Cedar Door Patio Bar & Grill

I was staying nearby and walked over here to have dinner. I sat at the small bar inside. I was taken care of and the food was really good. I had a nice conversation with the lady next to me and with the bartender. Looks like a fun place to hangout, especially on the outside patio.I started with a nice glass of wine. It was near the end of the bottle so the bartender topped we off with another half glass a bit later in the meal.I had the Fried Dill Pickle Chips: Battered dill pickle chips with chipotle ranch. These were really good. The dressing was a bit spicy but had a good flavor. The pickles were nicely fried, not greasy. I then had the Chicken Tacos: Grilled chicken, pickled peach, grilled corn, lettuce, red onion, salsa verde, served on corn tortillas. These were really tasty too. A really nice meal!

Closest sports bar to the JW. Went there after an early afternoon UT game to catch the night games.Ordered the brussle sprouts, fish tacos and mexican martini.The mexican martin is a margarita that is served in a shaker with ice. Nice touch, it stayed cold and was made well.The brussel sprouts were good, the chili sauce had enough heat but was a little on the sweet side. It became too sweet toward the end.The fish tacos were also good. The fish was fried perfectly, the heat was good with the jalapeño it needed a little balance from a sweet standpoint. I added some of the brussles with chili sauce and they were real good.

Oh man! I love Cedar Door. It's a cool place to meet up and hangout with friends. Their dirty Palomas were strong and their Mexican Martinis will always make me smile. Food wise, we tried a variety of dishes but we loved their Brussels sprouts the most. Service was really good. They also offer military discount, which was very nice. We will be back!

Friendly service from arriving and being seated to our waitress taking out order. The patio is wonderful to sit out at and it was fairly clean. Our food came out fast and hot and portions were larger and good.

Loved the smoked meatballs and pulled chicken. Service was fast and friendly. It had a nice BBQ and bar atmosphere.

A cute place in Austin. We were able to make a reservation for 18 people on a Thursday for my bachelorette. The service was great for such a large group. I had the fish tacos and they were so good! They have a lot of beers on draft and craft cocktails. It wasn't too busy when we were in there, I think because it was raining. The patio would have been fun to sit on in better weather!

Went here for a girls night out, first of all the patio is just amazing, if you can get outside sitting please do so. We were greeted by an amazing staff. Our waitress Diana Q was so spot on and super attentive to our party. She was welcoming and great on receiving our orders. The food was (chef kiss) delicious! We had the trio, shisito peppers and the white wings. Thank you to the chef Misa who made our meals it was just phenomenal. The manager JGo came out to us and made the whole party feel super welcomed.Ohh by the way if you aren't an alcoholic beverage drinker and like mocktails try the Lavender drink! Soooo yummy!! You won't be disappointed in this old Austin staple.. Get in your car and drive to Cedar Door Patio Bar & Grill!!

Great for dinner with friends! This place is super cute with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are friendly and speedy! The food itself is good too but I wish the menu was more diverse. The drink menu makes up for it, however, with a wide variety of beverages to choose from. Would come back for sure.

The food was phenomnal. Our waitrese was amazing. She made great suggestions and we took them all. NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The Marriott empliyee said was one of their favorites places for after shift. Atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. Will come back again. Ask for Emma.
