Desi Dhaba

A bit confusing at first, there are a bunch of different truck that I believe are connect to each other. Service was lacking in quality. The food however was definitely tasty. I thought the seating they had set up was super fun!

You know the place is legit when you're the only non-Indian customers and the place is always packed! This is hands down the best chaat I've had since I was in India in 2010. It was so good that we got some to go after our meal. We also tried the Burg Malai Boti and the Beef Bihari Boti- both were delicious. The beef dish packed more flavor and the chicken dish was mild.Aside from the tasty food, the atmosphere is so chill! It is all outdoor seating and it's right next to a convenience store that sells cold beer. Can it get any better than legit Indian street food and cold beer while sitting outdoors on a nice night?! This made for an awesomely chill date night with my husband.I love discovering little gems like this one! Will be telling all our neighbors to check it out. So far, this is my fave Indian food in Cedar Park/Leander area.

Went to Desi Dabha for the first time. Excellent food and friendly service. Will definitely go back again.

I'd suggest you call, they are sometimes open late, we went there after 10 and they still accommodated us.Amazing scene since it's outdoor, gives you that Indian dhaba vibes. Nothing is from pack, they Make their kababs there even their parathas. We ordered paratha, Rumali roti and tawa ghost with few Kababs. Everything was just amazing.I recently tried their bun kabab and swear to god that's the best bun kabab I ever had in my life. They make it like a burger with a sweet chutney added inside the bun, the bun is just like how we have back in mother land- little sweet and very soft. This is full on dhaba style vibe where you sometimes might have to wait or just eat in the car. They have a lot of dessert options as well, I tried their pakora lassi but it was ok, I am going to try something else to explore more. My friend had bhejo fry and he loved it. Must try. I'll be going back soon.

Delicious Food. Feels like a real dhaba. Tried tikka, bun kabab, karhai and bihari boti. Everything was good. Bun kabab is a must try.

We went for a family dinner. Upon arriving, we got in line to place our order and we were told to sit at a table and the host would come take our order since we were dining there. She didn't come for about 30mins. We then ordered our food. We got 3 apps about 30mins later. Our samosas came out frozen, we notified them and they remade a second batch which came out frozen on the inside as well. The 3 chicken apps we tried were okay., nothing mind blowing. We ordered dinner 10mins after ordering our apps because we realized the service was slow, after waiting another 1 hour we asked for an update, we're told it will be out in 2 mins. After another 15mins, we asked for another update, we were told 2-3 minutes. We waited another 10mins and realized they never started to make our order. We told them to cancel our order which there was confusion as to what order.We basically sat for over 2.5 hrs and didn't even end up with food to eat. UPDATED RESPONSE: We ordered saag, dal fry, 2 orders of basmati rice, 2 orders of butter chicken, 3 paratha, and 3 naan for dinner which we never got. Denise came to review our receipt of our order to check what we received, we told her we only got the apps and she stated that she wanted to confirm so "we don't get a part of someone else's order". If you wanna tell the full story please be honest. Yes we had beers, BYOB, there is no sign at your location that this is not the case. We got apps which I noted in the review above. We tried to pay at the end with Denise and Ali before leaving, neither of you gave us the time of the day. Still we felt bad and wanted to pay for apps however you stated "it's on house". We didn't "eat for free", when your customers offer to pay and you don't genuinely want it to "be on the house" then maybe take the payment. Although it doesn't seem like my experience was that different from multiple customers on yelp.

Finally was able to get some food. Food is amazing. We ordered the following items Bun Kabab - Must try Butter Chicken - Must try super delicious one of the best in the city Chapali Kabab - Kabab was cooked to perfection. Beef Bihari botti Kabab - average Naan/ Paratha Food wise the rating is 5/5 Management is all over the place assigning tables to the customers. Some customers arrive and just grab tables with no correction from the management. Need to improve customer service/ management

Love, love, love!!!!Finally, there is a place in Austin which serves the authentic North Indian butter chicken! And finally, a place in Austin which is serving roomali roti Their white gravy chicken is good too! Great flavors, we enjoyed ever last bite. Some of the reviewers were a bit harsh, so if you're in a rush be sure to order ahead of time.

Great environment with superb food worth it to wait definitely come back with more friends
