"Tân My is in the top 5 best restaurants that Austin has to offer. Their food is always outstanding, never a miss. I first learned about this restaurant from a Lyft driver who was sharing his favorite Vietnamese food in Austin and Round Rock, and he said Tân My was the best and most authentic. He was not wrong! I have never dined in, so I always order to-go via phone. It is the place my partner and I order takeout the most from because the food is always delicious with ample portions that means two meals (dinner plus dinner or lunch the next day). There are multiple comfortable tables inside for those who prefer to dine-in.My favorites are the 55C crispy noodles (I get mine with just shrimp but it comes with chicken and beef for meat-eaters), 47 shrimp vermicelli with lemongrass, and 29 egg noodle soup with shrimp. The crispy noodles are thick and fried together in truly the most delicious sauce ever with fresh vegetables. My family has also loved their chicken fried rice and their rice noodle soup with chicken. Amy and David are wonderful siblings who often answer the phones and check you out, and the full family and all the staff are welcoming and make delicious food. They genuinely make you feel at home in the restaurant, and their food is a nurturing gift. They are currently closed on Sundays, so just plan ahead for your lunch or dinner. Tân My is an absolute Austin treasure. Order or stop by to be delighted today!"
"Came Christmas Eve because they were one of a select few places that were open in the area and I was craving some Vietnamese food.Came in and told them I wanted ordered to go so they gave me a menu and I ordered the grilled pork rice dish. They said it would be 15ish minutes so I said I would be back as I walked around the Chinatown plaza.Food was ready when I got back and the food was delicious and lots of it too! Will definitely be back as they have an extensive menu."

"Amazing family-based and friendly service. Has an issue with their online ordering system (Powered by Menufy which was a horrible experience, especially after a made us wait for 1 hour and still no delivery) and we eventually had to go pick it up... they covered the meal out of respect for our time as it was 1.5 hours since we ordered. Their food is also delicious, highly recommend the Saigon curry noodles! Thank y'all for being a people-centered business!"
"Amazing food, great price, quick service, cool spot.Definitely recommend!Cant go wrong with anything on the menu so go crazy."
"I stopped eating here for a while but when I get the craving for takeout, I've been ordering the vermicelli bun bowl. It comes with an egg roll and a salad with cucumbers and carrots. It's a great deal at under $13 and it's super satisfying. I'm glad Me Con is back in my life."
"On a Friday, I arrived around 5 PM, and there was no line. The service was nice and timely.P08. Eye Round Steak, Flank, Meatballs - $15 (4.5/5)The portion is generous, and the soup is light yet flavorful. For pho, you can upgrade to a large for an additional $2.50.A02. Shrimp Spring Rolls - $6 (3/5)There's a good amount of shrimp, and the peanut sauce is sweet and well-balanced. I even dipped my eye round steak in it, and it tasted great! However, the rice paper was a bit hard. This is my second time ordering it, and both times, the rice paper was tough. This place is bright and clean. It's a super popular pho spot, and there can be a line during peak hours on weekends."
"I am a huge fan of the Garlic Noodles with Chicken! Usually I pick out all the carrots but this past weekend ordered online and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask not to make it with carrots and they were more than accommodating! I also asked for extra fish sauce as I love to pour the fish sauce on my noodles and they gave me plenty! So yummy!"
"Went there for the first time. I had the egg rolls and the extra large #3. It was excellent. Definitely worth another visit!"
"My favorite banh mi shop in Austin. Not only is it affordable, but it is delicious as well. You're not going to find a place that will sell you a banh mi under $7 anymore. I've been coming here the past few months and the food is always consistent and I never really have any complaints. My usual is the dac biet special sandwich, an order of goi cuon with nem, and an ice coffee. I would say 10/10 times it taste the exactly the same as I ordered last time and it never disappoints."
"Got the Spicy Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich, the meat was nice and juicy, the overall flavor was a bit bland for me, but a good basic option for people not wanting to go out of the box on the taste buds. Wonderful amount of avocado and perfectly ripe for the topping for $2 extra. Fast service and completely fresh food."
"We have been here many times and I'm shocked I didn't review this place earlier. We went here this past weekend and it's always consistently good. I also really like their Thai ice tea which is a perfect ratio of tea and condensed milk. I've had both their beef pho and chicken pho here and both are legit. We first started coming here when we lived in cedar park. We now live in Buda and still drive up here for the pho so that should say something."
"It was delicious, fast, clean, and had large enough portions that I had dinner from the same meal! The clerks and servers were all very nice and helpful. Since it was my first time in there, they advised me on what to get. I will for sure be back! I had the wonton soup and good heavens, they basically serve it in a foot tub! Lots of food! My friend got the sliders as a starter and one of the bowls and it also looked delicious!"

I met a former colleague for lunch here today at her suggestion. I haven't been here for years and luckily we got there just before the lunch rush and didn't have to wait in line to get a seat. I need to remember to come back more often. I had forgotten how good and fresh the food was here! They do a great job getting folks a spot and serving folks quickly. The dishes are a good size so it's always nice to be able to take leftovers home. I always get confused when choosing between pho's so when my friend got her typical vermicelli with curry sauce I got the same. It was really good! The spring rolls were good too. The peanut sauce was different than I'm used to so I probably should have tried it with some other sauces they had on the table. I look forward to going back again soon!

I drive 45 minutes from Jonestown just for the Bun Thit Nuong. The flavor of the grilled pork is spot on and delicious. The service is always quick and helpful. Restaurant is very clean. Pho Saigon is where I take friends and family from out of town who crave the true flavors of Vietnam. They will continue to be on 'My Keepers List'.

The food is good but it didn't blow me away. The chicken 2-way rice is amazing though The service is quite slow. It took them a while to bring out the food and to took the payment.

Pho and banh mi were both delicious. It's typical counter-service then you sit at a numbered table and the food comes out super quick. I love their decor as well. Really cool vaulted ceilings and such.

So glad we found this place. The waiter, Anton, was so nice and inviting. The potstickers, spring rolls, and egg rolls were all fantastic!I had the pad Thai which was a nice change from other places. Not greasy or gloopy. Everything tasted fresh and lighter. My husband had beef Pho. He loved it. The broth was so clean tasking as well. We will be back soon!

Pho Phong Luu is neighbors with HK Tea. It's easy to traverse from one side to the other through the gap in the separating wall between them.Ordered a Combination Pho and their Special Bahn Mi to go. Was ready in a jiffy (less than 10 minutes) at 10:30am in the morning.Packaging:The pho came in three separate containers. Meat and noodles came in a plastic bowl, but the raw beef slices wrapped in plastic wrap were hiding underneath just above the noodles. So if you get takeout from here, it'll be good to double check before pouring the broth over. I do appreciate the wrapping of the raw sliced beef, as it prevents oxidation and getting blood on the other items. But I would place that beef on the top layer rather than the bottom so that customers are aware of the plastic wrap. I ended up transferring the contents to a ceramic bowl. The broth came in a a separate plastic container, not piping hot to avoid diffusion of any non-polymerized material into the liquid. Opening the container, there was a strong smell of star anise. I dumped the broth into a pot to heat it up. The bean sprouts, basil, and sliced jalapeños came in a separate baggie.Once the broth was ready, I poured it over the other ingredients, then added in the veggies. I opted to not add the Sriracha or Hoisin sauce (which are provided in little packets). The broth was on the lighter side, but still had a wonderful flavorful. It was not an intense dark brown beefy flavor, but a really good savory essence filled with more spices, herbs, and onions. The lengthy jalapeño slices lent a hint of spiciness. The various beef cuts contained in the dish also had very nice savory flavors (perhaps even more so than the broth!). In contrast, the tendon and tripe were less flavorful than the broth, but on the plus side they were soft and not chewy. The rice noodles. I believe their rice noodles are pre-packaged, not freshly made. Their noodles were definitely almost soft enough that if I wasn't paying close attention I might believe they were fresh rice noodles. Regardless of whether they were fresh or pre-packaged, the noodles did their job.Bahn Mi: Glorious, very slight sweetness, well-balanced savoriness. I'm definitely going to order this another time. The pickled radish, pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and bread become a platform for elevating meat fillings within.I'll definitely be going back to try out more of their menu in the near future.

"I got this for takeout through an app and I was very impressed! I got the beef meatball pho and the portion size was great. The broth was reallly good. It was my first pho in Austin and I would definitely get it again. They do charge 1.20 for hoisin which I was a little annoyed about especially because the bean sprouts came with a hoisin sauce already which I did not know. Otherwise a good selection for takeout."
"Yummy! This place is great when you need some comforting Pho and dumplings. It hit the spot perfectly and I'll definitely be returning."
"Ordered on UberEats ages it was great. Super tasty and decent portions. I really like their fried rice and pad thai. My husband said the pad se ew was good but was not a fan of the chicken wings. I also appreciate they have lots of gluten and dairy free options. I hope to dine in soon!"
"Excellent Vietnamese as well ad Thai Food. Supersize portions and friendly service. Currys are delicious"
"Love the ambience one person meal, maybe two makes you feel good in your belly the sandwich inside soup is great I eat here a lot so I really didn't have time to take a picture of the sandwich but it was good. I wish I had TV though"
"Where to start! I lived in Austin for 12 years before moving back to the Midwest, and I had never been to Sunflower!? I was working with a client who told me it was where she and her family were going to go get dinner, and I immediately order takeout that evening! The food is absolutely incredible, the staff is incredibly kind, and when you walk in, it feels like home! I am back in Austin every couple of weeks and will definitely be making my way back here! So many thank you's to the staff for sharing your beautiful food and space with us!"
"I went here for a late lunch. It is a very nice restaurant in the shopping center across from H-E-B. I walked in and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We were the only people in the restaurant. We were seated promptly. This restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese food. They have a generous menu. I was able to alter my dish to make it sugar-free. I was very impressed, because even though none of the sauces on the menu were sugar free, The server communicated my food restriction to the chef, and the chef made me a wonderful sauce with soy sauce which he mixed with corn starch to make it thicker. He then poured it over shrimp and vegetables and gave me white rice on the side. It was absolutely amazing! I totally took note of how he made that sauce, and I'm going to make it at home! I felt this was over and above, because they could've easily said, no I'm sorry we don't have anything sugar-free, but they did not! My meal was so generous that I brought half of it home to eat later. The prices were quite reasonable. We bought three main dishes, and including Tax , my bill was less than $50.I will definitely be back!"
"Service was slow and they missed the mark on two out of three dishes. Wife's Pad Thai noodles were undercooked and the meal was bland. How do you take 20 mins. to serve and have food undercooked? My shrimp pho broth was unremarkable and the noodles were in a clump at the bottom of the bowl. Much teasing with chopsticks was required to pull the mass apart. Only 5 shrimp in the bowl. If you don't give a damn about the food you are serving, find another trade. Daughter's dish was good according to her. Chicken wings came last - was the appetizer, but not now! Wings were nothing to write home about, but at least they didn't screw them up.We've eaten at some great Viet places in Little Saigon. This place would not have lasted 3 months there.Never going back."
"The atmosphere was great. They have electric plugs against the wall so if you want to hang out here and do some work and or be on your computer, this is a perfect quaint place to hangout at. The portions could be a little bit more per servings, but other then that, food was good. The owner is great with great customer service. Would definitely come back again to try the other food on their menu."
"As I was casually looking at the menu on the wall outside, I see this lady make a beeline for the door. There was no hesitation in her demeanor, this lady knew what she wanted! I stopped her right before she opened the door, I said excuse me is this place any good? She stopped and said "Oh yes it's like the best in this entire area! It's been around like forever, I've been coming here for years". So as we both walk up to the counter to make an order, she already had one waiting for her. She begins to chit chat with the man behind the counter like they knew each other by name, probably cause they did! Proof that she definitely has been coming here for years. At this point I'm like okay, this is definitely going to live up to her hype.So I ordered the Rice Clay Pot House special, cause that sounds different from my usual. There's also no way im leaving without trying the fried dumplings.Everything was amazing! I almost thought there was no rice (was at the bottom), that's how much meat and vegetables they put in my dish! I'm usually more of a fan of steamed dumplings but man these fried dumplings hit the spot as well. I walked out of that restaurant feeling like Buddha. hahaThe guys working the counter were very nice. There was no one really in the restaurant. It was kind of a ghost town which is surprising cause they had like 30 tables, I guess they have their rushes at certain times. Maybe when it's more busy they have waiters or something but it's kind of like self-serve. This place is worth checking out!"
"Our family has always ordered takeout from red lotus, but today my fiancé took us to dine in. The food is always incredible through takeout, and it's even better in person. The service is a liiiittle slow, but that's fine. The food makes it absolutely worth it. We started off ordering the sample platter appetizer and steamed dumplings. Everything was great. As usual. Then for main entrees, we orders the general tso with chicken, beef fried rice, and chicken lo mein. Everything came out in a timely manner, and my initial assumption of everything being incredible in person was absolutely correct. I can't wait to dine here again."
"I typically go to the braker location but am now closer to the Round Rock location. Once again, Pho Dan was fantastic. I've tried a couple different pho places around Austin, but I always come back to Pho Dan. This is classic pho, nothing new or fancy. The flavor is always right on point."
"Stopped by here for lunch today. I ordered the imperial chicken, pork dumplings and a Vietnamese coffee. Everything was delicious. The coffee is made cup by cup with an individual strainer. Nice to find Vietnamese coffee done the right way! Kylann was my server and he had some great recommendations, great service and overall was very knowledgeable. If you're looking for the best Vietnamese food and coffee this is the spot!"
"Very Fresh good served hot Great vegetables, Tasty noodles wonderful food service with a smile and helpful caring your food out to your car. Charming little house pleasantly placed in the neighborhood."
"This hidden gem seems to be on its third change of ownership. We're loyal customers, and happy that the food has been consistently good.We only ever order two things here: pho & ap chao. Both are always on point and served hot straight from the kitchen. The veggies and herbs are always fresh. I also love their homemade chili oil, which comes as a standard table condiment alongside the requisite sriracha, hoisin & soy.Pho Ha Noi seems to be the only place in town that has ap chao on the menu--it's absolutely delicious. One of my favorite crispy noodle dishes of all time!"
"New management = went from being a place I'd willingly drive 10+ miles to no longer a place I crave at all. Sauce for the Crab Rangoon's (sweet & sour sauce) is now orange & very corn starchy. Weirdest s&s sauce I've ever had. Chicken lo mein used to be great but now they have also changed the sauce to some thick, much lower quality choice. Very disappointed because my husband & I loved this place."
"Simple menu that is easy to order. Plenty of apps and shared plates besides just pho. The restaurant situation is order food before you sit down. Service here is always so quick. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes for my food to be served. Get the pork banh mi sliders, you will not be disappointed. So much flavor in each bite. First time ever trying a bao buns, it's looks doughy but it pulled so easily. Steak was plentiful in the pho. All toppings are served on the side which I appreciated as I do not put everything. Good portions overall, but pho size is meant for one."
"Overall, I must say the food is delicious here. Customer service was excellent. I don't eat meat, so I was a little undecided about what I would eat; however, the waitress at the counter took her time with me and had no problem explaining everything to me. The ambiance is just one of a fast food restaurant, I guess I would say, although not quite like a McDonald's or Chick-fil-A type, but it was lovely."
"Recommended by our son who lives in Kyle. The Vietnamese dishes were delicious. I went with the grilled pork, shrimp, and egg rolls vermicelli.Dishes arrived quickly and was a generous portion - yay for leftovers!Flavors were good, with no one ingredient overpowering the others.Of course, I suppose you can't review them without mentioning the robot server. Very interesting idea that I haven't seen before!"
"We had a delightful, quiet Monday evening at King noodle. The service was excellent, friendly, and quick. I had the P1 eye round steak pho which was wonderful! This will be my new place for pho! BF had B3 vermicelli charbroiled pork and he loved it! We also shared an order of pork egg rolls which came with sweet & sour sauce. They were fresh & delicious. Happily they are also close to our house and we will be back soon!"
"**First time visitor** Just got home from picking up my online order and was blown away with the food preparation/packaging and flavor! Service was excellent I walked right in to grab my takeout order. Ambiance was clean and relaxing! I had to call the store to give them kudos when I got home, it costs nothing to be nice and restaurants like this deserve the recognition! Thank you Saigon 512, I will definitely be returning!"
"Stopped by for a refreshing drink. The Thai tea is so good! $4 . The host was super nice and the place smelled tasty."
"Ordered their chicken banh mi, loaded with tons of veggies! I loved the seasoning on the chicken. It had so much flavor. They are located in a corner gas station parking lot with a few other food trucks. Kind of hard to maneuver thru. However, there is a covered seating area outside to eat. Service was quick and easy. You can even go sit in your car while your food is being prepared. They will give you a buzzer to let you know when it's ready. Will definitely come back and try their other menu items!"
