I recently went to Casa Bianca with some friends, and I had a great experience! One of the first things I appreciated was that they have a tiny parking lot, it does fill up quickly, but hey, it's better than nothing. What really impressed me was their dedicated vegetarian menu. It's rare to find a place that puts so much thought into vegetarian options, and I was thrilled. I ordered the cavatelli, which came with a mushroom and hazelnut ragù, fermented honey, and pecorino. The flavors were rich, complex, and unexpectedly harmonious. You wouldn't think honey would work in a dish like that, but it added the perfect balance of sweetness and depth.I also tried the vegetarian version of the mushroom lasagna from a friend, which had a fiery kick thanks to the arrabbiata sauce. It was bold, comforting, and packed with flavor.Beyond the food, the ambiance at Casa Bianca is warm and inviting--perfect for a date night. It has a romantic charm but also works well for a fun evening with friends. With such a thoughtful vegetarian selection and cute atmosphere, I'll definitely be back!

I had an excellent experience at Casa Bianca! Their A-frame sign outside caught my attention a few weeks ago: $1 oysters on Tuesdays? Sign me up!This restaurant took over one of my old favorite brunch locations. I walked in and was stunned with what they did with the place! The restaurant has an elevated vibe but is still welcoming. I'm usually a part of 1, so I made myself comfortable at the bar (which had plenty of seating when I arrived around 530, but was full by the time I left). The bartender, Mikel, was extremely informed on the menu and made several excellent suggestions. He was attentive and general just nice to speak with. The cocktails he made were out of this world! I ordered the C.R.E.A.M. to start and WOW, what a pleasantly sweet surprise! I followed up with their La Brasa margarita, a complete shift in flavor profile but equally as delightful. Aside from my dozen oysters, I also enjoyed a half order of their lamb cavatelli (as suggested by Mikel). It was everything I was looking for, and I'm always so thrilled when restaurants offer half portions. I'll definitely return for another round of oysters and to try their Salsa Verde margarita. At $10 from 4-6, these happy hour cocktail specials are some of the tastiest in this part of town! The happy hour menu also had a few bites on there as well, can't wait to try it all!

My recent visit to Casa Bianca was nothing short of extraordinary. Every aspect was well executed - from the ambiance, the service, the food, the creativity that went into everything. It was truly a memorable experience. Made for a very special weekday date night. We ordered fresh oysters and paired them with a bottle of Ployez-Jacquemart Brut. Im not generally a fan of the wine selection in Austin restaurants (or in Texas in general) but this was an excellent pick. 10/10The spicy bluefin tuna cannoli was a first, love the creativity. Ordered it out of curiosity, and glad I did. It was delicious. The shell was on the sweeter side. I would have preferred more of a neutral wonton shell. I think roe or seaweed/nori could elevate this dish even further. 8/10The crab arancini was touted as "probably the best thing I've ever made" by the chef. I don't know how they did it but chef managed to bring out a biting freshness out of the crab that made you believe the crab was alive seconds before touching your mouth. It's still dripping seawater. Wild stuff. 10/10. The herb Caesar I say with complete confidence it is the BEST Caesar salad I've ever had. Down to the crouton shavings that defy physics - how did they remain that perky down to the last bite?? A bite of the cured anchovies with dill in this salad and you can feel your synapses firing full on fireworks. Existential happiness comes with this dish. 11/10The freshly made cavatelli pasta with lamb, hazelnut ragú, and fermented honey was audacious af and an absolute hit. I had to force myself to slow down while eating it to really savor it. 10/10The risotto with roasted squash ragú was an excellent take on a popular dish. Rich, deep, comforting, complex, indulgent but not heavy, silky. 10/10 Lastly, Lasagna mille-feuille is a layered tower of crispy pasta, a butternut goat cheese diplomat cream, candied hazelnuts, cajeta, rosemary. Absent from the description is fennel and curry which makes for a very pleasant aromatic surprise. You are encouraged to cut through the tower with your spoon as you would crack crème brûlée, the super thin puffed up lasagna "noodles" and the airy cream just give away. It's mousse-y, fragrant, crispy, nutty, creamy, toasty, crunchy... so so delightful. No matter how full you are from dinner make room for this dessert. We paired this with a Greek Muscat (forgot the name) that was an excellent recommendation from our server. 11/10Wrapping up the evening chatting with one of the owners behind the bar was the cherry on top. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I went in for Valentine's Day dinner and while the ambiance was great, the food fell a little flat. All of our plates didn't really feel like they were off of the same menu and one of our appetizers (the fried olives) were burnt and flavorless. The food menu was quite small and nothing was perfected. The service was good and the staff memberIn charge of water refills was amazing, although we did have an incorrect plate come out. I don't think we would go back again given the price, taste of food and portion size.

In a okay walking area but great ambiance. Weather was cool but outdoor was nice and maybe an upstairs.Server was excellent as they got things even when I didn't notice like my napkin dropping.Start with the bread and it's not too much so order large size and Cesar. For main it is shareable but not too huge so risotto and lamb were great, can be selfish and just keep for yourself lol

What a major upgrade from the former sports bar! Casa Bianca offers a bright, open, and airy space with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a fun Italian themed menu.I visited on a Friday for happy hour with friends to enjoy some bites and drinks. The standout for me was the limoncello doughnut, perfectly balanced in sweetness. The trout ceviche was also excellent and paired well with my rosé.They also offer discounted cocktails, if that's more your style. Note that the menu changes seasonally, and the upstairs bar has a completely different menu, which I'm excited to try on my next visit!

Stopped by for a quick drink and dessert, and the staff was very accommodating even though there were no reservations available. I ordered an espresso martini and a Mille-feuille. The crunchy layer, made from lasagna sheets, was an interesting twist, and I really enjoyed the addition of crunchy nuts. The dessert was definitely unique. I'll come back to try the other items on their menu.

Everything we ate here was bursting with flavor from our drinks to our food! Enjoyed every single dish we ordered, and can't wait to come back! Inside is a low lighting with candles vibe, with a good amount of tables and a large bar to sit at. The front door is in the back, in the parking lot behind the building. We came on a Friday night without a reservation and were able to be sat within 15 minutes. They even took our drink orders as we were waiting. Service was knowledgeable, helpful, and fun the whole night. We ordered the spicy tuna cannolis, the mussels in absinthe butter, and the raw oysters for our appetizers. Holy mother of god if you like raw oysters these are a must order!! I would go back just for these oysters. The mignonette and chili oil create an explosion of flavor and the oysters tasted so fresh. The tuna cannolis were a close second, with the cheesy flavor on top mixed with the pepperoncini aioli and the tuna, oh my gosh, perfection. For mains, we ordered the fried chicken, the cannelloni, and the squash risotto. All of them were amazing, with the favorites being the chicken and the risotto. Only reason being, the cannelloni was just exactly what you'd expect and wasn't as unique as everything else we tried, but still great! The crepe type bread that comes with the chicken to make tacos was so moist and airy. The flavors of the chicken mixed with the whipped white beans and pickled veggies in the crepe bread all made the most delicious bite. The squash risotto was so flavorful and loved the basil in it. There was still much more on the menu I want to try and really want to come back for their happy hour!

The food and ambiance was to die for, but what really sold me was the service! We made a reservation on a busy Saturday night and the restaurant was PACKED, but god bless our server Amelia who anticipated our every need. They really went above and beyond to accommodate my shellfish allergy and other food intolerances, even requesting a gluten free fried option of the tuna cannoli to avoid cross contamination. All of her recommendations for food and drink were phenomenal and perfectly seasoned, the drink menu alone is worth a visit. 15/10, could not recommend more.
