Just a tiny, walk-up, Texas bbq joint. There's a few picnic tables for outside dining. We went about an hour before close, so we received the very last bit of brisket. It was delicious and very juicy. The green beans were also great with added bacon and mushrooms. We got a rib plate for my kids. They were the fall-off-the-bone type of ribs, so it depends on your preference there because you can't exactly pick them up and eat them. The potato salad was creamy and very light on the mustard and pulled pork sandwich was great as well with the regular bbq sauce, which had a sweet taste. Their spicy sauce was only mildly spicy. The only disappointment was that the Mac n cheese was ... well...strange. Texture was off as well as flavor. Now, I'm an avid Mac n cheese savant, so I'm fairly critical over my Mac n cheese. We will definitely go back to try the brisket nachos and loaded potato with meat! We just won't reorder the Mac n cheese.

I was looking for a spot not too crowded and looked peaceful with good social distance tables. Super friendly family run. Made us city folk feel welcome. They even gave my dogggy a soft pork bone and brought him some water. Sweet Tea was spot on. Brisket was tender and had what was a smooth distinct flavor. Extra tender and lean but juicy. Mac and cheese was delicious. Definitely drop in!!!

This place is great. I'm staying at Rio Raft resort and this place is right next to the office. The guy who owns it is super nice and the bbq is legit. I got a pound of their smoked turkey and a side of green beans which were super tasty. I'm here for the weekend so another visit may be in order.

Our favorite brisket by far. We've had other local BBQ, and I've tried a few places in town. I always come back here. Yummy brisket nachos. I would have taken a pic, but I devoured them before thinking about it. Their cheese sauce is homemade and awesome! Many times I just pick up a few lbs to take home. Prices are comparable to other bbq joints I've been. Hands down though, you won't find stuffed baked potato or brisket nachos for this price anywhere else.

You have too eat here!!! We got an assortment....tried 3 meats and 6 sides. I'm not sure which was my favorite but if I had to choose....pulled pork with the green beans and creamed corn. Their sides are all amazing and very unique!

I remember now why I swore this place off a year ago. Been twice. Overpriced. Not good. Not friendly. 2 meat plate - brisket (came in a wad of chunks--not sliced), sausage (the worst sausage I've ever had), coleslaw (decent, probably store bought), potato salad (store bought, good, I watched them scoop it out). My dogs like the meat--I was starving for BBQ and just gave half of it to them. Asked for sauce--received none. Order taken by pleasant nine year old young man that waited to finish his video game before opening the window. Then his mom asked me what was on the order slip. Sausage is so bad. No napkins, no plasticware. Placing 6th out of 34 local teams in a cook off does not qualify you for a BBQ place particularly when your customer service would place bottom 10%. I feel bad for the family, but BBQ ain't daddy's thing. Dad asked the 9 year old if I wanted sauce and I figured the nine year old conveyed that I wanted it. I guess not. Not sure why dad didn't ask me. Real Pit 1/2 mile away on the other hand, is literally world class. A waste of 23 dollars. Geez.
