CraigO's Pizza & Pastaria

I love their pizza! It has a great crust and the sauce is a little tangy like I like it. It's definitely my go to pizza place now.

Tasty pizza with a really stellar texture. However, an XL cheese took over a half hour at 11:30am. They could have at least thrown in two free cookies or something. Also, they have Pepsi products which is quite lame.

We were in Austin for a Disney auction and we were looking for a place to eat before heading back to San Antonio. Our daughter found this spot. We love a good pizza. We had our 2 corgis with us and asked if we could sit outside with them and we were told that was cool. Lunch special was 1 large pizza for $12.99! Can't beat that. It was a nice day and we didn't mind sitting outside. We got our pizza and it was hot!! All 3 of us agreed that it was one of the best we have had in a while. It was foldable but not too flimsy,perfect number of pepperonis and the sauce had a great flavor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will stop by when we are in Austin again.

I was introduced to this place a couple years ago and have been coming for lunch off and on ever since.They have ridiculously economical lunch menu items. I usually get the pizza slice and salad, sometimes I'm hungry enough for the 2 slice special, which still comes in at $10.The caesar salad is pretty big and is good. The pizza slices are a good size. You can whatever toppings you want (yes, they are extra). Their pizza is pretty good though. Always crispy and tasty.Service has always been friendly. They seem to have a pretty stable staff, which I think is typically a good sign.All in all, a great, decently quick lunch spot. Hard to beat at the price. These days I think you're hard pressed to get a combo meal at a horrible fast food place for less. Win win.

I came here yesterday with Thing One and another party for lunch. It was my first time at this establishment because as most folks know as a former Sicilian resident, I really do not like going to so-called Italian restaurants that are really not Italian at all. However, with that said, I did not expect this location to offer true Italian food-- and it didn't.Minestrone Soup and Salad- I ordered this menu item. I love Minestrone soup because when done right, it is tasty and rich in fiber, which helps the intestines stay healthy. The minestrone here was made with fusilli. While the addition of fusilli is not the manner in which I am accustomed to having this dish, fusilli works well with any sauce, added to soups, or turned into a salad (so I'll allow it :0) ). The soup was hearty and had a decent flavor. The summer salad was made with blue cheese, walnuts, red onion and tomatoes. I enjoyed the fresh salad as it's hard to beat for simplicity. Calzone- My guest ordered this menu item and added jalapenos to it. My guest was pleased with this item. But, you won't catch me dead ordering something like this, EVER! These turnovers, made with leavened dough originated in Naples and as former Sicilian resident, this is not something that is popular there. It is true what they say.. Sicilians have their own way of doing things which are much different than things done in Rome, Naples, etc. Spaghetti and Meatballs-Thing One ordered this menu item. As a food truck and spaghetti aficionado, he deemed the sauce to be mediocre and the meat balls to be a "good attempt" at an Italian meatball. I sampled a piece of the meatball and could taste the oregano and other spices throughout. Overall, this was an okay meal. It wasn't true Italian but I did not expect it to be. The food was good for what it was.

There service is amazing, has the best food, excellent flavor the ambiance was great, the people who work there are great, and it is one of the best smelling places ever. 10/10 very much recommend

Oh my god this place is a mess. The employees here are so incompetent it hurts. I called to place an order (literally garlic bread) that I needed quickly and was calling 15 min out so they would have time. The first time I called they answered quickly and it was a guy with an accent but not a super strong one. I told him I wanted to place a pickup order and he told me to hold on and had a whole English conversation behind the phone with someone else about me and then hung up. So naturally I call back and they quite literally ignored my calls 5 times. Once I finally got ahold of them some lady comes on to tell me she stepped away and left the first man alone who speaks no English. So who was he having an English conversation with? Lady had an attitude with me because I told her I speak Spanish and he could've told me he struggled with English. Food is too mediocre to deal with those idiots.

Be sure and check you receipt if eat here. Last Saturday, we stopped at Craigo's on IH 35. I ordered a half chicken and avocado salad. It was good. I should have checked my receipt closer. A tip in the amount of $19.00 was added to my bill. That was a very expensive salad. I've emailed the manager and requested a refund of $19. I've had no response from the manager. I won't be stopping at Craigo's again!'

Amazing food. Arrived hot and on time. Every addition and request in our order followed to perfection. If you are looking for delicious traditional Italian pasta, you've found it. Look forward to trying the Italian beef.
