1st Place for Slowest Service, no they're not short on staff or didn't look like it on Saturday 2nd Place Highest priced Mexican food & margaritas in South Austin. Holy smokes...$15-$20 margaritas and the sad part is they are not strong. You're paying for the margarita flavor just not the tequila. Not one of the local places we'll ever be returning to. Best of luck to those who wanna chance it.

I was not too impressed.I ordered what I call my hangover remedy which is breakfast tacos and a tortilla soup. One chorizo and egg, one potato sausage and egg, and the soup. Works wonders I promise!Everything was Packaged nicely for me to easily transport back home which I liked! The soup had a good lid on it and was saran wrapped nicely. And the tacos were not all greasy and leaking out the bag. Good start!Once I got home I realized they left out the sausage I paid extra for to add into one of my tacos. Normally I'm very forgiving of stuff like this. If you're in a rush and busting out orders something's get over looked, but the place was dead. I saw one table inside and maybe one other to-go bag next to mine. You can't miss this, especially if you're charging for it!So that ruined that taco for me. The chorizo and egg taco was nice! Lots of flavor and the portion was good. And the soup was good, but nothing special.I live right around the corner so I may come back for a taco or two if I'm pressed for time.If I am not, I'm drive further into the south side for some good Mexican Tacos.

I don't have much nice to say. Kinda like The Oasis, just go for drinks. Food is horrible, service is horrible. Claim they ran out of silverware, but they were in a bucket at the bar. Grabbed my own napkins. My husband is smiling because he is drunk. As the other Yelper said..... The enchiladas are not right, flour tortillas and cheap queso. Just gonna let the margaritas roll and not eat.

With our first visit to Arandinas, it was a Friday Night, a table for 7 with reservations. We were seated quickly(zero wait), and the service train was ON POINT: Chips, 3 salsas, waters, drink orders. Half priced beers for HH (til 7pm).Everyone at our table really liked their food, but my Carne Asada was amazing; carne, nopalitos, grilled onions+jalepeno = it was a mixed-grill home run. Combined with homemade corn tortillas - is was phenominal. The amazing service continued thru the meal.Overall, this place was electric with the Mariachis rocking it starting at 7PM. This was a touch of the SA or the Riverwalk, but without the 70 mile drive - right here in S. Austin. We'll be back!

My old review disappeared?!?!! This is for my latest photo - So the ceviche .... the shrimp was scarce - not many were included. (Insert sad face) I requested cucumbers instead of chips however, I wish they included more slices - I felt robbed all the way around. The cheese enchilada was ok. The cheese was cheap however the sauce was exquisite!

After 2 years, we decided to give this place another shot. Had to wait over 20 mins for 4 carne asada tacos. After all that wait order came incorrectly. They were fajita tacos and not what we ordered. Service was grumpy and slow. Meat was chewy and though. Place was still dirty. Totally done with this place.2018 review was 2 stars: 1 star for servers being nice, slow but nice and 1 star for ok food. Dirty silverware, dirty tables, flat draft beer, dirty beer glass. I know this is a family business but they have been doing this ling enough to knowVincent's across the street offers much better bar, clean utensils and clean....

We've seen this restaurant go through many phases since opening. It's gone from great (packed house often) to fine to horrible (no one ever there) back to GREAT. I'm not sure what changed- probably everything and everyone. We were willing to give it another try merely because the green sauce is worth the trip always, no matter what -crack on a chip. Not only did the green sauce not disappoint, but the service was impeccable, prompt, friendly. We go for the breakfast, so I can't really speak to the other fare, but the Huevos Divorciados Plate and Huaraches With Asada Steak were fantastic. The coffee is good, the chips are addictive (aforementioned green is stellar of course, but the red is great too). Great job, new team. You've turned it around and we'll be back! And we can see the crowds coming back, so there is further proof. Keep it up!

Food quality has definitely taken a dip in the last year or so. Obviously lower quality items. Just raise your prices guys; everybody else has.

Been here a couple of times. First time was for breakfast. It's decent. Came back a while later and had lunch with my husband. It was okay. I saw a lot of people there with alcoholic drinks so naturally I wanted to go back for dinner and have a drink. I went back for dinner one day and I was surprisingly underwhelmed by my food. It was horrible! I ordered a plate that had three rolled tacos covered in queso. I don't even know what to call them bc they weren't enchiladas and definitely not flautas. Anyway, as I cut into the tacos I started to notice that there wasn't much meat in the taco. So finally after unrolling one, I confirmed what I thought, they were skimpy on the meat. The tortilla was a flour tortilla and it was raw. It was rubbery. The flour tortillas were thick and looked store bought. Definitely not homemade. (Insert stank face!) I unrolled the remainder two and pushed the tortillas to the side. I had more tortilla on my plate than I did meat. I honestly don't even remember the alcoholic drink I had. I was so disappointed I didn't even bother to get another drink. I just paid and left. I was still hungry. I gave this place another try after about a year from my last visit, thinking maybe it's been long enough that they've changed, or maybe it was just an off day for them. However this time, I ordered through one of the delivery services. Anyway I ordered at 7:45p. They close at 9. At 8:45 I get a message that my order had been cancelled. No reason, no nothing. Just cancelled. That was it. I just gave up on this place. It's not memorable and I just don't even include it in my rotation of places to eat anymore.
