I had 2 items with fried rice plate for $9.99. My choice was chicken with zucchini and mushroom and spicy chicken with jalapeno. The zucchini is still crunchy and not mushy. The chicken is all white meat and very tender. They are actually pretty good at being in a food court. I think it is the best Chinese food you can find in New Braunfels and San Marcos area unless you want to make a trip to Austin. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. The portion is good for the price. The two ladies work there are very friendly. The offer me sample immediately when they saw me. The only complaint I have is fried rice are a little bit heavy with soy sauce and kind of salty to me.

A little pricey but still awesome for some mall chinese food ! Please do not be fooled by the 1 star ratings ( I get people are upset over water, but get over it .) I've been here countless times and the food is always soooo damn good! The workers are average but like I said, it's a mall food court what do you expect ? I always order the veggies with 2 sides of different chicken . The portions are giant and you will definitely have a load of leftovers . And the best part ? You don't even have to leave the mall!!If you want a option that's super good , convenient , and a lot of food, go here !

We came early and the food is just cooked. Fresh and taste delicious. We like it very much. Will visit again in the future.

So me and my family were visiting San Marcos and were wanting some Asian food I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice , but while eating my meal , I realized that I was chewing on something hard and I pulled a piece of metal out of my mouth . After that I went to tell the people serving the food and they just smiled. I know things like this happen sometimes but the least they could have done was throw out the orange chicken and make more. It just shows they do not care about their customers and the quality of the food they are serving their customers. We will not be dining here again.

The correct name is China Max. Yelp needs to get that corrected. I should have listened to the other negative reviews and avoided this place. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake. I don't expect much from shopping mall food courts, but this fell below even those expectations. I had the noodles with two sides, the orange chicken and the mushroom/chicken/vegetable mix. The mushroom/chicken/vegetable mix was good, about what I would expect, but not nearly as good as you would find at something like Panda Express. The orange chicken was very sweet--too sweet. Yes, this should have a sweet taste to it, but by the end, i felt like I'd eaten a sugar bomb. The noodles were the most disappointing and I couldn't eat them all. They seemed a bit overcooked and there was nothing but a massive pile of noodles. Most places have something else in the noodles like cabbage and so on. When shopping here, I will likely return to the food court, but I will check out other options.

Very greasy food, but the taste and quality was comparable to Panda express. When you are so tired from shopping at the mall, and have only one chinese fast food option around, who cares about quality? quantity and convenience is all that matters :)

DO NOT GO HERE. We got our food and ate almost the whole plate. On the last bite my friend pulls a LIVE WORM out of her mouth. We filed a complaint with costumer service and went back to the restaurant. They told us we could not get a refund unless we gave them the plate with the worm on it. Trust me do not spend your money on a place with terrible customer service and uncleanliness.

The worst service I have ever had. The lady didn't want to communicate. When we said the water had a strange smell, she just dumped the water in front of us forcefully and walked away. There are SO MANY other choices here with good service attitude, please save your money for those that truly value you as a customer.

They don't offer one of the basic rights to have and the is free water. They said they don't have it in their machine. With the price of their entree it should be free water rather than forcing people to buy bottled water. Maybe next time I come back I have to pay for the fork and spoons. You should be ashamed of yourself. Other wise good entrees with actual flavor you are looking for an American Chinese food. Hot and fresh since it turns around fast. Only AC food in court.

The only reason we went here was because my two year old wanted "noodles". Well let me say 3 one entree plates and $27 later this place is just as gross as described in other reviews. Took a few bites and threw it in the trash for a hot dog at the branding iron. Not much better but I couldn't eat their "chicken" or choke down their noodles any longer!! Stay away!
