$10 for this? This is the saddest steak nachos I have ever seen. Probably 7 chips and scraps of meat. Disappointed.

Shrimp cocktail. Sweet jumbo shrimp in sweet tomato sauce.
Chips and salsa and lime agua fresca. Tasty!

Casa Arandinas is a hidden neighborhood gem. Very unassuming place as it's tucked right in front of Mavericks dance hall and next to Double Dave's. Very unique decor, as they use whiskey barrels as bases of some of the high top tables and Western type style. Service was friendly and fast. As you sit, you'll get chips and salsa. I'd highly recommend asking for the salsa Verde (all time favorite!) I ordered the carne asada and it was amazing. I'm definitely going to have to return to try other items on the menu!

Just noticed while paying my credit card bill that my meal for 1 was over $50.Either they severly overcharged me for a draft beer, or the waitress changed her tip after I left, because I definitely don't remember the bill being that high. The steak on the nachos were overcooked and the beer wasn't as cold as it should have been. If you do go, just make sure to get an itemized receipt and save it.

Cleanliness the water they gave me when I went to eat inside the restaurant. The other day was cloudy with white particles in it, also the chips that they gave me and my wife was cold and hard looked like they served us those chips from the day before

This place is hwy robbery- menu price $29.95 then you ask for bill the price is $40.99 when it's contested they say the owner has it that way and they have to charge what their computer charges. The tea looked like mud water and the fajitas were dry I'll never go back. The place smells bad and the outside is poorly kept -$60 lunch for fajitas and 2 teas

Everything here was just ok. Nothing was out of this world and nothing was terrible. Well besides their house Margarita. Yuck! Just some cheap mix with barely any alcohol. Wasn't tasty nor fresh.Anyways I got the carne guisada plate. The rice had no flavor, the beans tasted like bbq baked beans, and the guisada had a strong condensed soup taste. It was tender nonetheless. I tried the flauta and it was flavorless. I tried the nachos as well. Those were good and packed with meat of your choice. The service was slow but pleasant, they were pretty busy when we stopped by.

Hands down one of the worst experience of my life! Because of the language barrier Requested fried fish received grilled but didn't complain, my enchiladas were not the one I wanted and they were not good but even then still didn't complain. When it came time to pay nobody knew how to operate the card machine. I could have gotten off with a meal for 4.99 of a $71. But morally I could not walk away and not pay. My boyfriend and I had to literally tell them how much we owed. Run for the hills!

Dear Californians in Texas- you know what I'm talking about when I say, Mexican food from California is not the same as the TexMex food here. This restaurant has great authentic Mexican dishes, aguas frescas and their green salsa is OMG so so addictive and delicious. The cerveza preparada is yummy and I recommend trying it if you haven't. Their horchata and limonada is refreshing and delicious. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla is wonderfully spicy and I loved it!My husband had the chicken fajita and really enjoyed! We loved the food so much we went back the next day with more family members. This place is family owned and you can tell this food is made with love! Our waiter was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and I love the decor and the incorporation of barrels in the decor.

This is $16...true, the menu stated seven shrimp, fries, tortillas, and lettuce...but this was it. The waitress seemed surprised when I asked about the omitted items. Feeling dumb to have given her 18% as a tip because even if the kitchen messed up, she should have caught it before serving. My date had horrible indigestion after her own entre, so maybe our waitress saved me from dysentery. Deeply disappointed as this had been our trusted breakfast taco place. No more. Dysentery or otherwise.Chalking it up to being charitable to local businesses. Even if they cause digestive problems.

Dad wanted food so I go somewhere new.. and just spent a couple dollars under $50 for A SMALL QUESO (with chips), 10 TORTILLAS AND 2 SMALL SWEET TEAS. $21 for my 10 tortillas. And the front desk had an attitude when I walked in the door to pick up my to go order. She couldn't even keep the look off of her face with how annoyed she was that I was walking in. They also didn't secure the lids properly and one spilled in my bag. There is absolutely nothing good about this place. I have never had such a bad experience at any restaurant in my entire life. It takes a lot to have me post a review like this.
