"I came to this food truck on Friday with The Things (the same day and time I came to Laliguras as these trucks are in the same food truck lot). For those of my Yelp peeps who have read my reviews, y'all know I love some Tom Yum! Tom Yum Goong is a classic Thai-style hot and sour soup. The word "tom" refers to the boiling process, while "yum" translates to "mixed." Tom yum goong nam sai is tom yum with shrimp in a clear broth, while Tom Yum Goong Nam Khon is the creamy milky version. I ordered and prefer the clear version. Flavored with lemongrass, Thai red chiles, garlic, galangal, lime leaves, soy sauce, cremini mushrooms, lime juice, and cilantro, Tom Yum is complex, yet comforting. What I love most about Tom Yum is the flavors of lemongrass, Thai chilies, and fresh lime juice that all combine to create a healthy and soothing broth that will light up your taste buds. The version served here was not only hot with heat, but it was authentic and packed a solid punch. Thing Two ordered Tom yum with chicken and was just as pleased with this soup as I was. Coconut Shrimp Coconut shrimp with an irresistible, guaranteed crunch in every bite. super crispy on the outside, succulent shrimp on the inside -- it doesn't get any better! These shrimp were plump and fresh and were evenly coated with crisp coconut. Thing Two thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer of four shrimp. #supportlocal"
"Came in just for desert (I have ordered food to go and it was very good) Ordered the mango sticky rice and the fried banana and ice cream. The mango sticky rice wasn't bad but I believe we were hoping to have more mango flavor in the rice and not just topped with mango. The fried bananas could use a knife and also just lack a bit of flavor. My personal favorite variation of this comes from shockingly P.F. Chang's and they add some vanilla and caramel drizzle on top and I think I was hoping for a little bit more from both dishes. The service was prompt and even in our short visit our waters were refilled multiple times and staff and attentive.I still highly recommended for dinner."

"We found this place while exploring Google Maps and were drawn to the Thai food. As soon as we sat down, I had a strong feeling that I was in for an authentic meal when I noticed the restaurant playing Thai pop music.Monday was a great day to visit, as they offered a weekday lunch special: $14 for a spring roll, a soup, and an entrée. We both decided to go for the special after discovering that the soup of the day was Tom Yum! One of us chose tofu, and the other chose chicken. The vegetarian spring roll was crispy and paired really well with the semi-sweet sauce. The sourness of the Tom Yum soup was the perfect appetizer to kickstart our appetite. I want to mention the surprising amount of food packed into this seemingly small cup of soup: a big chunk of tomato, onions, mushroom chunks, and 4 pieces of tofu! I wasn't expecting such a hearty portion and was pleasantly surprised. The amount of soup in the cup was also more than enough. As we were finishing our appetizers, our entrées arrived. We ordered Chicken Pad See Ew with 2 chili (spicy) and Chicken Massaman Curry with 3 chili (medium spicy). The Chicken Pad See Ew was heavily flavored--maybe a little salty--but it smelled wonderful and absolutely delicious. The thick noodles were packed with flavor, making for a satisfying combination with the protein and vegetables. The curry sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste, but once again, the bowl was filled with food. The portion of chicken was generous, the potatoes were cut into large pieces and cooked just right, and I especially enjoyed the crunchy peanuts that added extra texture. The server was friendly and attentive, checking on us several times throughout the meal. I also appreciated the slice of lemon in the ice water. When I inquired about vegetarian options, I was told they offer vegetable stock-based sauces that can make the dishes vegetarian! We cleaned all our plates and bowls except for the curry. I'd definitely want to visit again and maybe try other à la carte dishes, appetizers, or desserts next time!"
"Pad Thai Shrimp was deliciousSmall takeaway place near Sid's Monkey. You will come back if you try it once"
"I have been coming here since I was a student at Southwestern! I really love the flavor of the dishes as well as the generous portion sizes. I'm glad to see they're doing well - they recently added booths, expanding the seating inside. Jaiwai is an essential when visiting Georgetown and adds variety to the square!"
"Great food, I get the spring rolls , the Thai chicken wings, and the Pa Nang Thai curry. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Been going here for years. Definitely my go-to Thai food place."
"Blown away with this Thai spot! The woman working was not only welcoming and incredibly kind, but she made our dish authentically spicy per request and it came out AMAZING!So great to know that there is an Thai place that serves food that tastes fresh and authentic instead of greasy and heavy. We were able to sit outside in the shade and enjoy such a great meal.We got her pad Thai and will be back to try everything else!"
"Solid thai food from friendly staff at a nice food truck setting. The location is very convenient, right on manor road. We ordered 3-4 dishes and it took about 20 mins or so to be prepared which i thought was reasonable. The food had good flavor and the portions were solid. I quite liked the dishes we ordered, the green curry was very solid with a nice balanced flavor. The pad see eaw was just okay, a bit of a weird flavor to me. I will say that it wasn't as spicy as I was expecting, so I would recommend ordering a higher spice level than you normally would if you like spicy food. Solid overall but didn't blow me away."
"Had just left watching the bats on Congress bridge when we felt kind of hungry. Stopped in at The Picnic food truck park. A lot of the food trucks were already closed. Just a couple open. I got Pad Thai at Coat & Thai. Really hit the spot. I didn't think I was that hungry, but once I started, I was inhaling it. Noodles are cooked perfectly, very tasty. Lots of flavor. They gave a lot of crushed peanuts on the side. And a juicy lime wedge. The noodles them self were wrapped in foil to keep warm. I got some napkins and chop sticks at their food truck stand. The park itself is pretty big. The trucks are in an outer circle around the picnic tables. It's mostly covered. It's in the dirt, so don't wear your bright white shoes. Had a great view of the full moon. Which was wonderful. Food was delicious and the service was friendly."
"As someone who gets sick often, finding a go-to noodle soup spot is a must and Tuk Tuk is officially it. The staff here are incredibly kind, providing some of the best service around. It's all counter service but they have a nice outdoor patio. They also run an affordable convenience shop stocked with Asian pantry staples at prices that feel straight out of 2010.Their beef noodle soup is exceptional; I even used the broth for my next two meals because it was that good. My partner is a fan of their flavorful Thai curries too. Between the heartwarming dishes and the amazing service, this spot is a solid choice."
"I recently visited Gotji's Thai Food, and it was an incredible experience. The dishes were sooo flavorful and delicious, served piping hot, which made every bite a delight. One of the best parts was the ample parking available, making it very convenient to visit. The person who took my order also cooked the food, and they were super nice, adding a personal touch to the experience. Although the ambience is that of an outdoor food truck, it's absolutely worth it for the quality of the food and the warm service. Highly recommend!"
"Very good take out. Recommend the Pad Thai and the egg rolls, including the veggie ones."

We ordered the Pad Ka Prow and Pad Thai via UberEats. The dishes were cooked well and tasted authentic i.e., it wasn't watered down. Beware: the medium spicy has some heat to it if you like it hot. I'm glad we have new go-to place in Leander now! Can't wait to eat in-person :)

Food: excellent skewers. The sauce for the pork skewers was amazing. I added it to the jasmine rice and it just changes the flavor. The pad thai was cooked to perfection and noodles and seasoning very well done.Service: they make recommendations, they are very nice, you will never get thirsty and they ensure you have water every second.Ambiance: Perfect for a date, casual meeting or lunch, a small group family or you can get the entire restaurant. It is a small but appropriate. The music is not super loud like other places and you can have nice conversations.Price: great pricing. It is average for the area and very fair for the amount and quality

One of the best Thai food. Came here with Vegan Jain Friend, and for a change I also tried Vegan way and it was really good. We went their for dinner and ordered Fried Tofu, Spring Roll, Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Red Curry., and every single item was perfectly cooked.I highly recommend this place. And no I am not vegan, next time will try their meat options and will share my review. :)#vegan #Jain #noIamnotvegan :)

"Soo glad Correa came to Taylor!! We have had a really great experience the two times we have picked up food! I do wish they would hook up with Favor so we could get it delivered!"
"Food truck...it's all the craze and has been for a few years now. You'd hope that one that sits in a food truck park all day every day would be good, right? Well, it is!I can't say I've had Thai food from a truck before and was a tad skeptical, but it was fantastic. Super flavourful and a good amount of spice. I'd say it could've used a bit more of the "protein", but I'm still thinking about how good it was and that overtakes that complaint.Try it!"
"First time at Sip Sam Thai and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place values customer service. The staff was warm and attentive, making sure my dining experience was top-notch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen, making it feel like the perfect spot for both a casual lunch or a cozy dinner date.Cleanliness: The restaurant was spotless, which made me feel comfortable and assured that they take great care in maintaining their space.Food: I started with the Thai coffee, which was absolutely delicious - rich, smooth, and the perfect way to kick off my meal. For appetizers, I tried the spring rolls, and they were a standout! The basil inside really added a fresh, aromatic flavor that paired perfectly with the shrimp, rice noodles, and vegetables. The peanut sauce was the perfect accompaniment -- I couldn't get enough of it! I also ordered the calamari, which was fried to perfection with a light, crispy texture. The dipping sauce that came with it was just the right balance of tangy and savory. For my entrée, I had the papaya salad with shrimp (spicy), and I must say, this was one of the best papaya salads I've ever had! The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the balance of spice, sweetness, and crunch was absolutely perfect. I could eat this every day!Overall Experience: I wholeheartedly recommend Sip Sam Thai to anyone. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch break or a place for a nice date night, this spot offers both. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy amazing food, and feel well taken care of. I'll definitely be back!Rating: 10/10. Highly recommend!"
"Fantastic! How lucky are you, Lost Creek, to have this jewel sitting in your neighborhood. Prices are great, portions perfect and omg so tasty. The Pad Thai with chicken is delicious. She uses red and purple cabbage and the flavors are spot on. I missed bean sprouts but definitely see the challenges in a food truck. Next time I'll try a curry. Cannot wait to go back!"
"Consistently and always great, food is great, take away experience was very organized. Best prices for Thai in the area."
"I've only ordered take out from here so I can't speak to the location or service. The food though, I've had many times. The Tom yum soup is my favorite in south Austin! Such great authentic flavor. The pad Thai is also so great, I wish they gave bigger portions because it's a little small but probably best so I have some control :)"
"I have no recollection of what this mall is called, but luckily I do remember that I grabbed some food at the Ruby Thai Kitchen in the food court upstairs. I stopped here fairly early in the day and I was the only customer when I got on line. The choices here were pretty typical with some rice, chicken sides, and a few others that I didn't really pay attention too. I ended up just ordering the mango chicken with fried rice on the side. The food was honestly much better then I anticipated, especially for a mall food court. The mango chicken was absolutely delicious and had some truly unique sauce on it. They gave me a pretty hearty portion and when you mix that with the rice I had a pretty solid meal.Overall, this place is doing mall food courts right and serving good food at fair prices. If you decide to eat here, you will not be disappointed!"
"Wow! Great find! Went to this location to visit another food truck and perused the lot. Ended up eating here for lunch and taking Q home for the following day.First, very nice customer service. :)Second, a relatively large menu to choose from.Third, very reasonable prices.Lastly, everything was friggin delicious! Lol. Tried the tofu green curry, ordered spicy. "Are you sure?" with grin. 'Yes!" Flavor bomb, not too spicy. Everything balanced, total perfection, and very large serving size. Honestly, enough to share for two with an app - or leftovers, personally love! The chicken satay appetizer (not on regular menu) was cooked fantastically, very juicy, peanut sauce nomnomnomnom, and came with four large skewers. $8! Yay!The crab rangoons were honestly the best I've ever had in my life, and that's saying something. I have had hundreds. These were plump and generously filled with delicious crab cheese mix, not greasy, totally smashable. Not just fried wonton with a pinch of filling. Overall, I highly recommend you run, don't walk. Just please be careful not to trip. ;) I'm definitely returning to work my way through the entire menu. Happy happy!"
"Some of the best Thai I've ever had. The service is wonderful and everything came out quickly even though they were busy. I love that you can also grocery shop in here! We tried the spring rolls 8/10, Tom Kha gai 10/10, pad woon sen 9/10, chicken fried rice 9/10. I drove 45 minutes to have Thai food, and I'll do it again for this food!!"
"I cannot recommend ka prow enough. Seriously please go here. The staff is so fantastic and the food is incredible. You will not leave hungry. Also please try their desserts! They are so so delicious!! I love this place with all of my heart and tell everyone who asks about food in and around Pflugerville to go here ASAP. Everything I have had here has been delicious. My go to order is the bacon fried rice but I've had the pad Thai, pad see ew, Panang curry, and the pad woo sen and have always enjoyed my meal. I love their desserts as well. The layered crepe cakes are my favorite when they have them but the tiramisu and crème brûlées are so good here as well. The servers here as so so incredible I cannot speak of them highly enough. There is one man who is there most of the time and I am unfortunately forgetting his name but he's so great at hospitality. He remembers us every time we come in, he seems genuinely concerned about everyone's experience and he's so funny and nice. I love the family owned vibes of this place and how there's normally a kid doodling or doing homework in the corner it is just so calming and great in here. They also have nice bathrooms which is a plus. This is by far one of my favorites in Pflugerville and, honestly the Austin area, I love ka prow with all my heart."
"It is time for the 5th star. I have been here 13 times, tried many dishes, eaten at their cute tables, eaten in the car, taken food home, and also took home leftovers and reheated it the next day. All passed! They couple who have this tiny food truck are extremely nice and quite obviously know what they are doing. I ALWAYS ask for Thai spicy for any of the dishes to get the endorphins running. If there is not a line, I will hang by the window and watch the vegetables being prepared and the dishes being put together. I have never been disappointed. This is more eastern Thai than Bangkok style that is mimicked so much in the USA. Even while I am eating in other Thai places, Banthai Express keeps coming to my mind. Other places I try to do adjustments such as Thai spicy, but it is usually an epic fail. These people will adjust to anything you wish and even suggest what is the tastiest of the day. They do a thriving take-out business, but what I love is sitting at one of the tables, wiping sweat off my brow and talking to a newbie and making suggestions. There are fancier places, but this is like being back in a working class neighborhood in the flatlands. I have eaten at many Thai places, here and in Thailand, and this reminds me more each time of eating at a bench in a rural Thai market. The lunch specials are well priced and quite filling. Some of the a'la carte items run about $10.00 but you are talking about some serious food. There are other very good places that have Thai food, but this is a great working class style that I so desperately seek. No fruh-fruh lives here. Give it a try."
"Parking - plenty; shared parking lotTakeout - yesDelivery - no (but I wish!); not on uber eitherFood - Curries and pho is really good! Good portions, flavorful, savory. Not over-salted. Happy that there are vegetarian options here.Service - The staff is always friendly and helpful."
"I had high hopes for Mai Thai. Seems like a nice little place close to ACC and the hotel we were staying at. Very friendly folks. Came here to get some chicken pad thai, clear noodle soup with chicken and pad kra pow to go. Unfortunately, the food was just so-so. Both the pad thai and clear noodle soup were flavorless. The pad kra pow was very salty. Maybe an off night, but it was pretty disappointing."
"1618 has been at the top of my restaurant rankings ever since I moved to Austin! A beautifully decorated, warm and inviting gem in East Riverside, this restaurant has yet to disappoint me. My favorite dishes from the past 5 times I have come here are:Pineapple fried rice: plated in half a pineapple, it is an endless pit of savory rice. I like how generous the portion is and the variety of ingredients in this dish.Pad thai: flavorful and on the spicier side. I heard their crispy pad thai is also tasty!Pho (rib and fmigon): I remember the presentation was fun for this dish, with the server pouring the soup onto the bowl of noodles! The flavor was slightly different from the Pho I usually have at Vietnamese restaurants, but I believe it is adopted from a different region. Still delicious! XLB: full of soup and very tasty. Well balanced appetizer! My family was impressed with the authenticity of this dish in particular."
"So this is a food truck off of Highway 71. Don't be scared away from the whole food truck on the side of the road thing. The food is pretty great. You can order in advance or order roadside. The food is made to order and made quickly. Definitely get the pad Thai. Cashew Chicken is fantastic with the sweet bites if pineapple. Don't forget to get and order or Spring Rolls- Always a nice accompaniment to the hot dishes."
"Awesome service! So nice to come to a place and don't be rushed out the door. The food is very tasty. I've been here before and ordered takeout.I love their pad thai. I've been meaning to try the mango ice cream dessert. Next time for sure."
"Love this restaurant/bar! It is rare that I find a restaurant where the vibe is on point, food is delicious, and the staff are full of enthusiasm for guests to be comfortable and happy!!My only recommendation would be they stay open later. They close at 10pm!!This is a long review so start with key notes & if you want details & photos keep reading....**Notes**- Restaurant & Bar Vibe is electric & inspiring- Food is Fresh traditional Thai & Fusion! Lots of variety but not too much that they don't have specialties dishes.- Great Date Night; dim lighted areas for romantic conversation vibe or section with a dance floor disco ball, small stage for live music, and a bar.- Good for solo eating - Amble bar space & will sit singles at tables- Karaoke & Live Music on certain nights - all ages & types of music- Sports - TV & screen- Drinks - They have a full bar with many Sake varieties (sparkng, flavored, non-flavored, cold, hot, etc.)- Patio with fans, heat, lights...very beautiful at night- Ample parking (safe & lots of lights)**DETAILS**I was greeted swiftly & felt literally catered to the whole visit and they were jammed backed.Mind you, I had ordered online for takeaway & a drink while I waited because the vibe was so amazing. I ended up staying & leaving 2 hours later because it was so much fun!The first time I came during the soft opening week, the bartender had recommended a sake back then but I couldn't remember which one.The bartender not only remembered me, but also where I sat, & the Sake so I could order it again.Wow!!! Talk about attentive bartender that is always on their A game!!!They had these beautiful glasses that the Sparkling Sake was served in. I really appreciated that given it was an expensive (fully worth it) Sake.As I sat at the bar waiting on my takeaway, I admired the beautiful glass of Sake.Thank you to the manager/owner who saw me appreciating the beauty of the glass. He said, "If you like that glass, you should see the new ones." Then he came back a few moments later with another bottle of Sake on the house (attentive to what I had been drinking & didn't care of the cost but that I fully experienced the SAKE in THAT NEW glass).I posted photos of the whole experience including what I ordered. I put the menu name & number of the dishes in the PHOTO description. The dishes were fresh and beautiful presented; even for the "take away". The SPICES were SEEN and super FRESH.You don't need to nor should you alter ANYTHING. You do have the option for preferences on spice levels, do not includes, etc.I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort or control zone and take the dishes as the chef intended. You will NOT be dissapointed.Talk about turning a low key boring night into a karaoke, Sake, and disco ball night! So much fun!!! Thank you again to that gentleman for his generosity!"
"Food : 4.5/5Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: we were the only ones in the restaurant as we reached there towards closing time on Monday. So had basically entire restaurant for ourselves. Service 100% nice Food quality good.Ordered came as expected with server asking us heat level for the curry so that was nice.Overall, recommended for a quick and cozy dinner place"
"Yelp -- how is it that I've been consistently searching for a cute Thai truck on the East side and you hid this from me?! It's a gem. We are relieved that we have a great Thai place for lunches and to-go dinners. My husband's chicken fried rice was so fresh and not overly soggy in oils and fake flavorings like so many restaurants. He also commented that there was a lot of chicken in it. My pad thai with tofu was spicy -- I think I've been so devoid of spicy Asian foods here that I've lost some of my tolerance! The portions are big enough for 2-3 meals. Amazing. And yes, the couple who runs this truck is TOO CUTE."
"I stopped eating here for a while but when I get the craving for takeout, I've been ordering the vermicelli bun bowl. It comes with an egg roll and a salad with cucumbers and carrots. It's a great deal at under $13 and it's super satisfying. I'm glad Me Con is back in my life."
"i love thai cuisine! their lunch special allows you to get free soup, salad, and eggrolls if you order an entree. their eggrolls are so good and i love the soup as well. their pad thai is nothing special in my option but still solid if your craving pad thai. pad see ew was delicious and had the perfect noodles and flavor. pad kee mao is the best in my opinion bc it's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy/peppery, what i'm looking for in a good pad kee mao!"
"I was in the mood for Pad Thai and came across Chad's Thai on Yelp. I've not had good luck finding Thai that is good enough to make me want to go back for more. All of that changed now. Their food was incredible! The Pad Thai was perfectly flavored. Egg rolls were crispy and on point. My friend got the pad sei ew which was equally delicious. Everyone was nice and helpful and the restaurant was clean. So excited to find my new go to for Thai in the area!"
"Ordered on UberEats ages it was great. Super tasty and decent portions. I really like their fried rice and pad thai. My husband said the pad se ew was good but was not a fan of the chicken wings. I also appreciate they have lots of gluten and dairy free options. I hope to dine in soon!"
