I really liked the chaat here - good portion size and lots of toppings. I got the samosa chaat with had lots of sauces and chickpeas. We also got the chole puri which was puffy and delightfully fried, as were the samosas. There are some picnic tables even though this is behind a gas station. They had a huge menu so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of the drinks as well.

First off, I'm quite thrilled to see a chaat joint in the SW corner of Austin. It's an underserved market for the desi people here, and I'll do my bit to keep this business afloat. I love their bhel, sev puri, and their vada pav. We usually ask for no onions and medium spicy in our chaat dishes, and they usually deliver exactly what we like. Their menu is larger than it needs to be, and the decor on the outside of the truck is a tad funky. Service has been friendly. We need more chaat places like this around here.

Firstly, I love that this place is located south. We definitely need more south Asian restaurants/food trucks in the area. The Bollywood sayings and images on the food truck was a nice touch! I loved it--very creative. When I arrived the place had about 10 customers around 6:30pm. Service was extremely slow tonight as it took over 45 to get my food. That was somewhat disappointing for my first time coming here. I ordered the Mumbai Vadapav--which to me taste similar to pakora breading and filling. It is a giant spiced potato sandwich. Overall ok, not terrible but not something I would order again. The Maggi Masala veg--it's essentially Ramen noodles with very little spice. I thought it was something else due to the picture near it. That was confusing and may confuse other customers. Lastly I tried the samosas and they were perfect. I wish the outside texture was fluffier but it was nice to try some North Indian snacks, I'm more familiar with South Indian cuisine. I would consider visiting again to try another menu item if the wait times improved

Amazing new Indian chaat food truck in South Austin! We were impressed by the colorful exterior, decorated with Bollywood graphics and quirky quotes. The seating area had a couple of benches and charpai which is usually seen outside Indian dhabas. So cool! The menu is quite extensive including chai, lassis, Mumbai chaat, pakode, maggi.. so much to choose from! Food is very tasty and fairly authentic. Pav bhaji and samosa chaat were especially good.Vada pav and dabeli were served in jumbo sized pav. It would be nice if the owners can ask about preferred spice level as some of the items like vada pav were too spicy and this can be easily reduced with less chilli chutney spread in the pav. Overall though, I liked the flavor of the vada and tanginess of the imli chutney.Service is slightly slow and they also have a disclaimer about this on the truck but food is worth the wait.

Yes yes yes! Finally we don't have to drive 45 minutes to drag ourselves up north for Indian street food delicacies. We are so happy to see all the new options opening up in South Austin rapidly. This place really delivered - and not just because we have been so starved for good Chaat. We ordered a dahi puri and a bhel puri. Portion sizes were large and two of us couldn't finish our two dishes. Parking is easy and plentiful. This gas station has very large footprint so you're not cramped. They have added some seating as well so you can enjoy your food fresh.

The food was too tarte, spicy and sweet at the same time! I don't know how'd that's even possible!! The ambiance - it's a food truck but had games, cot and all that will make you nostslgic but not sure if it's worth it!

Hidden gem of a food truck! I've gone here twice now, and it was delicious each time. I'm not super familiar with Indian street food, but have really enjoyed the bhel ka chaska and dabeli. I've got to work my way through more but you can't go wrong with either of these!I love that it also seems reasonably priced, the two dishes I mentioned would probably last me two meals.Location is behind a Chevron gas station near Small Middle School.Overall service is quick and people are kind. Absolutely give them a try!! Worth a drive!

Happened to see what chaats were in Austin tonight, and saw that this new food truck was in S. Austin! After dinner, we drove over to check it out. So glad we did. This truck was pretty busy with people coming to order at the counter, AND quite a few pick up orders. The service was super friendly. The food and drink were flavorful and delicious. So glad to have this option in the area.

This is a Great food truck with wonderful Indian options. The mango lassi is great and the vada pav tastes just like the ones you can get in India. The pani puri was also good, and is great to eat on a cold day. I want to try the samosa chaat as I have heard it's really good. The uncle that works there is very nice and will help you out with any questions that you may have. Overall, it's a great place to eat with friends and to hang out.

Above average for the Maggi Noodles and the Faloodas. Both delish and hit the spot. The chaats themselves were average. The puris tasted fresh. The gol gappa water was so-so and mostly spicy, so was the potato in it (too spicy). The samosa chaat was ok as well. The dahi puri was good & so were the fries.I might try them again though but be super particular about what I get the next time.
