Dan's Hamburgers

Quick breakfast on the way back to Houston. Great service. The food was good, Dan's is know for the breakfast tacos and burgers. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Potato, egg and cheese taco 10/10: first off, one taco will suffice. Huge portions and very flavorful. The salsa was very good! Ala carte: Bacon, Biscuits and hash browns 10/10

Was in the area and wanted to pick something up on the way home and the Dan's sign popped up.Jalapeno Cheeseburger - good quality burger, the cheese was nice and melted, the buns were well toasted, the ingredients tasted fresh overall. Pretty top tier for fast food burgers.Fries - fries were too soggy, and unseasoned. I really should've opted for the curly fries because I accidentally got one of those in my bag of regular fries and it was much better.

First time eating here. Was very impressed with the serving size of the fries. Huge burger too!I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in town for Cabela's

Dan's is an Austin legend. I've been eating there since the '70's. Service was friendly and immediate. It's a clean simple burger joint. I had regular burger with cheese and bacon either French fries. The fries were fresh and hot. It was great.

Still great food after all these years as one of the few remaining old Austin restaurants that still exist through all of the rapid development and exponential growth Austin has seen in the last 35 years. The service is great, and the restaurant is comfortable. If you want a good burger, as well as trip down memory lane at a restaurant that still stands the tests and challenges of time, you need to try or even revisit Dan's Hamburgers. They have earned the business they get for many, many decades. I am so glad they still exist. Not many old Austin establishments do. Please give them a try or revisit as often as you can. I know they appreciate all of their customers.

Came here a year ago and loved it, went today and wow, absolutely terrible, super dry and thin burgers, pulled out hair from the food, absolutely horrible, would give 0 stars if I could

This morning we went for breakfast as we had not been here for breakfast in awhile and it was great. We had western omelette hash browns wheat toast and coffee with biscuits and gravy with sausage and egg. It was hit fresh timely and we were waited on quickly and efficiently. The area was clean and well kept. A great place for breakfast and lunch for sure.
