Cousins Maine Lobster - Austin

They came down to San Antonio today and I had to go try it and took a co-worker with me.I haven't eaten very much lobster so I can't really compare them to other resturants but I will say that what I had was very delicious.The guy recomended the Connecticut Roll and I also had a bowl of lobster bisque.The roll was chock-full of lobster and very rich. It was surprising how much it filled me up. My co-worker thought the same thing. At first he wasn't too keen on eating outside but was glad he went after we were finished.The bisque was also very tasty as well.I found out they come to SA every Sunday and are close to my work on the second Sunday. I'll definitely go back and try some of the other menu items.If you're not sure, just go. If you don't just know you're missing out.Funny thing is I had to go to New Braunfels this morning and passed them up on 35. I took it as a sign I had to go. Lol!

The food truck visited my apartment complex once more so of course I had to stop by. I got a Lobster Grilled Cheese ($21) again and a cup of Clam Chowder ($6). It surely did not disappoint. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you ever have the opportunity!

Expensive but such a yummy treat! We got the Connecticut roll and the lobster grilled cheese. I'd definitely get the Connecticut again and I'd love to try their other menu options.

Wonderfully succulent lobster rollMaine style--too bad it is Soooo tiny and expensive!! --But fabulous forAn occasional splurge! --ClamChowder was creamy and wholesome being Chockful of bits of clam--very tasty and filling and Only $6!! Had to get sandwich and chowder for a full meal since sandwich was so teeny weeny

It was good. It's why I'm giving it a 4. I just wish the roll was bigger. The rolls lobster places serve in Boston are expensive like this place but the roll is much bigger. And I get why the place is pricey and I def understand lobster is a premium product, I just still don't like feeling still hungry after I paid $22 for one item. Again though, the roll itself was delicious.

This food truck came to my apartment community and after 2 years of working with food truck vendors in coordinating schedules, I have eaten my fair share of food truck cuisine. The truck itself looked great and I'm always a fan of the added convenience, but I was incredibly underwhelmed by the quality of the food. We ordered lobster tail and tots as well as the clam chowder (gluten free!!) Unfortunately, the lobster tail was flavorless and the butter tasted unsalted (also flavorless). Perhaps it would have had more flavor if we were in Maine. As a lover of seafood, I was trying to show my sister how delicious lobster tail can be and this just further reinforced the idea for her that lobster is bland and not worth the money or effort. The tots were delicious and crispy, but so are tots from Sonic and other fast food locations. The clam chowder was good, but compared equally to my preferred brand of gluten free grocery store clam chowder. This was the third food truck I've ordered lobster from and I have to say it ranked dead last, compared to the others (1st place goes to J's Hibachi Food Truck). I always appreciate supporting food trucks, but this is probably not one I would order from again. More of a 2.5/5 than a 3/5.

Lobster rolls are fantastic! Worth the drive. Lived in Maine and they taste like the local lobster pounds.

Always look forward to Georgetown visits. My husband got several rolls, reheated the next day at my work it was still amazing

Delicious in a pinch but over prices for portion size. The lobster roll is so tasty but honestly you won't get full on it. I got a clam chowder that was delicious and thick too and even then I could have eaten another.
