The bar and main dining areas have much more ambience. The back room is more intimate and quiet for discussions. Top notch."

"I want to follow up on my 2star review a few weeks ago -- I returned to get a dozen of those delicious oysters (as good as the first time!), only this time I had a much better experience with the food. I had their seafood gumbo which was delicious. And also their catfish bites which were fresh and not greasy. So I guess avoid the fries and the salt n pepper seafood, both of which are very greasy. There are obviously a lot of better choices on the extensive menu. I'll be back to try a few other dishes."
"Love this hidden gem. It is very close to where we live. We go here for special occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, end-of-school-years, or what not. I love seafood and the food here is great and fresh. The beet salad is a repeat order. In the most recent visit, I had the scallops over ravioli. The scallops were cook perfectly. They were seasoned a bit on the salty side but the rest of the dish, the kabocha puree, has a little bit of sweetness in it. At the end, the whole dish works great. We'll be back!"
"I had the pleasure of going to Perry's steakhouse again for a Friendsgiving. I have to say the service and the food and the price was amazing.Jason, our waiter was super attentive got all of our orders correct it was a large group plus he was always coming back to see if we needed anything else and cleared our tables and then packed our leftovers because it was a big group. They did charge us an 18% gratuity but because Jason gave such great service, I went ahead and gave him another 10% on top of that . Jason was a super awesome waiter.We got the big pork chops that they only serve on Fridays and I have to say it was cooked perfectly great smoke flavor and was very tender. I got the fully loaded mash potato and it was great. I also got a side of their grilled veggies, and I have to say the flavor and the texture the veggies was super great.This restaurant has superior ambience, even though it was busy everyone there could hear each other talking without a lot of unnecessary noise Perry's is always packed so if you're going to go there, please make a reservation. This is fastly becoming one of my favorite steakhouses.The manager came by our table and welcomed us, which was an extra added touch. Great food, great service and wonderful ambience. "COME AND EAT HERE! Fogonero is going to knock your socks off, that's just my opinion though. What a find this place is, wish I had come here more soon!I was a bit skeptical walking up cause the place is so tiny, and hidden over in the corner of one of those little shopping mall things on the side of the road with some other stores next to it. A party of 6 come parading out of the door speaking Spanish and laughing, they had told me that this was a good place to eat when I asked.There was a cute patio outside with more tables, but we wanted to chill inside, and might I say that there's not much to the place, or a lot of seating. We sit down, there's music playing somewhat loud, and even a couple got up and started to dance a bit. There were these large beautifully crafted looking rolls of bread just pulled out of the oven cooling down on the server counter, one was cut a bit so you could see all these goodies inside, it filled the room with this sweet amazing aroma. At this point I could tell our dinner was going to be fantastic. Mini Empanadas to start with, crisp, hot, and golden! Each filled differently (Ground Beef, Shredded Beef, Pork, and Cheese). The sauces they brought out with it was also freaking amazing. I got excited and started digging in before I could get a pic of all 4 haha. soon after that our entrées came out, the presentation was very nice, you can tell some excellent cooks are back in that small little kitchen. Juicy meat, with an egg over the rice next to some black beans, with a sliver of cooked cheese topped with some sweet tasty plantains. Everything was fantastic! Of coarse I could not leave without asking what that bread was, I wasn't exactly sure what she had said, but I asked if i could try a slice since they were wanting to sell a loaf of it at a time. She eventually came out with my cut of what I figured out to be Ham Bread! Oh my gosh it was so delicious! I said is there a secret menu that we don't know about? Nope just that it was a seasonal dish that they make! Christmas bread with ham, bacon, olives and raisins! TRUST, you have not lived til you have tried this Venezuelan Christmas Ham Bread. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!"
"After a dozen visits in the past year, The Willie's Grill & Icehouse in Georgetown has become our "go-to" spot for dining out. Everything on the menu is tasty, the service is always excellent, the drinks are outstandingly refreshing and the prices are very competitive The chicken fried steak is my go-to dish, the burgers are top notch and the crab and crayfish boils are soooo tasty!I recommend Willie's for a great dining experience!"
"I'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating. We've been here a handful of times, and everything we've tried has been delicious. I love their shrimp poboys, but their Texan Steakhouse burger is by far the best burger in town! It's rich, salty, sweet, and spicy! The shrimp gumbo was also very delicious. They also have some of the best desserts in town. Don't miss out on the tres leches and the chocolate mousse. The service is great and pretty fast. I definitely recommend trying it even if you're not nearby, it's worth the drive."

Wish I discovered this gem earlier. The French Quarter grille is one of my most favorite restaurants in all of Austin. Im an East coast guy so most of food scene in Austin is a downgrade but French quarter grille is light at end of tunnel. Going through menu was a bit stressful because all their entry items are so fantastic and hard to choose! Cant go wrong with any of the yoli dishes or catfish ponchatran. Tried the fried oysters for appetizer, classic New Orleans style. Dessert recommend bread pudding or orange crembrule

Looked up this little restaurant after a doctor's appointment and decided to give it a try. Location is in a small shopping area that wasn't crowded, that had plenty of parking, easy access to the establishment. The restaurant was roomy, tables only, no booths. They hand you a menu and you order and pay for your food first. Asian cafe had a pretty good selection of dishes, appetizers, soups, and drinks. I ordered the beef broccoli and shared an egg drop soup and my spouse ordered the Chong Chin chicken containing plenty of peppercorns and Szechuan peppers. We did not have to wait long for our order. Our food arrived neatly displayed in the plates along with a good size bowl of egg drop soup. Everything was fresh, hot, and the flavors were out of this world. You could taste the ginger, garlic, lemon grass, and the rest of the delicious spices combining them all to deliver quite the punches and explosions of flavor. The portions were large and filling. My beef broccoli tasted great. The meat was very tender, and served in a brown sauce. Very flavorful. I could taste the fresh spices in the dish. Very authentic. I also got to eat some of the Chon Chin dish which consisted of tiny, crispy, fried pieces of chicken mixed in with great tasting flavors. The chicken was crispy, and juicy. It was spicy as we wanted it to be. It had peanuts that were roasted just right with thin, tiny slivers of roasted fresh ginger. Absolutely delicious. At times you could get the great taste of lemon grass and garlic. The egg drop soup was so comforting and just reminded me of the holidays for some reason. The food was the undeniably the best tasting Asian food we have had. The way they blended in their ingredients was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive. we could not have asked for better tasting Asian food. Definitely would recommend this establishment to you all.

Clark's is an absolute gem for seafood lovers in Austin, tucked away in the charming Clarksville neighborhood, just minutes from downtown. We had an office gathering here and the food did not disappoint. There was plenty of food -- we each had to go boxes, all was savory, flavorful and delicious. The service was helpful, attentive and courteous. The corn tortillas were the star for me. They were homemade and made all the difference. It is a comfortable, light environment and great for small gatherings.

Always a pleasure to come here. I always make reservations. Parking is easy, since there is a parking lot literally next to the building. Place is very elegant. Alot of near by shops to browse around. Food has been very flavorable. I have had their lamb and mash potatoes. Staf is very friendly and they give great recommendations when it comes to drinks and appetizers.

"Wow! Best kept secret in the Hill Country Galleria! Has always been a great spot for happy hour; however, their recently revamped menu and deals are off the charts awesome!Over several visits, I have made my through the entire app menu. I highly recommend the crispy ribs, curried mussels, truffled beef tips...heck all of it! Scrumptious! And of course raw oysters when in season. Peel and eat shrimp is an easy choice as well. HAPPY HOUR available in entire restaurant and patio Mon - Fri 3-6pm AND reversed on Fri & Sat 9-10pm. 1/2 off apps, oysters, pae shrimp...and draft beers, select wines by the glass, and their killer sig cocktails. A nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner, but the HH is what keeps me coming back. I'm hooked (pun intended; haha). They moved to a different spot years ago in the HCG. Still nice interior ambience. The large side patio is great for outdoor dining and always has a breeze during the warm months."

"Another great visit at my favorite Mexican food place MasFajitas the restaurant was immaculate clean everyone was so nice and polite.Well, I came here to have my crispy tacos again and they were delicious nice and fresh lean ground beef with fresh lettuce, tomato and cheese. Always a good choice when I go to MasFajitas.I also had the soft fajita tacos on flour tortillas. I had one chicken and one beef. The chicken was a little dry, but the beef was wonderful. Good flavor good taste and I love salsa just the right amount of spice. I have to say my waitress was so amazing. I went with a group of friends. There were five of us. She kept our drinks full. She was always asking how everything was. She was the nicest sweetest lady there. She had about five other tables that she was waiting on excellent Masfajitas is just right for good food not expensive good quality had a great quality price. "The decor was so pretty and spacious! We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't busy at all. They also have a kid play area near the outdoor dining. There was only one waitress, but she was really helpful and attentive. She was really knowledgeable about the menu items and answered all our questions.The food did not disappoint. The chips and salsa was so good. We even asked for extra salsa. The little cup of Caldo Simar was also good. It was just a broth.For the starter we order the shrimp ceviche called Ceviche Azteca. It was very spicy even with the side of fried tortillas and crackers. Ceviche Azteca ($18) includes: shrimp, lime, soy sauce, sesame seeds, pico de gallo, and cucumberWe also ordered the Tacos Nayarit ($17). This included three fried or grilled tilapia fish tacos with cheese, topped with pickles onions, carrots, and red cabbage. It also comes with a scoop of rice and beans. "Was on the hunt for some Louisiana-style seafood and I stumbled upon Louisiana Crab Shack located on Anderson Ln. first off, I appreciate the ample parking, and the actual business was pretty spacious with a lot of seating. Right upon arrival, we were treated very kindly to a table. The hostess was extremely sweet and accommodating to us. We got seated and got our drinks really quickly. I ordered a corona beer and my boyfriend got a strawberry margarita. The strawberry margarita was on the rocks and definitely a little more on the sweet side. We ended up, ordering the fried oysters as an appetizer, which were all right. i am not a huge fan of oysters, but the sauce that came with it which tasted like a spicy mayo sauce, was really good. for our entrée, we ended up going with the shack combo number one which we paired with the crab legs, shrimp and side of potatoes, corn, and eggs. We got the house seasoning mix as well as extra butter. Everything was brought to the table really quickly, which was really nice. We ended up going with mild for our spice level, which I thought we could've probably gone up a little bit, but I was afraid that even mild was going to be too spicy but definitely not here. If you are sensitive to spice, I definitely recommend getting the mild since it is the perfect amount of flavor, but if you're not that bad with spice, go for something a little more spicier. The shrimp was a bit tough, but the flavor was delicious. The extra buttered really gave it a little more flavor and I like that their house blend has a little bit of everything. the corn was absolutely delicious and the egg was the main star here.It was about $100 for everything we ordered which was not bad for the amount of seafood we got and alcoholic drinks but I think next time I will definitely amp up on the spice levels and seasonings.The owners came up to our table and greeted us. They were super polite. The overall custom service at the restaurant was fabulous. I have never been to a restaurant where I've been taken care of so much like this before. The owners got to talk to us a little bit about how they started the business and it was such a nice little extra thing."

You're always greeted with a warm welcome, the wait staff are extremely attentive and so kind, and the food is remarkable. The food comes quickly and is consistently flavorful with perfect ingredients. My favorite dishes are the egg-drop/corn soup and the shrimp and eggplant in garlic sauce."
"Long overdue review for Krab Kingz. Pretty decent spot for boiled seafood plates. They have other items on their menu but I've only tried these thus far. Normally I order the crab cluster, shrimp and sausage boil. I've tried a few flavors however their house/original seasoning is my favorite. It's always on point, super flavorful and I always get extra sauce just in case...lolShrimp is always cooked to perfection, crab can be amazing or sometimes overcooked. I normally get take-out or delivery so I haven't spoken with anyone personally onsite regarding the over cooked crab. However out of about 5 visits I only had this issue twice. If you love potatoes they are super generous with them, unlike some places which will nickel and dime you for extra potatoes. You will not have this problem at KK.One of the better shrimp/crab boil spots in town."

Ironically, it was recommended to me by someone who worked at a different Indian restaurant lol Temperature of spice runs the spectrum which is refreshing for sensitive palates where a lot of restaurants are trying to out heat each other. Even so, they can still make it spicy!Their chutneys were sooo good also.It is also reasonably priced which makes coming back more manageable.The staff was friendly, welcoming and sufficiently attentive. Well balanced attention and space.I saw a dude walk in with his new serious girlfriend. I know she was new and serious because she was with her mom and he was thanked for bringing in two new people. "This little shopping center has a ton of small restaurants so it's easy to get lost in the mix. I've somehow never eaten at saffron and was excited to try it for lunch as it was in such an easy location. We got there when they opened and were their first patrons for the day. We were greeted immediately and our server was friendly and attentive. We had two children and they were quick to bring over the high chairs we needed. This small detail earned them five stars immediately, so many restaurants treat children like an annoyance. Our server was great with treating them like people. As for the menu, it had a ton of options. I'm not super familiar with all of the items but it all sounded great. I got the chicken tikka masala with white rice and an order of garlic naan. The portions seemed smaller than some Indian restaurants I've been too but they were perfect for one person, I had a little bit leftover so nothing major. I got "medium" spice and wish I had asked for it to be a little spicier as that was fairly mild. That being said the flavor was phenomenal. The garlic naan was so so so so good. I was annoyed with myself for not having more space in my body to eat more. We will definitely be back."
"Food was good, but way over spicy for my taste. It took a while to eat my food with 5 or 6 refills of water. I probably should have ordered milk. The service wasn't great. The waitress did not attempt to smile or try to any sort of effort of customer service of any kind other than just go back and forth refilling my water. When taking my order, there want absolutely no smile or anything coming from her. Even when I smile to her, only then did she smile quickly and then frowned afterwards. Wow! The atmosphere was clean and well organized. I would go back to this place if I was in the neighborhood and I was starving. But it's not on my to do list again. I ordered my appetizer and then ordered my dinner. My pork wantons (appetizer) came with my General Tso Chicken (entree) at the same time. I was expecting the appetizer to come out first, then a few minutes later have my entree come out. It all came out to be a total of $20.03. Not badly priced."

AND you're helping keep a local, black-owned business doing their thing. Note: You pick up from the trailer out back on the alley side and there's no way through from 12th except walking a half block around, so may want to park on the side street if you're a delicate little flower and will wilt in the heat."
"One of the lovely bar tenders recommended this spot as we were looking for a brunch spot that played hip hop, r & b and old school soul music. It was exactly what we were looking for! There is a live DJ playing all of the jams...everyone there including the employees were just vibing and having a good time, even some line dancing! The food really surprised me by how good it was. They were out of catfish but I know it was bomb... I just know it! I had a pork chop breakfast that was seasoned to perfection and tasted my friend's chicken and waffle that was also amazing. When I say I stuffed myself just cause it was that good. It was reasonable priced... good drinks and hookah as well. Hookah was a little pricey and you can only choose premade flavors. Would definitely go back."

He sat me in Sandy's section who promptly came to see if I needed a beverage. I received a fresh ice tea with lemon. I told her I was ready to order and I ordered the Chicken Taco Salad. It was freshly made with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, with side kicks of sour cream and avacodo. I didn't get a dressing as I asked for the salsa. It was so tasty that I asked for additional.They did have a great selection of daily specials and the cakes are home made by the owner I understand and are a heafty servicing I saw.All in all Sandy was jolly on the spot and got what ever was needed. "I had not been here in several years and thought I would give it a try again. On a Sunday afternoon there was no wait to be seated, and you seat yourself. I believe they have a staff shortage as most everyone else does but the service was pretty quick. It does smell like a seafood place in there so be ready.We ordered the gumbo and the Pacific Star Special which was several different fried items. The gumbo was hot, but required some additional spice for me. It wasn't bad but a little too watery.The catfish, shrimp and oysters were pretty good. The stuffed crab was a pretty dry but the hushpuppies and fries were ok. It all kind of tasted the same which is what happens when everything is battered and fried the same. Next time I will try the blackened versions of these and see how it goes."
"Terrible service! The server told us to take a seat but failed to mention you order online through your phone. The server was out a lot. She'd leave the restaurant and return 5 minutes later and then go missing again. We ordered our drinks through the app and she never brought it to us, we had to ask for them. We ordered a sprite but they didn't even have sprite there, just off brand sodas.You have to pay and tip before you can get your food. I'd go ahead and tip low because there's zero service anyways so what's the tip for?The food said it would be ready in 15, we got it about 30 minutes later. When the server gave us our food, she said one of our meals was out so we have to reorder... why was this information not provided to us 30 minutes ago. After another 30 minutes, the one order wasn't even ready yet so we left after we ate what we had been given already. The crawfish was really great but the service ruined this place for me. If you order from here just do take out but come 15 minutes after your said order time."
