Food truck/smokehouse located at Deep Eddy oaks. You order via a QR code on tables inside the DE bar or event space. Ordering client can be a little tricky. Then they bring your food to a counter inside the main door and text you when it's on its way. Ours was filled with reasonable promptness. We only had the pork belly burnt ends and a side of beans (they were out of potato salad). The pork belly bites were appropriately crusty and fatty. They are rich, but, if you are disinclined to fat, order something else. We enjoyed them and would order more of their smoked offerings. The beans were disappointing however. Not sure if they were canned but strongly suspect it. Can't recommend those. CCS also offers various carry out options ordered in advance. We were sufficiently impressed with with pork belly treatment that we'll probably try that option next for dinner or a gathering.

Exceptional BBQ, excellent service, agreeable setting. Stopped by this place after hearing rave reviews. (Note: You can see in my reviews that I eat a LOT of BBQ, so I'm picky and this place didn't disappoint.)CCS is a trailer set up semi-permanently outside the Deep Eddy Vodka distillery, which means it has its own private lot (good!) though it'll fill up quickly with people visiting Deep Eddy (bad!). Come early to avoid the traffic and crowd. Tried the brisket (lean and fat) as well as their star menu item, the pork belly burnt ends. The brisket was excellent, with the right level of smoke and perfectly tender. However the standout was the pork belly, which were beautifully smoky and meaty cubes of goodness.Highly recommended! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below.5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here.4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary.3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad.2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here.1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

Yes yes, a thousand times yes!First of all, the people who work here could NOT have been nicer. They were totally charming. Now the food....oh the food. First, if the daily special is the smoked salmon dip ORDER IT! It was a 10/10!The brisket and pulled pork were also very good but the pork burnt ends were next level...I mean like 11/10.Also, the pulled pork baked potato was an epic event not to be missed but you'll need a small army to eat it.Definitely try this place out. You won't regret it.

Already disappointed with how bad the BBQ has been in Austin I decided to give another place a go & I thought it could get any worse... so I thought. - Brisket & Jalapeno Sausage with Mac & cheese 1/5:By far the worst BBQ I've had in a while & was shocked how this place had way too many 5 star reviews. The brisket was kind of cold & it was SOOOO DRY it also did not have any good flavor with it. Just shocked as to what I ate, I tried the jalapeno sausage at least that was warm & it tasted pretty good but not enough to save this plate. The mac & cheese was simply a disgrace to Macaroni & Cheese..... literally had no cheese???? I was literally eating dried shells with a hint of cheese sauce. What a joke if you called that Mac & Cheese, like come on man.....

Stopped by for a brisket sandwich and a baked potato topped with pulled pork. Both dishes were scrumptious and seasoned to perfection. The place has a cool vibe, resembling a revamped food truck parked next to a vodka distillery that also sells some merch. Generous portions and the friendliest staff you could ask for. Plus, scored some free stickers! Highly recommend!

Legit bbq, don't let the food truck deter you. Probably some of the best BBQ I've had (and there is a LOT in Texas.) Pork belly burnt ends are worth their weight in gold and the queso mac was heavenly. Excellent combination with the Deep Eddy Vodka tasting room. Makes for a fun afternoon of great food and beverages.

Staff was very friendly on all visits and the food was exceptional. I would recommend to anyone and if you like near, give the tomahawk a try, you need to order it a day in advance.

I agree with the previous reviewer, way too many 5 star reviews This place is actually one of the most disappointing BBQ places, other than the nice staff. The food was just absolutely flavorless. The ribs were too burnt and though the meat fell off the bone there was no flavor and brisket too had no flavor and there was no BBQ sauce to be found and none on the side. The Mac and cheese was like velvety shells and cheese but not as good. The Cole slaw ever was amazing just wish everything else was as good. Five stars for the star one star for the food.
