Normally I hate brussel sprouts. But donkey mo's has me changing my mind! Whatever sauce they use on these sprouts is delicious! They just might be the sauce kings. Their soy garlic sauce is exactly that-- the perfect combo of soy sauce and garlic, thicker consistency, not too overwhelming. The type of sauce I'd like to buy in bulk! Holy donkey sauce is just the right amount of spice for me, a spice wimp. Sweet & sour sauce was also good. And the chicken!!! We got 10 wings and the KJ thigh nuggets. Crunchy outside, moist inside. Was so starving I didn't take a photo. Enjoying my leftovers as I write! Now back to my food lol

As someone who grew up in South Korea, I have high expectations for Korean fried chicken, and Donkey Mo's didn't disappoint! I ordered the 12 KJ Thigh Nuggets in Sweet and Spicy, and they were absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy, and coated with just the right amount of sauce that balanced sweetness with a spicy kick. It reminded me of the flavors you'd find at street food stands back home, which made me nostalgic in the best way.I also got the Korean chicken moo (pickled white radish) which was okay. While it was crisp and refreshing, I found it lacking in the tangy vinegar punch that gives it the authentic flavor I'm used to. A little more acidity would make it spot-on for those familiar with the real thing. For the price, Donkey Mo's offers a generous portion of food, making it a great value. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone craving a taste of Korea, whether you're familiar with the cuisine or trying it for the first time. It's worth a visit!

There was a short wait and a simple menu. I ordered the soy garlic chicken wings with sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was the perfect mix of salty and savory. The spicy sauce on the side was the perfect addition. There's not that much seating so I wouldn't come here during rush hour with a big group. This place is definitely worth going to if you are craving Korean chicken wings.

I came in with a couple friends and overall felt it was good Korean fried chicken. You can choose two different sauces for the 10 piece wings or 20 piece nuggets, so I had the wings in soy garlic and sweet and spicy. My friend got the nuggets and it seemed like way more than 20 pieces so I think that was really worth it. The breading is super crispy despite the drizzle of sauces. The sweet and spicy was surprisingly not very spicy at all but flavorful. Of the sides, we tried the corn and the cole slaw. The corn was sweet but kind of plain and I liked the slaw but felt the portion was a bit small. One thing missing is Korean friend chicken places often give pickled radish with an order of fried chicken which they don't give here. Service was friendly enough and the seating area is nice. There aren't any condiments to self serve though.

They know how to fry things really well. Onions rings and chicken were soooo incredibly crunchy. The onions rings come with ranch and you can add more ranch for 50 cents but I recommend you don't because the ranch tastes like it's gone bad. We got the 20 thigh nuggets with the soy garlic and the donkeys mo's spicy sauce on the side of naked ones. The soy garlic was sweet and kinda lacked the garlic flavor but it was solid dipped into the spicy sauce. The spicy sauce was okay spice wise and I liked that I could dip and control how much I was getting but the chicken kinda lacked some flavor/the sauce didn't really have much flavor. It was acidic like tabasco kinda. I wish they had a couple more sauce options. Creamed corn is delectable. Overall good price for the food and I'd like to try the french fries and the churros next time.

Went up to Austin area for work and wanted to try out something different and what better place than one called Donkey MO's right? Located off Airport Blvd not far off 35 made it super convenient for me. Noticed this Korean Fried Chicken place on Yelp and read the reviews I had to come and personally try it for myself! Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and asked if I was ready to order and told them it was my first time and was reading off the menu. The gentleman recommended the Jumbo Wings in which is their specialty and I must say it did not disappoint! I chose sweet and spicy for my palette and being the fried chicken connoisseur I was eager to take that first bite! Jumbo juicy and crispy chicken engulfed my tastebuds with sweet and spicy tang it made my mouthwater hankering for more! Paired well with their crispy fries and ice cold Pepsi can't go wrong, I truly got my Korean Fried Chicken craving knocked out! The music and laid back atmosphere makes it for comfy casual feel. I highly recommend you give Donkey Mo's a try, I cannot wait to return when in the Austin area, also their draft selection is a plus too!!

This quaint restaurant in the heart of Austin is definitely worth your time and tastebuds. The Korean fried chicken was so crispy, juicy, and amazing. They have totally unique side sauces to either be poured over the chicken or enjoyed on the side.(The garlic soy sauce was amazing). The two women taking orders were so sweet and helpful, I will definitely be making a return visit to Donkey Mo's!

THE BIG: Located in North Loop and in a small quaint shop. Very industrial inside and functional. Few seats inside and a bar. Plenty of parking available in the lot.THE BLACK AND WHITE: Honestly, one of the best Korean fried chicken spots in Austin. Ordering is simple at the front, you grab your number and sit down or take out. We got the 6pc KFC soy garlic wings boned. They have thigh nuggets, however I'm more boned in guy. I think it's juicier. We weren't able to do half and half on the 6 pc however, the 10 pc, you can do half and half with other sauces. That'll be the move next time. The wings when they came out was nice and hot. They were also big and plump with great flavors!THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall for a 6 pieces KFC soy garlic wing it was around $18. Very delicious and I'll definitely be back to try some other stuff on their menu.

Best Korean style chicken in Austin! Just two chicken tenders (with honey spice sauce) is enough food for a meal. I also love their onion rings as they are both greasy but rather have a perfect crust.

Donkey Mo's has easily become THE go-to place whenever I'm craving Korean Fried Chicken! I love how big and juicy their wings and legs are without compromising on a crispy outer texture. Although the sauce options may be a bit more limited than some other Korean Fried Chicken places (such as bb.q Chicken), their Soy Garlic and Holy Donkey flavors really stand out. The Holy Donkey flavor in particular is unique to the restaurant and their spiciest option that's available, so if you can handle the heat, you'll absolutely love this sauce! They also have various sides from pickled white radish and fries to fried pickles and onion rings, which have never disappointed me either. The service is relatively quick so if you end up ordering in-person, it really shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes for your order! If you're debating trying this place out for the first time, I truly recommend it for your next Korean Fried Chicken craving! :)
