One of the iconic Austin restaurants that is still standing. Good ole burger and onion rings. If you are visiting Austin, you don't want to miss.Sooner or later, all of our iconic restaurants will be goners and new expensive modern ones will take over, unfortunately.

What can I say about Dirty Martin's that hasn't been said before?I don't understand the lower rated reviews. I think some folks just don't get the concept of this legendary burger joint.I've never had a bad meal or drink here.The onion rings are cooked in a batter that's makes them not too heavy and not too light.On top of all of the good food, it's pretty cool when the employees chat you up and sincerely what to have conversation. Even when they're super busy!

An Austin institution! Can't believe I had never been. Easy and ample parking, gotta live that. Counter order. Easy and fast. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Indoor and outdoor seating. They offer daily specials. Burger was good, the fried pickle slices were great!! Check it out.

I have finally found my favorite burger spot in Austin! This place, while having a small menu, has enormous taste!! I ordered the double cheeseburger with a fried egg and it was PERFECT! The egg was cooked perfectly so it wasn't dripping down the burger, the patty was cooked great and filled with flavor all while being not too salty. It got a side of Jalapeño ranch and it was so spicy! I loved it, definitely one of my favorite places for the ranch. The Dirty Tatchos were a little small, but that was no problem. From the first bite I was hooked! I don't know what seasoning they used on the mean but everything mixed together; the meat, the tater tots, the cheese, it was so good!. The friend pickles with ranch were good but they tasted so much better in the spicy ranch. The onion rings were not a little thin and that was perfect. Most places I've been to have onion rings that are breaded so much and it's like I taste nothing but the batter but not these. So good! When you walk into the place, you get in line and they have a menu placed in front of you to check out and it goes pretty quick. The cashier was super friendly and answered our questions. I'll definitely be coming back to this place and you guys should too!!

It's a classic, and Capital Metro should be ashamed of themselves for even threatening to knock it down. Dirty's is 97 years old and still going strong. The burger is as you would expect, a well cooked and no frills experience that meets all expectations. It hasn't changed in the 23 years I have lived here. Make sure to add some grilled onions, it takes the whole thing to eleven. The onion rings are a little too greasy, but I wasn't coming here for health food.Oh, and the people that work here are always incredibly nice. Perfect for families.

Burgers were bomb. $10 Sunday mimosa carafe got the mood set right. Service is counter service and table number style. Ambiance is 98 year old iconic Texas burger joint. Prices were pretty reasonable. I will definitely be back. Dirty queso was delish as well.

A good cheap homemade whither you can't go wrong here. It's held its ground for a reason it has definitely earned its stay on the drag. Workers can be helpful and friendly. The inside is pretty cool also

over $17 for a burger, fries, and a drink. my food is ice cold because nobody told me it was ready. i wasn't gonna ask for a refire because i had already wasted 20 minutes waiting on food that was down 15 minutes ago.

This is right now my favourite burger place in Austin. Call it nostalgia or not but I had a revisit after a decade and it feels like tradition to go. The burger was rich with flavor and perfectly salted. I could take a bath in the onion rings.
