We stopped by last Sunday around noon. They were on a limited menu for their brunch. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero over medium. Perfect for a nice breakfast. I was full and didn't feel stuffed. The mole was a tad salty but it had a great flavor. I did enjoy joy my brunch.The service was excellent. Our server came by several times to ensure we were doing well. If you haven't been to the Cru it is small but not too small. It is sort of intimate. There is outdoor seating and when the weather is nice the doors are opened so it looks like the dining area is big.I have been here before and I have enjoyed my meals. Sorry, I didn't take pics this time.

Food was terrible, especially considering the price. The Wagyu meatballs taste odd and have a weird texture. The lobster rigatoni had very little flavor and the sauce was too thin. I would only go for the wine flights and charcuterie boards. I like the aesthetic they had with the interior, but the music was too quiet making it a bit awkward. And... service wasn't great. Felt rushed to order and didn't feel very welcome.

I have an affinity for this place because it was one of the first wine bars we found when we moved to Texas.... They have a good selection of wines, a nice environment and their food offerings are good too. One thing I had unfortunately noticed is that over several months and a few visits, the service has slipped a bit and the thing we liked most, bellying up to the bar and chatting up the bartenders during our time there, has pretty much not been a thing during our last few visits. Hopefully it's been a fluke and the bar service comes back. We'll certainly come back... there is something there for sure!

Got a cheese plate to start to go with something different over bruschettas. Chose 4 pieces of cheese and it comes with spreads and bread which made for a good start to appetizersThey had flights of wine but I went with a glass, the margarita pizza was delicious. Nice and thin and hot out of the oven.Service was great and on point where I never felt rushed. The aura was traditional with wine bottles on a wall and outdoor dining but too cold to sit outside

Recently visited CRU for a boozy brunch with my girlfriends, and had such a blast! We ordered carafes of the Blood Peach Bellini and Bellini Cipriani to share. Loved these drinks! They were strong and delicious. Our server was awesome and gave us an extra round of drinks since it was my birthday! We ordered a few items to share:1. Smoked Salmon Board - I thought this was ok but a little bit of a letdown for the steep price. Nothing special or unique that I couldn't make at home.2. Spinach and Artichoke Gratin - loved this! Great dish to share; a nice sized portion of cheesy goodness! The flatbread it was served with was the perfect accompaniment and very fresh! 3. Cobb Salad - pretty good, the buttermilk fried chicken pieces were especially tasty! 4. Peat & Gorgonzola Pizza - only had a slice to taste. I don't love Gorgonzola cheese in general so this wasn't my favorite but my friends enjoyed it!I'd say the drinks and appetizers are the best part of CRU's menu. I will be back for a wine flight and a charcuterie board in the future!

CRU has a huge wine cellar and so many wines to choose from as per your tastes. Our server was warm and knowledgeable and made suggestions for us.We chose the world tour wine flight and enjoyed the different red wines.The patio is well lit and the cool breezy air that day really made the experience even better.

Reviewing after first visit: *the Service: Good. They only had one employee during our visit. She was the hostess, waitress, and bartender! Felt bad for her but we were not in a hurry so we were patient although I did see people leave. Although she was trying her best this made for a very slow service. *the Food: we ordered a wine flight. Was told they rad out of one if the reds. apps: pizza, calamari, tartare, goat cheese-twice. portions were inconsistent. Knocked only one star for these 2 things We will definitely go back for the goat cheese! See pics.

Very small and quaint establishment for a quick bite. They had a very extensive wine menu and even have wine flights. The food we had was delicious. We had the meatballs, salmon dish, black truffle pizza and ceasar salad. The menu has a lot of items you can share so we did. The pricing was also reasonable too. Our server was very attentive and the water attendant kept our glasses full from the time we sat down. My friend had to wave him off for her lol. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The food, drinks, and atmosphere were excellent. 10/10. However, the service is not up to standard. The host isn't very bright, my boyfriend called to get a reservation for 8, she kept asking the same questions 3 times (what the name was, how many people, what time, etc). Then she said it was booked until 9. I went online and there were many slots available from 7:30-9. So I booked it for 8:15... Next, our waitress wasn't great. She was okay, but not very friendly and she kept rushing us. Of course, we took our time. But I don't like to be rushed. We informed the restaurant and the waitress that it was our anniversary, but didn't receive anything for it. (So why ask during the reservation?) overall, amazing food but please hire new staff.

Came here for the Thanksgiving dinner and I wasn't too impressed. The lobster risotto didn't taste very fresh but I still ate it. The other dishes didn't taste that fresh either. After I got home, my stomach felt upset. Not sure if I would come back. But worth a try.
