"I love Hanh's homemade food truck!!! The food is delicious and she is so nice. This time we got the Vietnamese pancake, summer rolls, lemongrass chicken skewers, and mung bean cakes with yoghurt. It was the perfect amount of food for my bf and me :) we loved it all!! 10/10 would recommend."
"Amazing family-based and friendly service. Has an issue with their online ordering system (Powered by Menufy which was a horrible experience, especially after a made us wait for 1 hour and still no delivery) and we eventually had to go pick it up... they covered the meal out of respect for our time as it was 1.5 hours since we ordered. Their food is also delicious, highly recommend the Saigon curry noodles! Thank y'all for being a people-centered business!"

"Where to start! I lived in Austin for 12 years before moving back to the Midwest, and I had never been to Sunflower!? I was working with a client who told me it was where she and her family were going to go get dinner, and I immediately order takeout that evening! The food is absolutely incredible, the staff is incredibly kind, and when you walk in, it feels like home! I am back in Austin every couple of weeks and will definitely be making my way back here! So many thank you's to the staff for sharing your beautiful food and space with us!"
"Very Fresh good served hot Great vegetables, Tasty noodles wonderful food service with a smile and helpful caring your food out to your car. Charming little house pleasantly placed in the neighborhood."
"(It is important to note in reference to this restaurant's present rating that it is based in part on prior ownership before 2022: since that time the restaurant is a substantially different place with greatly improved food and service. This is evident in the elevation of the reviews after that time.)Wok On Fire is a very good value for fresh, hot American Chinese food. The chicken wings are some of the best in the city, both fried and 'spicy'. The pork dumplings are very good--especially at that price--and the soups are always good and hot. There are other trad American Chinese dishes on the menu, but I usually succumb to the temptation to order the wings or the dumplings, with some of their soups.Ambience is plain and austere (food-to-go is big here), but the people who work here are helpful and friendly.A GREAT VALUE--RECOMMENDED"
"As I was casually looking at the menu on the wall outside, I see this lady make a beeline for the door. There was no hesitation in her demeanor, this lady knew what she wanted! I stopped her right before she opened the door, I said excuse me is this place any good? She stopped and said "Oh yes it's like the best in this entire area! It's been around like forever, I've been coming here for years". So as we both walk up to the counter to make an order, she already had one waiting for her. She begins to chit chat with the man behind the counter like they knew each other by name, probably cause they did! Proof that she definitely has been coming here for years. At this point I'm like okay, this is definitely going to live up to her hype.So I ordered the Rice Clay Pot House special, cause that sounds different from my usual. There's also no way im leaving without trying the fried dumplings.Everything was amazing! I almost thought there was no rice (was at the bottom), that's how much meat and vegetables they put in my dish! I'm usually more of a fan of steamed dumplings but man these fried dumplings hit the spot as well. I walked out of that restaurant feeling like Buddha. hahaThe guys working the counter were very nice. There was no one really in the restaurant. It was kind of a ghost town which is surprising cause they had like 30 tables, I guess they have their rushes at certain times. Maybe when it's more busy they have waiters or something but it's kind of like self-serve. This place is worth checking out!"
"I'm obsessed with Pho With Us! I recently had the pleasure of trying their pho, and let me tell you, it's hands-down the best I've ever had. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the generous portion of tender beef was cooked just right. I did end up taking my remaining food home and it was equally delicious the next day. The service was great. When we first arrived, the restaurant was only partially filled. But by the time we were leaving, it was full and there was a wait to be seated with a busy atmosphere. So be sure to get there early if you're visiting for dinner."
"**First time visitor** Just got home from picking up my online order and was blown away with the food preparation/packaging and flavor! Service was excellent I walked right in to grab my takeout order. Ambiance was clean and relaxing! I had to call the store to give them kudos when I got home, it costs nothing to be nice and restaurants like this deserve the recognition! Thank you Saigon 512, I will definitely be returning!"
"Simple menu that is easy to order. Plenty of apps and shared plates besides just pho. The restaurant situation is order food before you sit down. Service here is always so quick. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes for my food to be served. Get the pork banh mi sliders, you will not be disappointed. So much flavor in each bite. First time ever trying a bao buns, it's looks doughy but it pulled so easily. Steak was plentiful in the pho. All toppings are served on the side which I appreciated as I do not put everything. Good portions overall, but pho size is meant for one."
"Tried Pho Wok for the first time. Ordered the combination Singapore noodles. The noodles were very tasty.I will be back to try more different dishes."
"I brought my mom here to check out the food truck for our Friday lunch together, and we were both very impressed by the food. We both got traditional Vietnamese dishes to assess how good they were, and they definitely passed our sniff test. As it turns out, they have a restaurant in Houston and are trying to expand into the Austin area. This explains why they were so good, since the best spots in Texas are in Houston and DFW.The food was super fresh and very well seasoned. Their fish sauce is very nice and light, not overly sweet or salty like a lot of them tend to be. It complements rather than overpowers the other flavors. The servings were very ample, and there was a lot of meat. It was a little challenging eating it all in styrofoam boxes, but that's true with pretty much all food trucks. The owners were super nice and friendly guys. We chatted with them while we ate, and they kept checking on us. There was a steady stream of people during lunch. A lot of it was take-out, but we really enjoyed eating there. They're in a food truck park on Dessau Road, and every truck has it's own cabana that serves as it's own private, patio dining area. Super cute. The day was pleasant, and they had a huge chilling fan, so why not eat there. We plan on going back again to try some of their other dishes now that we know they're legit and the quality is excellent!"
"Came Christmas Eve because they were one of a select few places that were open in the area and I was craving some Vietnamese food.Came in and told them I wanted ordered to go so they gave me a menu and I ordered the grilled pork rice dish. They said it would be 15ish minutes so I said I would be back as I walked around the Chinatown plaza.Food was ready when I got back and the food was delicious and lots of it too! Will definitely be back as they have an extensive menu."

Was excited to see this place in the trailer park off south first. We wanted to place an order for pick up but no one answered the phone for the entire evening. Not great. I went and ordered in person and just had to wait. The gal wasn't very helpful when ordering. I kept asking what she recommended for her food and she kept trying to give me desert. I wanted food suggestions not desert but it's all that was continuing to be recommended. I ordered a beef pho, a special bahn Mi, pork steamed buns and some chicken skewers. Nothing was really that good. The beef in the pho was gross. I couldn't even eat it. It tasted like processed hotdogs. It was cut really thick, and it ultimately was not edible to me. The broth was tasty, but there were not enough noodles. The sandwich was soggy and really didn't have very good flavor. I also don't think the meat in it was good. Felt like processed sandwich meat heated up. The skewers were pretty good but I was turned off by all the other things. Pork buns were OK. We wouldn't go back.

The food is good but it didn't blow me away. The chicken 2-way rice is amazing though The service is quite slow. It took them a while to bring out the food and to took the payment.

Sunflower Vietnamese is an absolute gem in Austin! It's rare to find a restaurant in Texas that serves banh xeo, and even rarer to find one that does it as perfectly as they do here. The banh xeo is a masterpiece--crispy, golden, and loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Every bite had the perfect balance of crunch and freshness, and the portion size was impressively generous. You could taste the care in how it was prepared, with high-quality ingredients and authentic techniques.Beyond the food, the service was welcoming, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. If you're looking for a place that nails traditional Vietnamese dishes, especially banh xeo, look no further. Sunflower Vietnamese is a must-visit for anyone craving fresh, authentic flavors!

I'm back in town at Canyon Lake. This restaurant was our first stop. They have the freshest best Chinese Vietnamese food I've ever ordered. The Larry special and the everything fried rice are my two favorites and the ragoons too.

Had a great experience with take out for the whole family. The chicken lo mein was strong, shrimp w veggies fresh and snappy, and the egg rolls on point. Whole family of four ate well for $35 with a take out tip. Victory! This poor place is getting battered by picky reviews. Is it the best Chinese? Certainly not, but it's clean, approachable and high value.

BEWARE!!! I am giving Kim Phung 1 star because they are being dishonest and are impersonating Super Thai Cuisine on both Door Dash and Grubhub. Yesterday, I ordered what I thought was Super Thai Cuisine on Door Dash and paid over $40. My delivery driver then delivered an order from Kim Phung. I tried reporting this to Door Dash but they said a merchant is allowed to name themselves whatever they'd like to on their platform. I think it's dishonest and wrong of Kim Phung to impersonate another establishment (one that nearly has 5 stars) for financial gain. Yelpers, please know that if you try to order Super Thai Cuisine online and you see "7601 N Lamar Blvd" you are getting Kim Phung and not Super Thai!! Go in person and stay off Door Dash and Grubhub! If you look at Kim Phung's other reviews, it looks like in the past they have also impersonated other Austin restaurants. So wrong!!

Parking is plentiful and the dining room is comfortable with both booths and tables. The waitstaff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was amazing. We started off with 4 shareable- the Brussel sprouts, salt & pepper shrimp, fried cheese wontons and fried pork dumplings. I think our favorites were the Brussel sprouts and the dumplings. Hubby got the Pho Seafood and was really pleased. He said it is bursting with flavor. The noodles are epic and it was full of shrimp, scallops and fish balls. It was around 4p on a Monday when we came in and there wasn't much of a crowd, but as we leisurely noshed the crowd picked up. The staff stayed attentive even though they started getting a rush. We will be back for sure!

I appreciated they have some of the most authentic Viet dishes on their menu and I think they might be the only restaurant doing it alright in the area. We ordered Bot Chien and Bun Dau Mam Tom. Food was ok, not exceptional but still pretty ok with the price range. Bot Chien was missing the special sauce on the side and the vermicelli in Bun Dau was a bit dried and broken. The sauce and meat + tofu in Bun Dau were pretty good. Service was quick and friendly, they forgot the sauce for the Bot Chien but they gave us the sweet fish sauce which was ok too. The vibe was pretty nice, we went for lunch but I could imagine this place more busy and fun during dinner time.

"Youngest daughter, grandson, and I had lunch today at Saigon Quan. Lunch specials are very good, with reasonable prices.Service was excellent. Restaurant and restroom were spotless. Ambiance was better than okay.I had the lunch special with hot and sour soup and General Tso's Chicken.Daughter and grandson had Egg Drop Soup and Combination Fried Rice. Very generous portions. The only negative - the egg roll definitely needs work and I wish they offered Vietnamese Spring Rolls.Parking was adequate in this small neighborhood center at the corner of South Bend and Metric. Getting in and exiting the parking lot was easy.We are looking forward to our next visit."
"Ordered their chicken banh mi, loaded with tons of veggies! I loved the seasoning on the chicken. It had so much flavor. They are located in a corner gas station parking lot with a few other food trucks. Kind of hard to maneuver thru. However, there is a covered seating area outside to eat. Service was quick and easy. You can even go sit in your car while your food is being prepared. They will give you a buzzer to let you know when it's ready. Will definitely come back and try their other menu items!"
"Always, best late night spot and the best person to run it! Best low mein, sauce and everything these late nights."
"Recommended by our son who lives in Kyle. The Vietnamese dishes were delicious. I went with the grilled pork, shrimp, and egg rolls vermicelli.Dishes arrived quickly and was a generous portion - yay for leftovers!Flavors were good, with no one ingredient overpowering the others.Of course, I suppose you can't review them without mentioning the robot server. Very interesting idea that I haven't seen before!"
"KAPATAD is an authentic and family-owned filipino restaurant in austin. i'm so glad places like this exist because the food just reminds me of home. my favorite order is their lechon kiwali. i tried their special mango sago drink today and it was yum!! the owner and staff are all hardworking, sweet, and welcoming. definitely worth a visit."
"Atmosphere is clean open and inviting. Has a "hole-in-the wall" vibe (yet still clean) WOW THE FOOD IS SO SO SO DELICIOUS. THEY COOK IT TO PERFECTION! Very flavorful, the first bite my daughter too she shouted "oh my! There is NO NEED FOR ANY OF the extra sauces! They made this perfect!" The service is quick and kind, ***the food is a hidden treasure! It came out so quick, nice and fresh and hot! Please try this place THIS IS OUR FIRST time (& it said it's under NEW MANAGEMENT!)"
"I stopped by last night to grab some food to go.....Let's go!Lobster fried rice Lobster fried rice has an amazing robust flavor. This lobster fried rice is made with lobster tails, jasmine rice, veggies, and a few other simple ingredients. The lobster is really designed to be the star of the show, but it gets a lot of help from all the flavors working with it in every bite. The lobster for the dish is a bit light on taste but as noted above the corn, onion and light spices make the dish work. In the future, I'd elect to purchase the crab fried rice as it may be sweeter in taste than the lobster. Salt and pepper shrimp The shrimp for this dish were tender. To achieve this tenderness, the shrimp must be marinated and after marinating, the shrimp are quickly blanched in hot oil until they are cooked through. This process forms a thin coating around the shrimp, sealing in moisture and preventing them from becoming tough or rubbery during further cooking in stir-fries or other dishes. The salt and pepper seasoning on the shrimp coupled with jalapenos, fresh carrot and onion took this dish up a notch. This to-go meal from order to packing took approximately 15 minutes (love the expeditiousness of this establishment) and costs $42.17 before tip. #supportlocal"
"Service was slow and they missed the mark on two out of three dishes. Wife's Pad Thai noodles were undercooked and the meal was bland. How do you take 20 mins. to serve and have food undercooked? My shrimp pho broth was unremarkable and the noodles were in a clump at the bottom of the bowl. Much teasing with chopsticks was required to pull the mass apart. Only 5 shrimp in the bowl. If you don't give a damn about the food you are serving, find another trade. Daughter's dish was good according to her. Chicken wings came last - was the appetizer, but not now! Wings were nothing to write home about, but at least they didn't screw them up.We've eaten at some great Viet places in Little Saigon. This place would not have lasted 3 months there.Never going back."
"Love the ambience one person meal, maybe two makes you feel good in your belly the sandwich inside soup is great I eat here a lot so I really didn't have time to take a picture of the sandwich but it was good. I wish I had TV though"
"I'm shocked, but in a good way. Presentation nice but flavor even better. Highly recommend!!!"
"We had a delightful, quiet Monday evening at King noodle. The service was excellent, friendly, and quick. I had the P1 eye round steak pho which was wonderful! This will be my new place for pho! BF had B3 vermicelli charbroiled pork and he loved it! We also shared an order of pork egg rolls which came with sweet & sour sauce. They were fresh & delicious. Happily they are also close to our house and we will be back soon!"
"On a Friday, I arrived around 5 PM, and there was no line. The service was nice and timely.P08. Eye Round Steak, Flank, Meatballs - $15 (4.5/5)The portion is generous, and the soup is light yet flavorful. For pho, you can upgrade to a large for an additional $2.50.A02. Shrimp Spring Rolls - $6 (3/5)There's a good amount of shrimp, and the peanut sauce is sweet and well-balanced. I even dipped my eye round steak in it, and it tasted great! However, the rice paper was a bit hard. This is my second time ordering it, and both times, the rice paper was tough. This place is bright and clean. It's a super popular pho spot, and there can be a line during peak hours on weekends."
"Such a hidden gem. The service is a little slow but the wait is worth it for the food. I've never gotten something I haven't liked before."
"Parking - plenty; shared parking lotTakeout - yesDelivery - no (but I wish!); not on uber eitherFood - Curries and pho is really good! Good portions, flavorful, savory. Not over-salted. Happy that there are vegetarian options here.Service - The staff is always friendly and helpful."
"Very consistent with fresh, hot food. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Excellent dine-in customer service. Ordering to go, however, is straight to the point and terse."
"This review is very near and dear to my heart for many reasons. Firstly, this food truck is ran by the nuns at Huê Lâm temple! My family goes to this temple and these were the same nuns who led the funeral procession at my aunt's funeral. The head nun built the food truck from the ground up with her savings and the temple survives off of donations and the nuns and volunteers' hard work. So, all of the proceeds of this food truck also goes straight to supporting the temple. :)Definitely check this food truck out even if you are not vegan/vegetarian. The price is super reasonable and the food is delicious. My Vietnamese mother and relatives love this spot since this is the same food that is cooked for temple-goers. Now, they can have it whenever they want. There is plenty of parking space in the lot. Once parked, just follow the signs to the truck in the back. It is not loud at all so it's a great spot for a peaceful and quiet lunch. There is not a lot of seatings so I recommend ordering take-away. Also, they take both card and cash! Try out all of the dishes - you will not be disappointed.Lastly, visit their website for any updates before going. They close from time to time for religious reasons and/or repairs to the truck: https://www.bodhivietvegans.com/"
"Went there for the first time. I had the egg rolls and the extra large #3. It was excellent. Definitely worth another visit!"
"We were a little nervous about finding good Asian food after moving to Manor from north Austin. Pho Yes has more than eased our worries, and it's become our main go-to spot for takeout. This place has come in clutch when hosting family and friends since it's conveniently located less than 5 minutes from our house. Ordering online is easy and convenient, and the food is always ready by the time we arrive. Our favorite dish at the moment is the Orange Beef, and we also love the Chicken Broccoli and Lemongrass Chicken. We haven't actually tried the pho, but that might change now that the weather is cooling down."
"I wanted to try a different type of Pho and tried most, but this by far wins the closest Pho that I have had. It has incredible flavorful succulent dishes. I wanted to seat outside which was a nice evening. So the waiter was nice and friendly and enjoyed sitting in the Patio. The coconut shrimp was not the package frozen that most restaurants have this was actually cooked very well by the chef. I was pleasantly surprised by the crispy light and tasty. The service could have been better since they forgot my silverware but was corrected immediately. For my surprise they do not have a liquor license so bring your own bottle is permitted. I did visit four months ago and they told me they are working on getting a liquor license soon. But still haven't happened.food is plentiful and definitely highly recommend this location. Parking easy handicapped parking very close to door. I will be returning for trying new dishes with photos so all can view! Happy yelping!"
"Tân My is in the top 5 best restaurants that Austin has to offer. Their food is always outstanding, never a miss. I first learned about this restaurant from a Lyft driver who was sharing his favorite Vietnamese food in Austin and Round Rock, and he said Tân My was the best and most authentic. He was not wrong! I have never dined in, so I always order to-go via phone. It is the place my partner and I order takeout the most from because the food is always delicious with ample portions that means two meals (dinner plus dinner or lunch the next day). There are multiple comfortable tables inside for those who prefer to dine-in.My favorites are the 55C crispy noodles (I get mine with just shrimp but it comes with chicken and beef for meat-eaters), 47 shrimp vermicelli with lemongrass, and 29 egg noodle soup with shrimp. The crispy noodles are thick and fried together in truly the most delicious sauce ever with fresh vegetables. My family has also loved their chicken fried rice and their rice noodle soup with chicken. Amy and David are wonderful siblings who often answer the phones and check you out, and the full family and all the staff are welcoming and make delicious food. They genuinely make you feel at home in the restaurant, and their food is a nurturing gift. They are currently closed on Sundays, so just plan ahead for your lunch or dinner. Tân My is an absolute Austin treasure. Order or stop by to be delighted today!"
"1618 has been at the top of my restaurant rankings ever since I moved to Austin! A beautifully decorated, warm and inviting gem in East Riverside, this restaurant has yet to disappoint me. My favorite dishes from the past 5 times I have come here are:Pineapple fried rice: plated in half a pineapple, it is an endless pit of savory rice. I like how generous the portion is and the variety of ingredients in this dish.Pad thai: flavorful and on the spicier side. I heard their crispy pad thai is also tasty!Pho (rib and fmigon): I remember the presentation was fun for this dish, with the server pouring the soup onto the bowl of noodles! The flavor was slightly different from the Pho I usually have at Vietnamese restaurants, but I believe it is adopted from a different region. Still delicious! XLB: full of soup and very tasty. Well balanced appetizer! My family was impressed with the authenticity of this dish in particular."
"My drink was WONDERFUL, and the service was quick & pleasant! I ordered the Crème Brûlée Coffee- it was slightly bitter as it's a Vietnamese coffee, HOWEVER, the foam on top plus the pudding balanced it all out perfectly. Inside there are plenty of seating options, games for all group sizes, internet for those trying get work done, and a very cute design aesthetic!"
"It's a small mom and pop shop, simple decorations, but very authentic feel. Service is excellent. The broth is so delicious and a level 4 out of 10 spicy. Adding a couple of lime squeezes will bring out the perfect balance in flavor. No need to add any extra seasonings."
