"Menudo delivery!! A double order so I can have another tomorrow. I really like their Menudo. Fast delivery, very well packaged and with all the goodies. I forgot to ask for hominy but that's my bad. It was delicious anyway :-)"
"After pickleballing at pickle ranch, my friends and I were looking for a late night taco place and this one happen to be nearby with good reviews so we decided to head on over. I didn't realize it was so close to one of my favorite taco places, El Taccorrido.I got a tripas, cabeza, and buche. I'm a fan of tripas and not a ton of taco trucks in town have it the way I like it, slightly crispy exterior with soft interior. This place does it just right. The cabeza was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The buche was also great and I love that the chop it into smaller pieces and fill each tortilla with plenty of meat. I got these tacos on regular size tortillas and my order came out before I even sat down.Super fast service, loaded condiment bar, friendly staff. I would 100% come back again to try other items on the menu. Cash only."

"This food truck was awesome. I was so excited to see good vegan tacos. I've never found a vegan taco that had actual heat until I came to this place. The staff were very nice and let me know they made the vegan meat from mushrooms. We experienced the food truck, not the restaurant, but the food in this mobile option was top-notch."
"Breakfast tacos were amazing! Especially liked the tortillas. Chorizo was my favorite. Coffee was surprisingly tasty as well. This was our first time at this Austin favorite."
"La Holly is neatly tucked in East Austin where you can get lost in conversation for hours with friends and enjoy the intimate bar indoors or the open space in their back courtyard. The drinks are strong and their portfolio of liquors is superb. I love a more intimate drink environment and the swag items are worth buying."
"One word: THE BEAST!!!Best breakfast taco I've had in years. They guy is open 6 days a week and is super friendly. Been here for years."
"First time here. Was recommend by a good friend of mine. Never had Ramen Birria before and was very impressed. I got mine without cilantro, which is like Krytonite to me. Very savory and filling. This is a food trailer and they do have limited seating. Ordering is simple and quick. Didn't have to wait long. Probably helped I was there after the lunch rush. I will be back to try the birria tacos, as I've heard they are some of the best in Austin"
"Breakfast Tacos! Yum!Don't come for me.. but its better than Flores. Yup. I said it.. and its Definitely better than fast food taco bell brekie. We got 2 Breakfast tacos today after dropping the kids off at school. 4.50 each (jan 2025).Easy in/out of their parking lot. Friendly service as usual. Plenty of seating for small or big groups inside.Rookie mistake I didn't call it in to go.. yet it only took under 5min to make it to go.We got to go:EKG- lots of eggs, chorizo, bacon, potatoe, beans. Finished with cheese. Its so big you can't close it. Id def ask for 1 tortilla on the side and you could make 2 easily.Fatboy- eggs, sausage, green bell pepper, tomatos.Order 1 extra tortillas for each taco ordered so you can spoon some out and have 2. It's that much filling. They have great fresh red and green salsa with some heat and freshness. Should have asked for 2 of each so I could have spooned some salsa on each bite! Try them for breakfast. Its the closest we've come to west coast style breakfast tacos and flavors.Definitely going to come back on the weekend to try the chilaquiles! It's one of our fav go tos in SoCal. We will have to see how it is here in TX. Excited to try! Consider them for a great breakfast spot.. especially if you have to be at the DSYA sports fields for baseball/softball or Drip HS. Call it in to go!"
"Amazing food, cool atmosphere and seating areas are cool as well, inside and outside. Very cool vibe! Don't sleep on this place, the quality is hard to get!"
"#NotTexMex ---- we are talking true Mexican foodThis place is so good, the tacos are fresh, service is fast and the salsas are "spot on".***Make note, they only take cash....and the menu is in Spanish***The Carnitas tacos are the best I have had in Austin. Generous portion, grilled onions that still have a snap and the meat is moist (not greasy). The El Pastor are also excellent and not over spiced, nor are the over-cooked (like several places). The breakfast tacos also deserve a shout out. $1.00 for a 2-ingredient taco M-F before 11am. But, I always trick it up and add an ingredient or two. Still very affordable.I have found my NEW favorite taco joint!"
"The band I work with played here last night and we all had so much fun! The staff were awesome and super accommodating! When you first walk in, you think it's just another regular bar: pool tables, tvs, etc., but you step out of the back or side door and see that there's a huge outside area to explore. There is a spacious turf lawn out back with an outside bar, stage, multiple fire pits and a few food trucks that happen to serve incredible food! I picked up a pulled pork sandwich from Coursons BBQ and I highly recommend it. I knew absolutely no one there but everyone around me was so friendly and inviting, it was a nice change from the Austin bar scene. This place has such an awesome vibe and atmosphere, I'm so willing to make the hour drive to come hang out again!"
"This is the first place we went to when we arrived in Austin due to a friend's recommendation, and it was a great start to our intro to Texas! We ordered four tacos, and chips & queso. Here were our thoughts:Potato, egg & cheese breakfast taco w/ avocado - really good! Egg was well-seasoned and had great flavor. The potatoes were nicely cooked and were not too soft. Had a nice bite to it so the taco was multi-note.Migas Taco - flavor is good, but I personally felt that the tortilla chips got too worked into the egg so it didn't get to stand out in the taco as much as I wanted it to. Would like to have tasted more depth in texture in terms of crunch, but it's a solid breakfast taco!Chorizo, egg & cheese breakfast taco - my partner thought it tasted good! Had a nice flavorful grease to it from the chorizo.Barbacoa Taco - my partner felt that the meat was a bit too dry for his liking, but had good flavor.Chips & queso - this was a hit! Queso was super flavorful and had a great consistency. Chips were also light and crispy. Couldn't stop eating it!Ambiance - pretty hole in the wall with a truck and some picnic tables. Looks like there used to be a bigger place to eat that was closed due to COVID that seemed fun. There are a few private parking spots too. Really laidback vibe which we both really liked! Thanks for your service!"

My review is only for breakfast tacos, because that's all I've ever ordered, but I tell you, this is THE place. My personal favorite is the potato and egg. The potatoes are big and chunky, the eggs are fluffy. I also recommend the bean and cheese. They've done large orders for me (3 dozen) to take to workplace breakfast, and everyone raved. Before 11am, you can get 2 ingredient tacos for $1.89 each. After 11am, it's $2.29. Call ahead and the drive through goes much faster.

I've lived five minutes from this place for 12 years and I'm infuriated. Why did I know about it sooner?!. I've gone to pretty much all the taco trucks in North Lamar. It's a competitive area, but I didn't realize that there is a Mecca and that is Tacos El Charly. When does not simply go to TacoEl Charly "one arrives", it's a whole little scene a little city. There's vendors selling various things. A long line end of the center a taco truck. I have yet to explore the menu that much but I love the mini tacos. I've tried the bistek, the beef fajita and al pastor, all extremely good but the star of the show by far and away is the corn tortilla is the best I've had in town!

Not "authentic" Mexican tacos, but delicious and wholesome tacos nonetheless. I love concepts like these. So many tacos to try, different protein options, and great portions.I had the Vegetarian "The Heather" and it was great. Whole wheat, corn, and flour options for tortilla.

The staff was very friendly upon my entering the establishment, ordered me an old fashion and it was made exceptionally well. The space is small and very intimate and has an outdoor area as well. Cool spot to catch a drink in the area, definitely worth stopping by.

Nothing fancy ... just good, reliable barbecue at a good price. The owner of this food truck is super nice. The menu features barbecue on a tortilla or on a sandwich bun. The beans, rice, corn side dish is very good. A nice experience at a little food truck on the edge of the hill country.

A lot of the reviews here have said that Palo Seco has the best Birria Tacos in town. I'm happy to announce that Palo Seco has, indeed, met that burden. The three birria tacos I received were exquisite. Not only was it chalk full of the meat itself (most Austin taco guard their meat zealously from their paying customers, so this is a rare distinction) but the tortillas were quite possibly the best tortillas I've tasted in the city. The horchata I got was great as well. And the best part? They're actually reasonably priced. The seating area is sub-par, but it's a food truck so can't really dock points on that front. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for solid, affordable food (and birria!) in Austin.

While visiting town for a weekend, we ended up at Pig Pen for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There was no one sitting inside but plenty of people filtering in and out for to-go and pick up orders. And we quickly found out why. The tacos were delicious and definitely worth the reasonable price. The portions were generous and 2 tacos were more than enough to fill me up. So good!

"Best little tacos this side of California! The owner is super cool, their quality is outstanding and the value is great. We live 30 minutes away and always make sure to come get us some tacos every 2 weeks. We want to make sure they stay in business!"
"What a find! Gorgeous setting, beautiful interior friendly service. We ordered the tacos and the corn tortillas were the best I have ever had. The guac was solid. We would come back. It's just getting going and I'm gunning for a VIP seat because it's gonna be a Tomalong wait real soon for reservations."
"Radio is always a great time, it has a good mix of great coffee drinks along with alcoholic beverages, food, and great vibes and community. When the weather is nice, you could sit here for hours. Overall, I've always had a great time sipping on some drinks and catching up with people here. Parking can be tough but we usually park down the road and walk. Only downside is that the line to order drinks can take a while when busy. My iced matcha is always pretty flavorful and comes out relatively fast. There is food from other vendors on site if you get hungry."
"Holy smokes. Been here a mumber of times and while it never disappoints, this time, my mind was blown with their latest offerings: menudo and barbacoa boudin. The barbacoa boudin was such a great dish-i never seen anything like that before but my gosh, what an amazing treat. It's everything you want in boudin: spicy, ricey, barbacoa-y. The sweet sauce that was paired with it just elevated it. The menudo was just out of this world. Ive had menudo all my life but this was just on a different level. Usually you have add a little lime, or oregano, or onion or jalapenos but this one was perfect - nothing was needed. We also had barbacoa and that's alwasy been solid and love the smokyness. Everyone should come and try itBelieve the hype!"
"This is a family-run taco truck. It is always delicious. The taco ingredients are well portioned, seasoned, and the salsas are always fresh and delicious.I recommend the carnitas and the migas with bacon tacos. The jalapeno crema is also right on point.Apart from the food, the family that runs this place is proud to be putting out a good product. If ever in the neighborhood I recommend that you please stop and enjoy."
"Overall: we enjoyed our food. I thought this food had great flavor, but I wouldn't come here looking for your standard "breakfast tacos" that are loaded with toppings. These are a simple and small breakfast tacos that pack a flavorful punch on their own. The flour tortillas were AMAZING. I'll probably be back just for those. They were small though. Think the size of a man's palm, around 4".The chorizo and the salsas were spicy! I couldn't handle the salsas, but the chorizo had a nice kick that I enjoyed. For reference, I order everything with a "medium" spice level. My husband, who enjoys his face melting off from spice level on a frequent basis, loved the spice and said it was a nice surprise. I think he has a bionic mouth tbh, proceed with caution. The food came out quickly (5 min) and there was a picnic table next to the food truck if we wanted to sit and eat. We chose to order to-go, but it's nice to know it's there! This is definitely authentic Mexican food. Knowing a bit of Spanish so you can order is encouraged! We knew JUST enough to order! Note to self: revisit Spanish modules. We're embarrassing ourselves... I forgot pics... my bad."
"Great food, the woman I spoke too was super nice and they have homemade corn tortillas. Highly recommend"
"been here twice, both times service was excellent. last time they were very busy and still sat me by myself at a 4 seat table. I offered to wait for bar or smaller table but they insisted I stay. that made me feel so welcomed. had appetizers first time, delicious . second time burger and fries both perfectly cooked came out hot and very tasty. and of course great beer selections. highly recommend"
"By far the best breakfast tacos in Austin! At a price that won't break the bank! 5 STARS!!"
"I was super stoked to see this place open, as there are so few places to eat near me. I've watched it evolve in grow since they first opened in September and have enjoyed most things on the menu on my semi-weekly visits except the empanadas, which are usually out when I go in the afternoons. Looking forward to trying them. El Bandito and Jardin are my mainstays for healthy eatin'. Love that they have a stage set up, look forward to hanging out more."
"This place is awesome! Probably my new go to. It's located in downtown round rock. The inside is quaint and cozy and the vibes were awesome. They have a lot of speciality drinks to choose from which are my favorite kinds! Everyone that works there is so nice. We even chatted a bit with one of the workers while he was making our coffee. There's a little patio in the back that is so cute. Def check them out!"
"My first time eating El Paso style tacos. Tasty and definitely different than any tacos I've ever eaten in Austin. Everything is made fresh and they even make their own taco shells. This establishment grew from a food truck to where they are now in a brick and mortar and it's understandable why it's survived."
"Yum!!! I randomly drove by this little food truck park on a Saturday morning and I saw they were open for breakfast. I got one of each breakfast taco so I could try all 4. Here is how I would personally rank them starting with my favorite: chorizo, sausage, potato, and bacon. All of the breakfast tacos were delicious. The service was fast and he asked me if this was my first time to his food truck and when I said yes, he explained to me all of the sauces and gave me one of each to try so I could see which one I liked best. We'll definitely be back! Also, the food truck park has little tables, chairs, and yard games if you wante to stick around and enjoy the beautiful day.."
"2024-02-22. Pepe's Tacos. Austin, TX.Pepe's Tacos is actually a taco stand at the mouth of the parking lot of Frozen Rolls Creamery. They have two large picnic tables that make up all their seating. We came for the Quesobirria tacos, but when we saw the menu, they also had a Birria Ramen. Another smart take on serving up food with ultra high margins... Did we try it? Of course we did!For those who are new to Quesobirria tacos, you dip the crunchy taco into the consomé soup. They're served fresh and hot, and if you eat them right away, you'll get that great cheese pull.Quesobirria Tacos. Three tacos with consomé soup and a garlic avocado aioli. $15. The tacos were pretty good. The beef was flavorful and tender. The taco shell was nice and crispy and the amazing thing about it was that it was not wet as some are. The consomé was greatly lacking in my opinion. Not much more than beef stock watered down. The avocado aioli was really good. Rich and creamy with just the right amount of garlic flavor making it prominent but not overpowering. The dish also came with a cup of rice and a cup of beans. Overall, 3 stars.Birria Ramen. This is essentially the Birria Beef, the broth it was cooked in, and Ramen. Since the Birria beef for the tacos were flavorful, I expected the same for the Ramen; and Pepe's didn't disappoint! The beef was not shredded like it was with the tacos, you got entire chunks of it! But it was still tender and flavorful. The ramen was not the fresh type, but I prefer the dried ramen so it worked out for me. They provided a side of onions, cilantro, and limes to complement the ramen and that paired well with the Birria broth. $12. 4 stars overall.Quesobirria tacos are pretty big in Texas, they're all over the place and both restaurants and food trucks sell them. They're pricey regardless of where you are (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas) and sell for $15 (for 3). While I have yet to find a place that has both good tacos and good consomé, if you're in Texas, I highly recommend you try them. And if you're at Pepe's, I would recommend the Ramen over the tacos. If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!"
"Today I had the pleasure of visiting Taco Hut on my way from Houston to Austin. Located in Giddings, Charlie and Jannie run a delicious taco truck. I saw the truck on the way from Austin into Houston, and I decided (after confirming with my other Yelpers) to stop today for lunch.I arrived 5 minutes before closing time because I hit some traffic, but Charlie was happy to make me some tasty tacos. Okay first: Let's talk the tortilla. Oh, me encanta. I think it was one of the best tortillas I've ever tasted. It was flour deliciousness. I created my own vegetarian tacos: eggs and cheese and beans, cheese, lettuce, and cheese. The bean was my favorite, and I topped it with their fresh medium-spice salsa. The egg and cheese was also great, but next time I would try it with potatoes as it was a lot of egg. These tacos are big, so I brought half of my egg one home for a snack later. My tacos were $6 (plus tip) and worth every penny and more. The Taco Hut is located right by an old Peanut Factory, and I enjoyed eating outside at a standing table (they had sitting ones too). I will be back to Taco Hut anytime I'm on 290, and I recommend you do the same."
"CJ's was running a Valentine's Day special for a heart shaped Birria taco, so of course we had to try it! This thing was huge for $25! Loaded with tons of meat and the consommé had pieces of meat, onion, cilantro and so much seasoning in it. Hands down, this whim purchase was a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be back to try normal menu items."
"Was lucky to find this gem on the way to work after an appointment today!! You enter on the right side and are able to place an order to go or for dine-in. I was trying to decide and notice a Secret menu item posted at the checkout! Obviously I had to try it!! The Breakfast Bun was delicious! Served on a house made bun it had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and was topped with Swiss and cheddar cheese! The perfect toast to the softest bun and you can tell they use quality ingredients the way it melted in my mouth each bite! The portion was on the large side so I took the rest for lunch! It would be a great item to share with a friend if yall were not too hungry. They were quite busy but still had smiles on their faces and fast service. I had my food in less than 20 min! I feel like this would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a bookclub as it was lively and full of positive energy.Parking: lots of spaces that are constantly rotating with availability and handicapped parking available."
"The beef quesadillas are amazing! I've also tried the shrimp but the seasoning and tenderness of the beef bring me back. My buddy got the beef bowl and enjoyed it as well. I'll Uber Eats two orders of the quesadillas quite often. Definitely a truck worth checking out! And their prices aren't absurd like most food trucks."
"We were thrilled to discover this hidden gem! A hot pastrami sandwich, lentil soup, homemade blueberry muffin and the BEST cup of tea I've ever had in the USA . I'm a Brit and would head back here just for the excellent tea! Served in individual tea pots, it was made to perfection. My new fave Austin spot."
"Was on a walk over in the neighborhood and figured I would grab some tacos and keep going. The breakfast tacos are massive. I'm talking huge. I'm very much an eater and I could barely finish two. And certainly not comfortably! I about called an Uber home I was so full. One is the perfect amount since they stuff them full. Very good, but pick your favorite one to order."
"The best taqueria taco truck in Austin love this place tacos de bistec are so delicious Will definitely come back it's an amazing place so clean and great service the salsas are the best"
"Most authentic food I've had in the area. Flavors were great, it was seasoned to perfection. This will definitely be the new go-to."
"Saw this place hadn't been reviewed yet so I decided to check it out with my boo. We both got the pastor mini tacos and a barbacoa taco. The pastor mini tacos were really good; great tortillas, filled with pork and perfect with red hot sauce. The 5 mini tacos also came with charro beans, roasted green onions and potatoes...... guys these potatoes were so damn good they had a sauce on them that made them to die for. My gf really liked the beans, they had jalapeño and hot dog in them lol. The barbacoa could've been more moist/tender but we went around 9:30pm so I'm not going to hold that against them. Really good service and price, we brought a couple beers from home and chilled out. I think this is on the same property as a vehicle center of some sort... couldn't tell but there was a neighboring food truck that served Mexican drinks and seafood if you are into that. I would recommend if you are looking for some good tacos and sides that will fill you up!"
