Just missed happy hour, so had dinner instead. Had the chicken karage appetizer. Tender and the sauce was spicy and delicious. Bison burger was very good. Not the best burger ever but hit the spot. Wife had the rainbow trout which was cooked in a delicious sauce. Service was friendly, informative and excellent. Wish the WiFi worked though. Overall a very good experience. Would return.

I've been wanting to try The District for a while, so I was excited to discover there's one conveniently located closer to me in South Austin. I visited for brunch with a party of eight after spotting some Cajun-inspo dishes on the menu. I love a good tableware, as it adds to the finer details of my dining experience. I was impressed to see that The District pays attention to this, using beautiful pieces throughout. For the table, we started with the Bacon Beignets, though unfortunately, the dough was a bit denser than what I expected. For myself, I ordered the Tuna Poke & The Boudin Omelette. I was impressed with both the flavor and quality of both items. My partner ordered the Banana Bread French Toast, and I couldn't get enough of this sweet treat.Overall, I'm impressed!!

I've eaten here several times over the years. It seems to have changed management many times. In the early days, I would recognize the host or some of the waiters but now it seems to be new folks almost every time, but maybe I'm not going at the same time. I love they have HH until 7pm and most times it's easy to grab a spot at the bar or nearby! Their outside patio is great for those spring and fall days for brunch or evening.I'm also glad they started opening for lunch during the week as it's another good option to suggest for work lunches. I've accidentally suggested meeting there in the past for lunch only to show up to find out they were closed for lunch.I met a gal I work with for lunch here a couple weeks ago and tried the oysters which were great! Waiter was very attentive even though we were the only folks sitting outside that day. He made sure we got our order in prior to a big table putting their in so we wouldn't have to wait too long. Met a friend recently for a last minute HH and enjoyed their HH wine and appetizer options at the bar. Look forward to future HH's and meals there!

Excellent food! We had delivered for the first time and the service was almost as good as being there. We we had the Panko chicken (order an extra sauce as it y delicious). Also we had the Cheese Shells, which were excellent, but we added extra black pepper and Tabasco as we like the heat. It was delivered quickly and very hot. If you get the cheese shells that is plenty to split. Well done!

My Partner and I loved the lighting and the layout. The Jalapeño Cheddar Bread and the Caesar Salad were great starters. The Texas Wagyu Steak and the Bolognese were tasty and cooked well. To finish off the night, we got the Crème Brûlée Brownie which was so so delicious. We would come again and highly recommend. Shoutout to Megan for the amazing recommendations, she was a great server! Thanks for taking care of our dinner night for Valentine's!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful brunch at District Kitchen and Cocktail in the Circle C in Austin. This upscale restaurant combines a sophisticated ambiance with a family-friendly vibe, making it perfect for any occasion. We started with the bacon beignets, which were a delicious mix of sweet and savory, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They were a big hit with all of us, including our little one.For entrees, my wife had the southwest power bowl, a vibrant and satisfying mix of quinoa, black beans, corn, and avocado, all tied together with a zesty dressing. I opted for the bison burger, adding bacon and a side salad. The burger was juicy and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the smoky bacon. The fresh and crisp side salad balanced the rich burger nicely. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. District Kitchen and Cocktail is a standout in Circle C, offering delicious food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

mMMmmmmmmMMMmmmmMmM just looookkkkk at that gorgeous sandwich and fries. It was so big and hearty and the bread was toasted to a perfect crisp but it wasn't too crispy to the point where you have to brace yourself because one bite is going to absolutely destroy your mouth. This sandwich had prosciutto, arugula, tomato, sharp cheddar, and roasted garlic aioli on grilled sourdough bread This was really filling and I barely finished it.

I had the duck breast tonight only because I love duck. It was cooked to perfection but it was a tough duck breast to eat. Plus I really didn't like what was served with it. It seems it didn't pair with the duck. This item was a special on the menu a hold over from new years.
