Very casual local place for home cooked foods. Entrees are good but slightly pricey - the sides are meh and can become very pricey when alternative sides are added - upcharge of $2.99 for onion ring substitute which conveys into 4 onion rings at a cost of $.75 per ring. The service is good. So for $20+ per plate for chicken fried steak and rings - Texas Roadhouse is a much better option for good food and quantity.

Great food. Kind service. Love the ambiance here! It's all good vibes and great prices! I've eaten here a few times but one day I went in and got the special for nachos. They were delicious! I loved the homemade chips, so fluffy and light but still had a crunch! Also, our waitress was such a sweet heart! Be sure to check them out. You won't be disappointed!

While waiting for your meals; try their delicious appetizers of the best tasting onion rings and other appetizers!!! Also, along while enjoying your time with your family and friends; try their refreshing cold cocktails or your favorite beverages!!! Their customer service is awesome with dependable high quality and friendly waiters and waitresses!!! First time visitor, was meeting someone from Taylor who recommended this place. Very friendly staff and patrons, who suggested items from the menu when they found out I was a first timer. Couldn't go wrong with the smoked pork steak and cabbage. The pork steak was enormous and should have stopped at half. Veggies were very good and my guest said the hamburger was very good. Laid back atmosphere as you would expect in a small town. Overall, nice experience.

Quite easily the best burger in the area. Fresh beef, hand formed, hand pressed thin but still a good texture. Wide patty, wide bun, fresh vegetables. What a burger used to be before fast food.Fries or tots are extra on the side. Side salads are also available.Eat in or take out. Easy access at Hwy 29 and Hwy 95 just north of Taylor and east of Georgetown. A great stop to/from Granger Lake or the drag races in Little River-Academy.I didn't take pictures because I ate it before I thought about it. :)

If I could do negative stars I would! I just paid $17 for the smallest chicken fried steak and sides in my life! Very disappointing

Great food and friendly staff! Love their fried chicken. Wish they didn't have smoking inside.
