This bijou little eatery is a real gem. No waiting and easy to order. Very friendly chef. The Taiwanese Chicken taco was well, amazing! Every ingredient, especially the chicken, offered the most pleasant taste in the taco, so much I ordered some to take home. The Pork Belly taco on corn tortilla was succulent, embellished with candied jalapeños, shredded cabbage, cilantro, and spicy sauce, left us wanting more. The place is small but we enjoyed the atmosphere, we're waited on quickly, didn't wait long for our food and most importantly absolutely loved what we ordered. The Kimchi Fries offered the flavor of Fries with the tangy spicy kimchi taste. It was different but was a different twist to smothered fries.Next time I'm in Austin, I'll be back to try more tasty selections from the menu.

This is a small mom and pop type restaurant.Counter service only.Asian/ Mexican fusion options available.Hours for holidays are different than normal please see photos for clarification. The chef was also the cashier. Very kind and ready to help. There was one person waiting when we walked in. We ordered 2 tacos (migas and a build your own ) and the veggie rice bowl. It took about 15 minutes to receive our food which was made fresh to order in an open kitchen.Flavors were on point -migas taco was the favorite of our order. The salsas were great, the green was quite spicy but still good ! The black beans did taste like they might have been made with pork, but I'm not positive. If you're strict on vegan/vegetarian I would ask before ordering. Would stop by again and try other items if in the area

A hidden gem worth checking out. In a little shopping area, this small restaurant offers a delightful twist on traditional Asian and Mexican cuisines.I got the Pork Belly Slider Plate--absolutely delicious! The pork belly was perfectly cooked, very juicy and melts in your mouth. The area inside is a bit small and looks to be mainly togo

We just tried this place today and it was pretty good.I ordered the Pork Belly Rice Bowl and added ! It includes slow braised pork belly, grilled kimchi, sauteed mushrooms, candied jalapeños, ginger cilantro rice, a chino taquito (like a fried spring roll), topped with green onions & an over medium egg.My wife ordered the Chicken Rice Bowl. It included all natural chicken, avocado slices, pico de gallo, mung bean sprouts, ginger cilantro rice, a chino taquito, topped with green onions & an over medium egg. Both came with this sweet and spicy sauce to add to the top. The inside was okay with a few tablespoons of and table top bar area. We ordered takeout which it seemed like most people did while I was there. Only complaint is that the chicken bowl didn't have too much chicken and had lots of potatoes which were fine but unexpected.Definitely recommend trying this yummy fusion spot.

I can get pork belly and kimchi rolled up in a tortilla? With pretty good salsa? Deal! I don't know why I'd put salsa on kimchi but it works! Cool people in a strip mall with an eclectic menu. Try a lil' bit of everything until you hit your sweet (or spicy) spot...priced right and convenient.

Chinos has one of my favorite breakfast tacos ever, the "bad taco". They cook it all up on high heat so it's both soft and crispy on the inside. It has a perfect (for me) blend of ingredients that are super flavorful together. I also only need 1 taco to keep me satisfied until lunch time. I absolutely love this taco.

It is my conviction after having this Tex Mex Asian fusion experience that Mexican and Asian food DO belong together. I had already contemplated this mix in my own kitchen and played with some favors but never as boldly as Chinos. I'm pleased to report that these flavors definitely mix well. I really enjoyed my rice bowl and my husband liked his tofu tacos. The kimchi potato slices were surprisingly delicious and awesome to share. My tummy very much enjoyed it. The only thing I would change is adding some more interesting (perhaps imported) drink options to the menu and making the beans saltier and spicier rather than sweet. The sweet black beans in my veggie bowl were okay but tasted more like a white man's side dish than a true Tex Mex flavor. I'm from Canada, and as white as they come, I speak from experience. My people love pouring maple syrup on everything, including beans. A strategy that doesn't always work out for the best, IMHO!Definitely a place to try if you haven't already! It's very laid back, too.

A great visit once again to an unusual place that I have been going to for years. This is not a typical taco joint, but a fusion place that is small and laid back. Lord knows how many photos I have taken, but I have tried a lot of the items. My favorite thing is the Dragon, and it has kimchi essence (not a pile) but it can be quite strong. The green sauce is to die for. I suggest eating it with a knife and fork. The "Bad" taco is pretty traditional and quite good. They have bowls, items that can be enlarged into rice bowls and other oddities at decent prices. If you get a pork belly item and you want it cooked crisper, they can do that, and crispy changes the flavor a bit. Lunch rush can be hectic as they get large group orders to be picked up. I like about 1:00 pm, have a Dragon or Bad, then later a lite dinner. Summing up, you either love it or hate it. If you expect the kind of food you would get at a taco truck, this is completely different.

Absolutely love this place! We go there multiple times a week! I always get the chicken adobo bowl and my husband gets the steak bowl. They are both so yummy and have so much flavor. Also would like to note that the owners are so so kind. They take the time to get to know you and your order, which is really nice.
