Chatpatti Chaat

I wanted to make the holiday season extra special last year, so I ordered a feast from Chatpatti Chaat for a Christmas celebration and my boyfriend's birthday. It was absolutely worth it. We tried a huge spread: Bhel Puri, Paani Puri, Ragda Pattice, Sukha Puri, Chatpatti Special Chaat, and Samosa Chaat.The flavors were vibrant and each dish had its own unique twist. The Bhel Puri was packed with tangy, spicy goodness, and the crunch was perfect. Paani Puri was a major highlight: those little puris filled with cool, minty "thikki" and tamarind "khatta meetha" were a burst of flavor in each bite. Ragda Pattice hit all the right notes--spicy, savory, and perfectly comforting. I also loved the Chatpatti Special Chaat for its amazing mix of textures and flavors, making it feel like a true signature dish.And the Samosa Chaat was perfectly spiced and hearty. Chatpatti Chaat added so much festive joy to our celebration, and we can't wait to do it again this year. I think I'll make it a tradition.

First time trying this chaat truck. I was pleased with the food quality + taste, and was impressed by how quickly and efficiently it was prepared. We ordered the sev puri, papdi chaat and dabeli. All items came in generous portions. The sev puri had a nice tangy kick, the papdi chaat was crunchy and delicious (I love that they added Dahi). dabeli was tasty as well though my friend claims it does not taste like authentic Mumbai style dabeli. Check out this food truck next time you're in north Austin and pop over to the Indian dessert truck after to complete your dining experience!

It's in the big food truck park on Anderson mill road. I'd heard so much about this place, so wanted to give it a try. I didn't like it the first time but given how popular this place is, I decided to give it another shot only to be disappointed again. I tried the pav bhaji, bhel puri and dahi vada. Only to be disappointed by all three. :( Vada pav want served on the classic Bombay Pav, was unnecessarily spicy not favorfully spicy. Dahi vada wasnt fresh - the vada was hard and tasted something fatty like buttery. I don't get why this place is so popular? There is plenty of seating here and they really have made it into a nice food park.

We got paani puro from here and it was good!! I definitely liked the paani it was spicy and flavorful, I mixed the spicy one with a little bit of the sweet one too. I wish the filling for the puri had more in it instead of just dahl though

Stopped by here with a friend to checkout Ragda patties, pav bhaji, and dabeli. This is a very homely place. I found the flavors mild and homelike instead of oily and spicy food at some other places. I'd come here to expect varieties of average tasting food but would not classify it for hot and bold in flavors.

We've been here a few times and have enjoyed every visit. We've had their bhel puri, raj kachori, samosa chaat, ragda pattice, dabeli, etc. Flavors are great every time. We usually ask for mild with no raw onions, and they're great at delivering what we want. Their pav bhaji was on the more exciting side of medium than mild, but in a good way. We know we'll be back.

Perfect place for some Indian Chaat (street food). This is legit the best place is Austin to enjoy some chaat. Gets busy in the evenings so seating is sometimes a struggle, but overall, a must try!! My go to since day 1 :)

As a person who had never had chaat before, I really enjoyed this place!! I ordered the chaatpati special chaat and the two piece samosas. Both were great! I had no idea what the flavor profile was going to be like for the chaat and it was surprisingly sweet! It had crispy flour strips that had some sort of sweet and savory sauce on them with deep fried rice and lentil on top. The samosas were also great and was served with a sweet chutney. It was super filling so I have a ton left over, not sure how it's going to reheat though. The staff was super kind giving me suggestions of what to order and there was plenty of seating outside. I will be back :)

This place has excellent customer service and opened on time. I got the Papdi Chaat and the balance of ingredients is excellent. Chutney and chick peas are tasted good. The seating area is shaded to get away from the sun and fans are available! Overall nice ambiance! They are currently short staffed but still received our order in a timely fashion. Awesome place! Plentiful parking as well!

My favorite place for Indian street food, so lucky we have this high quality place in Austin close to our home. I had their dahi batata puri the other day and it took me back to my days in Mumbai.
