Super nice crew - great vibes. Seems like a lot of locals/regulars. Tough, rough looking bartenders and ABBA playing in the background.Burgers were very good. Fries were kind of weird, but also good. Perfect layer for a night of drinking.Overall solid place. Would definitely come back.

My Amarillo Burger, loaded with roasted serrano chiles, jalapeño jack cheese, and mayo, had just the right kick of spice--absolutely delicious.I miss coming here for weekday lunches; the super chill atmosphere, loud music, and friendly service make it a standout spot. It's just divery enough to feel authentic while delivering consistently amazing food. What's not to like? A must-visit for burger enthusiasts!

Went here on a yelp recommendation and the diners drove ins and dives website. *It's off of 6th street. Parking is at a premium. * This is a bar. Not a restaurant. There are no waitstaff. You order, pick up and bus your own food. *the cooks take your order. Do not expect them to be super duper friendly or quick if you're ordering and they are cooking food. *Your name will be called over the loud speaker. Pick up the first time! Now for the food: * burgers and sandwiches. Fries either on the side or a basket to share. *lots of options for good toppings. One of us did a plain old burger and the other did the Madison. With pork belly. We went on a week day. It was full of MC members. I would probably not have gone in by myself. I felt safe the entire time with my husband who is in a MC. If you don't know what an MC is you probably shouldn't venture into this establishment. Gives off From Dusk TIl Dawn vibes. There is a patio out back. The burger was way under cooked. Says they cook to medium. This was rare, and I was not about to send it back. Had great flavor, just not cooked enough for me.

A little hole in the wall dive bar with excellent food! Don't let the scenery fool you, display serves up some really great food! The burgers are amazing, and the chili fries were bomb! We got served pretty fast so we were happy! No servers, you order, and pick up your food at the bar. Great late night spot to eat !

Chicken sandwich is BOMB.com!!! DO IT!Late night eats after a fun night out & maybe a few more while waiting for our food. Took it to go and don't regret one bite!!

I honestly don't want to give Casino ***** stars because I don't want to continuously boost their rating and let other people know how fantastic this place is. I secretly keep it for myself. Unlike a lot lot establishments CELC does not go down. They stay at an excellent 4.5 to 5 stars continuously for at least the last eight years. Burgers are fantastic, Service is perfect and the food is righteous.

A fun little stop if you want a burger or a stiff drink. If you are like me and you enjoy sticky dive bars and you also like burgers, you can combine those loves here. Get your big burger while your feet are sticky on the floor. (How I refer to good dive bars, sticky).Dark atmosphere, loud music, and semi-resitant bar keeps (to be a good dive bar you need a little grumble in the bar tender, it adds to the high ranking for me!). This was an enjoyable stop. Between the sharable burger (yes, you should share it!), my bar neighbors I was able to strike up conversation with, and the deeply grungy atmosphere, it is worth a looky.

You haven't done late night eating in Austin if you haven't eaten here!Big, delicious burgers with hearty portions of fries. You order at the counter and you pick it up at the window when ready. In addition to the good food, the people watching is pretty good. It's a bar too so plenty of drinky drink options to keep the party going.

Worth the visit and experience here. The decor and ambiance provides a quite pleasant and entertaining experience. Service is quick and food experience was satisfying. The Amarillo burger was amazing and quite conceivably one of the best burgers I have ever had. The meat was next level and cooked to perfection. Given the ambiance and taste of the burger at times I thought I was in a twilight zone episode of demolition man eating a burger where I did not know where the meat originated from!!! Also, Good thing I visited during the day since I'm pretty sure this establishment turns into the bar from dusk till dawn once night comes!!!Verde fries were unimpressive and would skip next time but overall experience was great and one of the highlights of Austin. Recommend and would frequent again.

Omg they are no nonsense no fuss, but the best burger ive ever had!Delicioud and huge! Even at mignight a long line of locals waiting for a perfect burger!
