I really wanted to like this place. We came for breakfast tacos, we waited at the counter for about 10 min then someone approached. We ordered 6 tacos and a breakfast burrito, we were asked if we would like salsa on the side red/green which little did we know it was charged for each salsa. We got home and opened the salsas they where slightly blown up which should have let us know they were expired. After tasting them they were tart/sour and definitely spoiled. The beans were crunchy/dry and the flour tortillas were nothing to write home about. We will not be returning to this place nor recommending it to anyone. The other locations reviews were promising but this place is not good!

I love food trucks, way better than most restaurants. Disappointed that they hardly put any queso fresco, but it was 60 cents more. Regardless tacos were very good!

These breakfast tacos are amazing!! I got a potato, egg and cheese on corn . They are huge . The green salsa is so good . I can't wait to go back and try something else !! I don't even get these bad reviews. Something is wrong with those people . She was so nice . Thanks for the great taco !

Breakfast tacos are so good! All these other reviews are just haters. They're always super nice to me when I get my food and they're super quick as well. Bomb food, bomb customer service! You can't go wrong with Con Madre Kitchen!

Wow. Walked in after business in the strip and gave these guys a try, since I noticed Taco and Mama was replaced. Delicious and quick! Generous portions. They have interesting items like pumpkin (calabaza) tacos as well. Yum! I'll be back.

Con madre absolutely blows these days! Frequented their Oltorf location for years and just moved south. They started charging fifty cents for their tiny watery salsas sometime in the early covid era. When asking about this new policy at the Oltorf location I was told there was new ownership - dude who told me was miserable and rude and should not be working front of house. First time ordering from this location and they are no different from the central location - we paid for eight salsas and got two. This happens every freaking time!!! Absolutely bs that you are too busy to answer the phone! ...tired of fielding complaints? Just pure lazy customer service? You are bad at your job. And an obvious side note for the lazy person that put this order together - how easy it is to see the ONLY .50 cent itemized items that are salsas! Starting to believe the only reason you survived in the early days beyond the tortillas was the young lady who worked the front of house at the Oltorf location who never made a mistake and if something was off she made right, and right there on the spot. And guess what too, they would pick up the phone to take orders and hear one out if something was wrong to immediately correct it.New ownership has ZERO business running a trailer nor a brick and mortar and I love that you know this and that you are a coward who doesn't respond to voicemails nor emails. Keep hiding in you misery lol.
