I had seen Curry Up Now on Uber Eats but decided to go in person to try it out. I went the day after Thanksgiving since I was at the Domain anyways. They were severely understaffed :( the wait time for the food was 30 minutes but I didn't mind waiting. I got my food pretty quickly but my friends food took a while. Once we got it, we realized it had chicken inside but we had ordered vegetarian food. It was a bit disappointing to have to wait more time for the food but they made it pretty quickly. Taste wise though, the food was good not great. I think I need to give this place another chance though because it has good ratings, I think I went on a busy day.

Food was delish!! Portions are super generous too! The flavor was giving and the spice was on point!! I love Indian food and I love spice but I don't like it to over power my food... this spot got it just right!Service was pretty quick for a lunch time stop in... it took just a minute to take my order but it seemed liked the crew may have been catching up as I walked up...For an Indian "street food" stop I think the price point was a little high but it's expected in Austin these days... I didn't mind the $20 bowl, I took plenty home and the food was really good!

Colorful and fun, with a good concept of quick-service sit down or takeaway Indian fusion. I just wish the food lived up to the fun ambience. Naan chips were so dry! Too dry to soak up any sauce. Like eating a cracker. The Butter Chicken Biryani was also disappointing and dry. The presentation was fun but the parchment wrapped rice and chicken was so dry, not enough sauce. I did like the spicy level! Just wish it was easier to enjoy but the dryness made it difficult. Not sure I would come back.

The portions were larger than expected. There is some heat to the no-spice-level indicated entrees. You can order at the counter to go or sit down at a table and order with your phone. The menu has beautifully-visual pictures and good descriptions for each dish. Our lamb burrito had no visible meat chunks (unlike the picture where you can see chunks of lamb meat in the burrito). It tasted like lamb-spiced rice, which tasted nice and flavored but we were missing the value of the meat in the huge rice burrito. I loved the chana garbanzo masala in our chicken masala bowl but felt like the fryums were an unnecessary colorful visual addition in the dish.

This place serves some Indian street food and also Indian fusion. I got the mini samosas and chicken tikka masala burrito, and the fusion aspect just didn't work for me. I usually like Indian curries because of how saucy they are--perfect for eating with rice or dipping naan--but in burrito form, there was barely any sauce. I think it could've been upleveled with a side of curry to dip or pour over the burrito, but by itself it was too dry and not flavorful enough for me.

This is an order at the counter kind of place at Rock Rose in the Domain. For the kind of place it is and the service as well as the food I enjoyed, I gave this place 5 stars.I was in India for 3 weeks this year and was craving pani puri which they have. It was so good. I went with a tikka paneer burrito and a chai as well. The burrito was huge and had great flavor. Medium spice on the burrito which was perfect. The chai needed a little sweet for me but it came with sugar on the side to add as I pleased. After my meal they brought out a complementary Gulab Jamun. We used to have some on from my work make this every year for us and the Curry Up Now Gulab Jamun was so tasty. I felt so welcomed by the staff and they checked on me during my meal. I would come back again because there are lots of things I want to try on the menu if not just for the pani puri because I love it so much on a hot day.

Wanted a light lunch and Indian food did that. I had the khati roll which the naan egg combo was delicious with chicken. I'd get that again.Got the waffle fries and chose the tikka sauce vs ketchup which was addictingThe bhel was nice and light and healthy with the chick peas and sweet sauce. You order via QR code on the table but service was quick and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I'd go back with my family to try more.

Indian street food restaurant at the Domain! Nice addition. We ordered the mini samosas, meat sweats and lamb burrito and naan. If you're ordering in, you'll definitely need a to-go box because the portions are big.

This served as a nice snacking spot in between shopping and dinner. Our dinner wasn't until much later and I really wanted chat. The samosa chat comes with tiny samosas that look like dotted butter on a pie before you baking ... jk. But the samosas are really tiny and surround the chat. The fried paneer that is their version of ravioli is delicious paired with the sauce that would normally accompany butter chicken. If I am hungry and in the area I would definitely stop by.My favorite thing of the day while dining here was their $1 chai that comes with Parle-G. Nothing beats that nostalgic feeling of chai with those biscuits (tea crackers for all you folks who don't know about biscuits being the real g). Service was attentive. The decor is extreme pop art. The menu was a little hard to read but they also have menus by the cashier stand.

Came in for a quick fill up while strolling the domain. Cool concept and vibes. Loved the artwork and decor. The food, was good, but nothing to rave about. Had the pani puri and some samosas! Both were good. But the samosas were a little lacking in filling imo. Also, I don't know what was going on but there were fruit flies everywhere around me. Kept having to swap them away. The place was clean so not sure what the deal was but it wasn't a comfy experience. Regardless, a cool spot to get a boost of flavor in you.
