a big crew - kid friendly.

The food was so good I couldn't save a bite for photos! The food was fresh and hot. Very authentic, service was amazing. I had no problems ordering my food. Also, I was able to buy some candy and some ice cream will definitely be back here again this time I'll be eating inside for the full five-star experience.

This restaurant is very racist. The waiter kept rushing me to order my food when I had already told her I was not done with looking at the menu. She came back three times within two minutes again rushing me to order my food. When I receive my food. I ordered the enchiladas. The cheese was burnt. I asked them to replace my meal in which they did, it took me about an hour to even get my food when I finished she may be came over and asked if I needed anything and took my plate without even asking me if I was done, I will not return to this restaurant they do not like colored people.
