Wow! My husband and I found this gem while driving towards Houston from San Antonio area. It feels like Texas as soon as you walk in- southern decor, fresh barbecue smells. I was very pleased with how clean the restaurant was and how nice the staff were. I'm pretty sure they were the owner and owners family. Thank you all for making me and my husband feel so welcome and we will definitely be back if we're ever in town.Their fresh bbq line stops at 3 pm right now and their store closes at 5 pm but they still had sandwiches and sausages available for purchase which was nice!

$14 got me 3 extraordinarily mediocre and undersized breakfast tacos, with equally mediocre salsa.The taquitos weren't weren't terrible, but they sure weren't worth the money. You're better off going to Buckee's or a Mexican restaurant than wasting your money here.

They started off by giving our Beagle brisket scraps without us asking or prompting. We were immediately impressed by that. The food was great and they had beer on tap, great beer to go selections and great drink options. The friendly service was the cherry on top. We will definitely stop by this hidden gem again.

Ok. Where do I begin? It's a gas station. Not a restaurant. Don't think because they have the billboard on interstate 10 you'll find a fancy sit down eatery. The service here is abysmal. They have children working the service line. Nobody is following any safety guidelines. No one wears a mask. Period. Gloves were optional. While they do have a serving line it's not their primary concern. They are busier checking out customers from the store side. The food. Hey. The brisket wasn't bad. The ribs were awful. The sausage was good. The sides are ok. I guess for our here in the middle of nowhere it serves a purpose. I won

Goss BBQ is delicious! The brisket is always moist and tasty. Melts in your mouth! The chicken has that smoky yumminess that puts a smile on my face every time. But I've had breakfast here, too. It's hard to make biscuits and gravy that are as good as my grandmother's but they do! Their bacon is tasty, and one of their coffee flavors is dark, tasty, and gives you a quick kick in the butt. The owners are very kind, and Mr. Goss will chat with you if he's not doing tasks around the store. This is also a gas station and corner store, but it has indoor and outdoor tables for people to sit and eat. Most of the people coming in know each other, and will hang out and chat. Good food, good people!

On our way from Chicago to kingsville we stopped and got a variety of meats and sides... let me say I am impressed with portions and flavor of all meats.Glad we stopped in on this inconspicuous location.A True Hidden Gem

Having fuel has been hit and miss lately. Mostly miss. Service is getting better when the right people are working. Some make you think they are doing you a favor being open. The store hours posted are a joke. BBQ is awesome thank God.
