I live in Austin, but, you know, COVID times. Growing up in Austin, there was a place called Hunan that always had a hidden menu with Jajangmyeon () and Tangsuyuk () that was extremely delicious. My mom had some crazy cravings, so I Google'd all over Austin, and this was the closest to her home, so I chanced it (had some solid reviews on Google). Our Order: - Tangsuyuk- Gan Jajangmyeon x 2- Veggie Fried Rice Pros:- Easy parking in the H-Mart lot - Easy to find- Food came out quickly- Gentleman up-front was nice- Open food court (COVID-prepped)- Simple menu - No line (COVID times)Cons:- Tangsuyuk is over-priced - Jajangmyeon's sauce - No Bueno- Food overall is subpar - To-go order didn't have any sidesJust not good, to be honest. I agree with some of the earlier reviews regarding the quality needs to be upgraded. Let me get into who the food was subpar.Tangsuyuk - something about the breading was off; overly chewy and was missing something, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I had many variations growing up, and this missed the mark. The meat was dehydrated, as if it was sitting out, but was likely indicative of it coming out so quickly (food court food, I know, you pay for what you get, but it's $18!). Gan Jajangmyeon - a couple of dollars more in price, you would think it would be AMAZE. Please look at my picture, as the sauce will foreshadow what happens next: a bad meal. The noodles weren't bad, not overly chewy, but it wasn't the best I've ever had, like Drake would say. The sauce had a heavy onion flavor and scent that overpowered what I am used to. The meat ratio to onions, well, the meat lost, haha. Also, no potatoes or something as filler? Veggie Fried Rice - bland and the veggies were overcooked. That's it for this one. SummaryNot the place for me, but if I were in college, it would do the job. Los Angeles has spoiled my taste, so it's a no for me. Every dish was subpar, and I would not spend my money here until they up the quality. I'm happy to change my rating, but I'd need a tasting, which I don't think will happen soon. Cheers!

I've only ordered jajangmyeon (black bean noodles with pork and cabbage) from here. And it satisfies my craving every time. The noodles are chewy and the sauce is great! It is thick and hearty, coats every noodle and contains (from what I can tell) onion, pork, and cabbage. Jajangmyeon sauce can be made many different ways and this matches Korean jajangmyeon sauce I have had my whole life. The only thing that would help make it more "authentic" for me would be to add julienned cucumber. The portion is a good size and really is enough for two meals. But I've never had jajangmyeon taste as good the next day so all the more reason to eat it all fresh. :)I usually order this to go so am not sure if any side dishes come with it other than yellow pickled radish. I've seen this classified as an appetizer at other Korean restaurants so that may be why it doesn't come with other banchan (side dishes). Service is friendly and my waits are typically 10-15 mins. My buzzer went off while shopping in an aisle so it's got a good range. I recommend picking up some prepackaged banchan and kimchi while you wait for a DIY feast!

There is a sign that states this business is now closed. How unfortunate during these times but another noodle place is being opened up so hopefully they will still have Jajangmyeon because it was the only place that served this at HMART! My kids love it and it was the only item we ever purchased from here. Blessings to the new restaurant that comes in!

Not bad for Round Rock. Got the jjajangmyeon and it was delicious. Hand made noodles and the sauce was savory. The only gripe is portion size. It's not that big and normally with Chinese-Korean style food you're suppose to receive family style portions. In any case, the food came out quick and it was nice eating inside H-Mart. I would eat here again.

This place sucked! Order the spicy seafood noodle soup (jjampong) and they are cheap with ingredients. Only 3 pieces of squid and not much in there. And the noodle was cooked a bit too long, too. I rarely give a 1-star rating but this place really doesn't deserve to get anymore customers until they learn how to cook properly and not be cheap with what they put it. It even says "seafood" jjampong. At least take that word out if you are going to be that stingy.

The fried rice and omlette rice are a rip off. Tasteless, bland, plain rice with nothing in it.

This place is the only Korean/Chinese food around where I live. The complaints I read was quantity of food. I've eaten here even shared food with family and it was plenty. If you want double portion, buy more. Is that simple. What do you expect from food court? Flavor is great on all of their items in the menu. Their food has a rare open flame flavor which is hard to find even in California. Definitely thumbs up to this place.

Ordered Tangsuyuk and Gan Jajang online. The Jajangmyun sauce was too watery instead of the thick regular Jajangmyun sauce, and the noodle was cold. Tangsuyuk was $18.95, but the portion was way too small for the price. Very disappointed. would never order from this place again.

I have never left a negative review but Omelet rice (Omurice) was the WORST I had in my LIFE! For $14, I was expecting a decent food but boy was I wrong. Rice was hard, blend, had no flavor what so ever. Inside there was couple small pieces of carrots and that's it nothing else. I am writing this review so with hopes that the owner will see this and make some changes!!! Their Jjamppong was OK.

Ordered the general two's chicken which is hard to mess up. The breading was crunchy without being too thick or hard, and they gave a good amount of sauce. The rice was a bit hard. Because of the price to value, I would not buy this again but I would eat it again if it was bought for me.
