Large variety of legit dumplings, from soup dumplings (xaio long bao) to pan fried dumplings to boiled and steamed dumplings with various fillings. The soup dumplings were plump and very juicy filled with flavorful soup and a must try. All the food came out quickly. Bright casual ambiance good for lunch, hanging out with friends, casual dinner with family. Fast efficient no frills service. Nice parking lot with a decent amount of spaces.

Dumplings for days! Modern dumpling shop with dumplings of all types, it feels like a refined version of your home. The dumplings themselves are actually pretty good. Well seasoned fillings, good dumpling skin, and portions are good. The dumpling sizes are definitely larger than you would think, so you can get fuller than normal eating dumplings. In order of like:1. Pork soup dumplings: juicy plump purses of not too hot soup. Generous on the soup, well seasoned and skins thin enough - could be a little thinner imo. I'm missing the ginger on the side with the vinegar and chili oil, but they are large soup dumplings. Broth isn't scalding, so you can one shot it if you want, but definitely savory porky goodness.2. Pork and scallion thumb dumplings - think mini pan fried buns with a little bit of pork filling. It's juicy and goes great with chili oil and vinegar. I love me the crisp.3. Spicy and sour pork and chive dumplings - good on a cold day, plump boiled dumplings with a little back of the throat heat and sour profile is delectable. But nothing special either compared to the others. All that said, it is really expensive for dumplings, even if the portion size is decent. And it's definitely better in a large group so you can try a lot of stuff.Parking is surprisingly painful in the Triangle, but you can find some in the garage eventually. But everything is close, so walking is fine.

This place definitely needs to be higher on your list for soup dumplings! While visiting ATX, I randomly found it when searching on google maps and figured I'd give it a try based on the reviews. I was actually blown away. Everything we ordered was SO good (soup dumplings, combo fried rice, & sweet & sour dumplings). For the two of us, this was more than enough food and we were stuffed at the end. The wait wasn't long for a Friday night & I did notice they have the Yelp waitlist feature to put yourself on the list before you arrive so that's nice. I also loved how they give every table a pitcher of water. Overall, great experience and definitely will be back when I'm in town.

I tried Dumpling World for the first time with a Monday lunch takeout, and I'm happy with my order. What first caught my eye when reading about this place was the sheer variety of dumplings to choose from. I ended up choosing pan-fried Thumb Buns (pork and scallion), Beef Chow Mein, and Soy Noodle Salad for my first try. I was only there to pick up my food, but the place looks pretty nice for dining in; the Mandarin pop music in the background adds a nice touch. I had a little trouble finding a parking spot, but I do like that the order is prepared quick.I'll definitely say the food is authentic. The pan-fried buns are delightful--exactly the kind of fresh filling with enough seasoning and flavor that it doesn't need soy sauce. It did come with a little cup of crispy garlic chili oil, which is a must-add if you like spicy food like I do.The Soy Noodle Salad isn't the type of soy noodle I'm used to, but the flavor is spot on. Right when I opened the container, the scent of sesame oil immediately told me the flavor was right, and I'm definitely going to enjoy it. A cold, spicy appetizer is a must for traditional Chinese food. The Beef Chow Mein is more on the saucy side than I expected. Not what I usually think of when ordering chow mein in the U.S.; different, but very good, and it reminds me of home! The bok choy, instead of onions and carrots, really adds a nostalgic taste to the meal. The dishes I tried today were very satisfying and promising. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other dumplings on the menu.

They were super busy on lunar new year but once I got the table, the service was quick. My food came out in no time. The beef noodle soup was really good. The meat was great and the bok choy wasn't overcooked. I need to try the dumplings next time (can't not when the place is called dumpling world!).

Great Chinese spot! Came here on a Friday night. The place was pretty full but there were a few tables still open and my group of 3 got seated right away. We all shared the Chicken Fried Rice, Eggplant and Minced Pork Noodles, and the Pork and Mushroom Soup Dumplings. I'd say the noodles were my favorite dish but overall everything was pretty tasty. Very glad I got to try this place!

My partner and I decided to come here for our Valentine's Day dinner date, and we were overall satisfied with the decision! Although the Yelp Waitlist was closed, our walk-in wait time was around 10-15 minutes, which was not bad at all considering that we came during prime dinner hours. We ended up ordering the classic Cheese Crab Puffs, a couple of dumpling orders, and a couple of noodle bowls. The Cheese Crab Puffs were crispy and delicious, and I loved how their sweet and sour sauce was homemade with tiny veggie slices infused into the sauce (which you usually don't see at the other places). My overall favorite dishes were the Beef & Onion Spicy and Sour Dumplings, Pan-Fried Thumb Buns (Shrimp & Pork & Chive), and the Eggplant & Minced Pork Noodle (dry bowl). I especially loved the savory and tangy broth that the Beef & Onion Spicy and Sour Dumplings came in -- could literally just sip that broth for days lol! The Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup wasn't my favorite because I felt like the beef could have been more tender and the broth was not as spicy or flavorful as I had hoped. Because it was Valentine's Day, they surprised us with a couple of free Soup Dumplings, which I would highly recommend ordering because the dumplings were perfectly made and contained the perfect ratio of meat and soup in my opinion! Dumpling World is an overall casual, yet homey, atmosphere and offered an efficient service model without lacking on an attentive customer experience. We'll absolutely be back for our next dumpling craving!

Oh, Dumpling World, you are my world.Freshly made dumplings and noodle dishes jam packed with flavor. I hate when you get a chewy dumpling. Never the case here. Always good properly whether steamed or fried.
