Chicken fried steak dinner disgusting. Like the DQ steak fingers get a 5 star over this how can you mess up mash potatoes. Dude a hungry man dinner from HEB beat this plate never. How can the place that sell some of the best menudo in ATX. Chicken fried steak

Don't hit that drive thru for lunch at the arches....get you a Lunch Special at Donn's! Super friendly counter service, and $8.49 got me a huge Brisket sammich, nice amount of moist meaty goodness, and added jalapeños and warm BBQ sauce, with a side (I chose Mac and Cheese) and a fountain drink! Major value these days! The Mac was cheesy and piping hot, not superb, but better than other Mac's I've tried. Husband got a Bacon C'Burger with Fries. He enjoyed that, acknowledging it was a big burger! I also splurged for a small order of peach cobbler, and hubby and I agreed it was delish, and not super sickening sweet! Fantastic lunch guys!!

It was alright. I liked the brisket but I wish it was seasoned more. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were not that great, everything lacked some seasoning. Barbeque sauce was delicious though and came warm. For the price though it wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't come back.

5 stars! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff, who was friendly and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about what was on order and really helpful with making recommendations! The facilities are clean and well-furnished, and the Edison lights provide a nice atmosphere to the dining room. As for the food, there is a generous choice of sides of classic Americana and southern tastes. I tried the brisket burger and it was so good! The portions were gigantic; I could hardly finish my burger and had to take the remainder of my onion rings home. The onion rings taste like they're hand-breaded and fried here on the spot, and it is so fresh compared to store-bought. They cater as well, so I know who's got the food covered when my birthday rolls around!

I ordered from grubhub and paid $30 for a 3 meat combo plate, with Brisket Chopped chicken and ribs. The Brisket was dry, the Chopped chicken was re-heated and unedable the ribs were way over cooked. The sides of beans and potato salad were delicious, but I literally fell like I just paid $30 for 2 sides...

No flavor in meat, bad atmosphere, mexican music, should not be labeled as BBQ, maybe Tex mex. Service was mediocre at best, help yourself and bus your own tables.
