Delicious! Corinne provided a great breakfast experience. This was one of my best dining experiences ever, and I would recommend it to everyone! The waitstaff looked great, and Skyler took care of us. She was amazing and deserves a big tip! We started with warm biscuits served with local jam and butter. The jam was flavorful. I ordered the corn cake, benedict, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this dish, and I hope to visit again.

A Five-Star Serenade for Robert at Corrine - Where Service Sings and the Wagyu WinsSome meals are just meals. Others? A symphony. And at Corrine in the Austin Marriott Downtown, our evening was nothing short of a well-orchestrated masterpiece, conducted by none other than our server, Robert. From the moment we sat down, Robert was grace in motion--responsive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretension, and ever the maestro of making us feel right at home. We threw him a curveball with drink requests that weren't even on the menu, and did he flinch? Not a chance. With a knowing nod and a seamless relay to the bartender, our drinks arrived as if conjured by magic. Now that's service with a capital S.Then came the food. Oh, the food. The Brush Creek Wagyu Burger--a decadent stack of gruyere-laced, sauce-drizzled, perfectly cooked bliss--paired with shoestring fries so crisp, so golden, so utterly addictive that stopping was simply not an option. One bite in, and it was game over--forks down, taste buds up.Great meals leave an impression. Great service makes you want to come back. And Robert? He's the kind of server who elevates an evening from delicious to downright delightful. If you find yourself at Corrine, do yourself a favor--sit back, savor, and if you're lucky enough to be in Robert's section, trust that you're in the hands of a true hospitality virtuoso.Five stars, zero crumbs left behind, and a vow to return.

Meh. Reservation was at 7:15 - we didn't eat until 8:45. We got to our table around 7:30 - manager did provide a round of drinks. I think they were severely understaffed. For was okay. Nothing worth an hour and a half wait - but was edible and decent. Just not a place I would waste my time on again.

So let me start by saying the food was off the hook. This was a surprise visit brought on by my two daughters, and to say, I was pleasantly surprised as an understatement. This was a quaint little restaurant tucked in the Westin in the domain area in Austin Texas. When I tell you, the service here was amazing would be an understatement. One of my favorite things about this restaurant was that the general manager, Ivan, walking by each table in the restaurant, talking to the patrons and making sure their meal was to par or asking if they needed anything. Haven't seen that in a while, and it was very refreshing to know they wanted feedback and that they cared about what customers thought about their food. They also have some very nice brunch deals. One was buy a bottle of champagne and get one free for your endless mimosa. If you haven't tried this restaurant start on a brunch, it's beautiful. Ivan was the general manager's name and I can't say enough good things about what he's doing here. Go Corinne, Go Ivan!!

My sister came into Austin for quick visit & we choose this good flexible menu restaurant for our group's various diet choices . The Austin Beerworks 701 Sun IPA with Longbone Pork Ribeye & tomato Lloyd, hominy, spiced agave, grilled corn was very tasty. Parking is little bit of a stressful challenge, but the meal was worth it. Service was responsive & all table needs were met.

It's the kickoff of the holiday vacation and took my ladies to the movies and then we headed down to Corinne's for brunch!...hidden inside the Marriott this place just doesn't miss! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. We were seated pretty fast and immediately our server Phumzile was on top of everything from intro to bill delivery. She took our drink orders and appetizers were delivered so fast. We started with the Biscuits..shhhh...be careful with them because I swear there something addictive about them..I think there's someone in the kitchen pouring LOVE into these things...but get them! We moved on to the crab croquettes...crispy outside and fluffy crabby goodness inside! The mains came out and all we heard at the table was " ohhh this is yummy, can I taste yours!?" Everything was just awesome and the portions don't disappoint! This is why I had to give a 5 rating! We'll be back for sure

Marriott's upscale bar and restaurant at the Marriott Downtown. It has the challenge most hotel restaurants have of wanting to charge a high price and needing to find a way to justify that price. As a drinking place, it might work.As an eating place, it doesn't work.* * *Corinne's room is beautiful. They have good bottles to drink.I have no idea how the mix mastering isBecause I was there on a work afternoon and not drinking. But either by day or by night, I could see ordering some of the primo whiskeys they had at the bar, and settling in for a long spell of looking at the room or looking at the landscape.I unfortunately caught them on a day when one of the walls had accumulated lots of dust and dirt from whatever. In my case that was a total moodbreaker. But the rest of the room was impeccable -When I mentioned this to staff - they immediately trotted out the perfect implement for the job - and cleaned the wall nicely. So in general, I think you get a spotless beautiful room in which to do your alcoholic musing.* * *Food is another story. It is a limited menu fixed ingredients place - which is now a lot of hotel restaurants keep their costs down.Marriott raises the tab by artful ingenuity and classy touches on the execution. When they work.Over at Marriott's Champions on the Fourth Street Marriott Courtyard, they do this with a Cobb Salad. That Cobb Salad just beats the band.Marriott on Cesar Chavez kind of bellyflopped on the two dishes I tried.* * *One dish was crab croquettes.Crab anything is hard.Crab in the shell is a pain in the ass to fight through the shell to eat and you don't get much.Crab out of the shell loses flavor superfast.Fake Krab out of the surimi boat generally has better taste and longer shelf life than does real life crab.Crab cakes are Maryland's biggest disappointment.(They compensated with Maryland Rye, World Class Lacrosse and Johns Hopkins.)Marriott working with worse crab than you would get in Maryland doesn't improve the low bar set by crab cakes in general.Pretty much tasteless with some vague compensation from a lemony sauce.* * *The other dish was a wedge salad.THIS version though tried to justify the megatab with a great big long huge slab of candied bacon on top of the salad.Literally that sucker was two inches wide and a foot long. It covered the plate. It was just as sweet and fatty as you would expect candied bacon to be.* * *The trouble was That you usually eat a salad because you are looking for something light and healthy.A slab of pork fat as long and wide as a kielbasa is not what you call light and healthy.A sprinkling of bacon on your salad to give it body and taste ... sure!Plus candied bacon is syrupy and cloying. The fat content was through the roof.By the 1/4 mark, this bacon was no fun anymore.By the 3/4 mark, I was starting to feel genuinely nauseated. The wedge salad had a lot of other very nice touches. The dressing and the heirloom cherry tomatoes were first rate. But that stupid piece of bacon ruined everything ...And that bacon was only there to justify a price.* * *Marriott tries hard.I suspect that I could have picked other things on the menu and had a wonderful meal.If I was attending a convention at the Austin Convention Center,(Say I was one of the bureaucrats or money guys who goes to South by Southwest ...)And I was tired, didn't want to fight the street crowds and was travelling on an expense account,Corinne might be just what I need to have a meal, have a drink or six, and get my thoughts back to where I want them to be.Corinne would be crowded during South by Southwest ... but I would be smart enough to reserve a table.* * *Austin locals can do better than this. That includes doing expensive dining and drinking. The visiting executive can also do better if he has the energy to grab an Uber and go to one of Austin's many spectacular dining locations.Nearly all of them are out of the Downtown South by Southwest Impact Crater.

To celebrate my husband's birthday, I decided to try Corinne for the first time instead of revisiting one of our many favorite spots in Austin. While the evening had its highs, there were also a few unexpected lows.We were greeted warmly by the host with a sweet birthday wish which was a nice touch. However, she didn't properly check us in and the next morning, I received a no-show notice from OpenTable. I take my reservations very seriously, so being falsely accused of skipping out was frustrating.I hadn't realized Corinne was a hotel restaurant when I booked, and while the ambiance was otherwise pleasant, some diners were dressed extremely casually -- one couple was essentially in pajamas -- which detracted from the celebratory vibe that I had hoped for.On the bright side, the food was delicious and satisfying. We kicked things off with several small plates, planning to split a main course later, but the portions were so generous that we were comfortably full before we got there. The Tiramisu Carajillo cocktail was essentially dessert, though the Mezcal Negroni was more in line with my tastes. The Wild Mushroom Bolognese being 100% vegetarian was a standout surprise (though we didn't end up ordering it.) The Fall Vegetable Salad exceeded expectations with its bold, seasonal flavors and hearty feel. Our server was sweet and attentive, but he had a tendency to speak so quietly that we couldn't hear him over the music, even after repeatedly asking him to speak up. I appreciated that he checked with the kitchen when I inquired about the Spinach and Avocado Caesar and confirmed that it contained anchovies.Overall, Corinne served up excellent food but fell a bit short on atmosphere and service for a special occasion. It's a good spot for a casual dinner, but for a birthday celebration, I'd likely look elsewhere next time.

It's a little annoying to find parking, but what place is downtown doesn't have that problem?Located in a beautiful hotel, Corinne is a super nice date spot! Food was delicious and servers were friendly. But highlights for us were the warm Parker house rolls which were so soft and doughy. And just amazing with the salt and butter. And the spicy tuna bruschetta. The fish tasted pretty fresh and the visuals were just so colorful. It's like elevated avocado toast honestly.
