Cash Only! And open late...Tacos are authentic and delicious! They don't skimp on the ingredients and serve up pretty sturdy tacos. Great flavor, zero complaints there. If I carried cash more frequently I'd go back but I rarely have it on hand. Anyway it's definitely Worth Trying!!!

Lo siento, pero es verdad.....Nobody can beat El Paisa's tortas. NOBODY, you herrr me? I panic every time I drive by and don't see their truck out there. Mmmmmmmmilanesaaaaaaaa..... Still thinking about it. Last night I met two paisas who were deciding what tacos to get. I told them the bistek. They listened. Cilantro and onions please. Sas! That's wussup. All they need to do now is make real tacos al pastor "trompo" style and they'll be perfect.

I used to eat here 3x/wk when I lived at Berkshire SoCo, now the Davis SoCo (literally right next to El Paisa). So, needless to say - a very long time. I used to have serious cravings for their Al pastor and would even dream about it But today is a very sad day for me because it is confirmed.. El paisa was sold to new owners, and the food is completely changed, horrible and fkng disgusting..and we will NEVER be back again. Also, the owner was so rude about giving out napkins and an extra plate? My review is primarily about the food tho, their "customer service" is just icing on the cake. Their food is completely disgusting now, almost inedible. My fave, the Al Pastor was very fatty, totally bland and gross was so greasy. Not to mention they raised the price to $3/taco. Ugh El Paisa used to be So good and was my favorite taco truck. Rip Al pastor taco :( I will sadly never ever go back.

The greatest food stand accident ever....So I will tell you how I came to discover El Paisa, yeah I don't care if you don't want to know. My friend and I are sitting at the Crow Bar (be sure to read my review of it as well) and we are about to head to the house and he says he wants to stop at the little taco stand up the road. I agree. So we leave the bar and he calls and says that he needs gas so he will meet me there in a bit. So I pull up at El Paisa and I am waiting on my friend to get back, well he calls me because he is at a different spot he was talking about the unnamed taco stand next door (in front of the beer barn) and I was like I thought you meant this place and he says I have never had that so we can give it a shot. I ordered 2 Al Pastor Tacos and a Sudero taco, which I had to have him translate what it was, a tender thin sliced flank steak type meat that is delicious. He ordered the Tripas (which the unnamed cart does not have). These tacos were amazing and the green and red salsa are really good. While standing to the side and eating my tacos I saw 2 people order the tortas and they are humongous. I will definately tear into one of these on one of my drunken adventures in the future. This place was so good we ate there Friday and Saturday night after leaving the bar. The food is really good and super cheap. The only downside is they only take cash so be prepared, but there prices are so good you shouldn't have a hard time scraping together enogh for a couple of tacos.
