"Our first time at Patrizzis, and we will definitely return. Let's start with the main show, the pasta! Cooked perfectly al dente. This place uses few ingredients in their dishes and they are high quality, proving you don't need truffle oil, a pound of cheese, or heavy cream to make a dish spectacularly tasty. We ordered diavolo (it's legit insanely spicey), carbonara, and a pasta with red sauce. All very, very good. Aside from the spiciness, the diavolo has a lemony flavor that is so good and would likely pair well with chicken. The red sauce was very good, and the carbonara was not suffering for pork. We also had their side salad and it was terrific. Lots of variety in the mix that was flavorful. The ambience is casual, and thank God for that because we just came from spending two hours in the lake! ;)It's not inexpensive. Our three dishes and the salads were $77. That was pre-tip and drinks.Overall, we'd still return despite the prices. After all, this is lake country, so it's going to be bougie. My husband insists I add this is not a brotalian pasta joint. If that is humorous to you, you're welcome."
"Love the vibe and the food is pretty good too. They have some healthy options like egg whites and chicken sausage links. This is not a place that knows what a gluten-free menu is though, lol. I was able to sub toast for fruit, which was really nice of the owner. The portions are Texas size and not pretentious, but comforting. My food was basic and tasty, my husband's food (Nicks omelet with feta cheese) was delish! We will definitely be coming back here."
Our calzones are stuffed with Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella and served with a side of marinara sauce.

"Soooooo delish! Highly recommend this place. Chicken is crispy, juicy and tender. Duck fat fries and pepper jelly biscuit are where it's at. The chicken sandwich is amazing as well. Whole family enjoyed this place and we have been back a couple of times."
"The pecan cinnamon roll is to die for. Gooey, sweet, hot, cinnamon-y goodness. Check the pics. It tastes even better than it looks if that's possible. I have a feeling their brunch is about to take off since it's a fairly new addition to the east side and they are reasonably priced. Their eggs Benedict and blueberry French toast were also delicious. We enjoyed the side of hash brown cakes too. We arrived at 10:30 for an early brunch and it wasn't busy yet, so we had our pick of tables. The AC was great considering the summer heat. They also have a patio and bar area. Service was good and we enjoyed our visit."
"So grateful to have a nice little pizza/calzone restaurant so close by. It's a new place and already appears to be getting a following. Their focus is largely Pinsa Romana (Roman style pizza) but they also serve by the slice with familiar flavors."
"I had an amazing experience at Pork Booty ATX! I ordered the Texan fries, and they were absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of seasoning. The whole atmosphere was great, and the service was top-notch. Big shout-out to Kevin, who met me in the parking lot and was super nice and welcoming. He really made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back for more!"
"Pizza these days is a rare treat for me, between the Gluten, the cheese and the calories hahahah but....When I do indulge, I want it to be good quality and romance my taste buds. I'm also one of those people that orderes a baseline at each new restaurant. And for pizza that is a standard pepperoni no frills. Plus foodie Joe hyped up their pepperoni so I had to anyway. Now to the pizza: I had forgotten what pizza sauce should taste like because within one bite I knew this was homemade and not canned. The crust was not too thick and not too thin and if I were pushed to nit pick, the only thing that could have been a bit better or crispier. The pepperoni was very good quality and like Joe said, actually tastes like pepperoni and the cheese was perfectly melted. On top of that it was very reasonably priced and the little restaurant was super cute (note: soft drinks only) They obviously do take out and they deliver This place is owned by a local couple who have fed Kyle with delicious Kyle Pizza Co. for many years.Service was super friendly and attentive"
"Missing soul food and came across this place you wouldn't of seen it passing by unless you were stopped at the stop light. Opened up Yelp and read a lot of the great reviews. Had to come in as soon as you walk in you have history of beautiful family pictures on 3 walls made you feel like your eating at his place.1 (owner) man cooking, taking orders and serving some of the reviews saying he is rude not true he is just REAL he is a very funny guy and humble 4 pc chicken w/fries- absolutely light, seasoned and cooked to perfection it will have you licking your fingers I sure did! Fries seasoned and delicious Cabbage- I can eat this everyday it seemed he roasted the cabbage prior to cooking it had a smoky flavor which was out of this world.. A MUST!!!3 pc catfish with okra and greens- hubby did not share his plate with me it was that good he said it was actually better then he had in Atlanta, GAThe place is small chairs still up on tables. we put our chairs down ourselves which we don't mind friendly customer based. The cooking may take a little longer especially for 1 owner working all sides but let me tell you this place is LEGIT with awesome delicious southern cooking. Absolutely a hidden gem. My only regret is I didn't even ask the owner his name but I will next time and trust me this will be my twice a month eating spot.Thank you for sharing your delicious food and a little of your family story truly amazing"
"One of the owners waited on us. Really sweet gal. Very friendly. They have an eclectic menu from tacos to barbecue. We love regional and international cuisine so were delighted to see Korean Kimchi Steak tacos and Jamaican Jerk Chicken tacos! We ordered one plate of each (two tacos per plate). They were tastey and filling and reasonably priced. They were both very tamed down for local pallettes, however. The are three indicators that these would be spicy: 1) tacos are usually either spicy or are served with salsa to spice them up, 2) kimchee is a very spicy dish, 3) authentic jerk chicken is a very spicy dish. However, the Scoville rating in these would be as low as the pimiento you might find in an olive. I mean... they were flavorful... they just weren't spicy at all. Add that's perfectly fine. But offering some Gochujang, or Jamaican jerk sauce or even Sriracha on the side would have certainly elevated these for us. There a couch and love seat in the corner under some nice art work that adds to the ambiance. The music they played was very enjoyable. The salad bar was a tiki theme. It has a fun vibe. My only complaint... and I don't know what they can do about this... is the parking lot. It's awkwardly shaped. You can't back into a space, and you have to back out at a sharp angle. There are no safety bumpers to keep you from dropping off the parking lot onto the sidewalk (a several inch drop), and it's a small lot with only a few spaces. Parking aside, I'm glad these guys are here. I like them and I will visit them again."
"My favorite go to place for a quick lunch. Love the Peanut Butter smoothie!! The owner was my neighbor in south Austin and peddled his soup on a bicycle. The menu is extensive featuring soups and salads. Staff is always great. Don't be surprised if there's a line out the door Saturday morning. Best time to go is around 11:00 am."
"I tried this place at the rodeo, which is probably not the ideal situation. Nonetheless, it was a pretty disappointing meal. I ordered the chicken and sausage plate, which was supposed to come with their special grilled chicken. When I received my order, I was surprised to see fried chicken tenders over a bed of rice. I'm guessing they ran out of the grilled chicken, but I feel like they should've mentioned that when I placed the order. I would've definitely ordered something else, but instead, I got dry, bland chicken tenders from a place that specializes in grilled meats."
"Great space indoors and outdoors. Pretzel was delicious. I had a great old fashioned and my husband had a few beers that he loved. Bathroom is super clean and has fun wallpaper. You can smoke and drink outside on their patio if you want to. Staff is friendly and we had a nice time chatting!"

The brick-and-mortar emporium for Austin's heritage Italian cuisine is absolutely worth the drive, and an extra work-out. I've been grazing around town (and The Vortex is a scene worth enjoying, local bands galore, proper people-watching), but out here in the Hills is where it's at - a little Texas sprawl, a lot of Italian goodness. Someone is always at the door, welcoming like family, happy to help guide choices on their varied but straightforward menu. After a few visits, I can confidently say their Cacio e Pepe is my favorite. Freshly handmade fettuccine pasta with in an elegant balance of grana and cracked black pepper - it's like grown-up Mac 'n cheese, just as comforting, far more delightful. Because I'm halfway to Rome, of course we're having double-carbs, and the Garlic Bread with more grana and garlic confit is addictive. Crispy edges, pillowy center, deliciously savory bites of garlicky butter are the ultimate indulgence while spreading out with friends or family (indoors, generous AC and seating for groups, outdoors, a large patio and local music venue). This visit we tried the Risotto al Pomodoro - an incredibly fresh display of perfectly roasted chicken, basil, and house-made cheese atop crisped risotto and a rich tomato sauce. It was creamy, savory, warm, with just the right amount of tart acidity to finish clean, begging for more bites. Patrizi's Salad is the pick (the creamy Italian dressing is an archetype) when going for greens - balance, after all! While waiting, their bar is fully stocked, including some proper Texas Lemonade for the whole family. And that's what they're all about - the Patrizi's serving yours, whether it's a friend family or those we're born with!

We had the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken fingers. Really liked the sandwich...would have been next level if the bun had been toasted. Chicken fingers...ordered 3 not knowing size. Wished I had order more BUT breading was not to much and the ability to have multiple sauces was a plus!

I stopped in after a yoga class looking for a reading nook and warm drink, and this exceeded any expectations! The ambiance and vibe in here is so cute, I love the aesthetic. I ordered the dirty lover, which tasted like a spicy chai latte. I also got the maple croissant breakfast sandwich and I think it's the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Fluffy egg, thick Swiss and layers of turkey between beautiful flaky mapley croissant. Heavenly. My waitress Gabby was super kind and gave great recommendations. I'll def be coming back here!

This place is a true gem! Absolutely delicious slices of pizza. I like to get a bunch of stuff so I don't get food fomo and I'm glad I did. Got meatballs as an appetizer which comes with 3 meatballs in a delicious sauce I was dunking crust and the bread in.I got a few slices (margherita and funghi) that were great. Great toppings and also very reasonably priced per slice. I also made sure to buy a tray for the family so I'll get more feedback on the pinsa di Roma slices later. But it smelled absolutely delicious in the car.But the standout? Their rigatoni amatriciana was so freaking delicious. Perfectly cooked fresh pasta and the flavor bomb. I have zero food regrets

Showed up at Bee Cave farmer's market and was drawn to this place by the lovely bbq smell. I was famished, and this absolutely delicious sandwich hit the spot spectacularly. I will for sure be back and will bring the family next time.

If you are on the right path, you know life is a journey filled with enchanting places and devine appointments. I found myself in Manor, TX on a Saturday evening. Manor, is a very small town, east of Austin, that you might drive right through main street and miss it.I was hungry, so naturally I hit up Yelp for a recommendation for some good eats. For me, eating good food for the day is more than just a meal, it's a celebration of life! That's when I discovered Lillie Mae's. Yelpers say they had good fried chicken, burgers and soul food. Let me tell you, There is soul food, and then there is food for the soul. Fred, the owner and chef takes care of business!I enjoyed some of the best fried chicken on the planet! But I didn't stop there. Realizing I was in heaven, and my sins forgiven, I ordered up some catfish and shrimp combo to go, since I didn't know how soon I would be back this way. Huge, portions, hand made tarter and sassy wing sauce, And of course some Texas sweet tea. Oh man was it good! Don't get fancy on me, this is a humble place. A big kitchen with a big heart and a few tables to park your seat on. Reminds me of the original Prince's Chicken in Nashville. Hear me now! If you find yourself riding out on 290 and you drive through Manor, hit the brakes, and turn your caboose around right now! You need to stop at Lillie Mae's to feed your soul and get your sins forgiven!Forgive me for the sparse picture. I had already eaten two pieces faster than I could get my camera out.

"I've had Home Slice Pizza before as takeout from both locations, so I knew I was in for good food when I planned a lunch here. Dining in, however, offered a very different and even more impressive experience. Our server was attentive, and it was nice to have one of the booths at our table for two. They checked on us several times throughout our meal and responded quickly even as the place got busy.We ordered the vegetarian pizza topped with spinach, roasted red peppers, green olives, and onions, requesting a crispy crust. The crust was indeed crispy, just as my friend wanted, and it paired perfectly with the hot cheese and toppings. We really appreciated the kitchen's effort to cook the pizza to our liking, though I think I'll stick with the original NY-style crust on my next visit. The most remarkable aspect of dining inside was the atmosphere. The restaurant opens at 11, and we arrived at 11 on a Sunday to grab a table. By 11:30, the place was already filled up and bustling.I must give a special shoutout to the restroom--it's the most impressive restroom I've ever visited at a restaurant, let alone a pizza place. It's not just the decor or the space; it's the amenities offered. At the sink, there were stocked mouthwash, paper cups, cotton balls, cotton swabs, various flavors of gum and mints, hair ties, hair clips, combs, and sanitary items. This attention to detail shows how much the establishment cares for its customers and their comfort. As if the amazing food weren't enough of a reason to love this place, these thoughtful details really add an extra cherry on top of an already great experience."
"The band I work with played here last night and we all had so much fun! The staff were awesome and super accommodating! When you first walk in, you think it's just another regular bar: pool tables, tvs, etc., but you step out of the back or side door and see that there's a huge outside area to explore. There is a spacious turf lawn out back with an outside bar, stage, multiple fire pits and a few food trucks that happen to serve incredible food! I picked up a pulled pork sandwich from Coursons BBQ and I highly recommend it. I knew absolutely no one there but everyone around me was so friendly and inviting, it was a nice change from the Austin bar scene. This place has such an awesome vibe and atmosphere, I'm so willing to make the hour drive to come hang out again!"
"Went a couple of times this month- I haven't been here before. I used to go to the BAC on E. 7th street ages ago so I had always been curious about this location since it's so close to work. I really like this place. For me, the real test when it comes to an Argentine restaurant are the empanadas. Passed with flying colors! Excellent variety of cuisine- great wine selection We've been blessed with great service which to me , is the most important factor"
"The other day, I had a huge craving for ropa vieja. So I googled Cuban food and this place came up. We came in and we were basically the only people dining in. The bartender/server greeted us and sat us immediately. She was super kind. Most of the food was incredible. The con gris could have used a bit more salt as the flavor was a little bland. But aside from that? We truly enjoyed ourselves in this literal hole in the wall joint."
"I finally gave this place a try and ordered the mango tango smoothie and a chicken salad sandwich. The food tasted great- ingredients were fresh and light but a little heavy on the mustard for me. I might ask for light mustard next time. My smoothie flavor was good but it was too overblended- frothy like if that makes sense.Other than that I'm definitely going to make another visit to try the other items!"
"Pretty awesome!! Good go too late night! Wings were cooked perfectly and the sauces are kind of what you would expect. Hit the spot!"
"These are the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had. They do not just throw veggies on a sandwich, there is love and creativity! The sandwich makers were wonderful and knew about their craft! All in all probably my favorite sandwich place!"
"We visited on a Sunday morning right at 11am to get the delicious looking Dino ribs!Boy! Did they come through with tasting even better than the picture looked! They were so meaty, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. The sausage was also very good, the meat was the perfect texture with a good snap on the skin. The chopped bbq sandwich was a hefty, full of meat sandwich with so much flavor. The sides were got were potato salad - it was so creamy and really good and the mac n cheese - I could have bathed in it, it was so good! Cheesy and creamy, not dry at all! Don't forget the banana pudding, you'll regret it! The owner was super nice and very friendly, as well as the woman taking our order. Overall- highly recommend, great experience! The weather was perfect to sit outside. Love that it's covered with plenty of parking and places to sit."
"Note: This review is for a DoorDash order.I kept hearing about this place on social media and decided to give it a try. The biscuits were absolutely amazing!I ordered the Lovely Day (non-breaded) chicken sandwich. I didn't have high hopes for it, but I was pleasantly surprised. As a fried chicken sandwich lover, I'm shocked that the non-fried chicken was so delicious--I'd definitely order it again. My husband got the Firebird and was very happy with it. I can see why this place is all over social media, and I'd even go as far as to say it's one of my new favorites! Their biscuits are just as perfect as their sandwiches."
"We only had breakfast here, as guests of the hotel, but I just had to pop in here and leave a review. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed lovely views and excellent service. The menu had plenty of options; I selected the French toast with coconut butter and bananas and my husband had a typical eggs and sausage breakfast. The food was served quickly, hot and was delish! We were most impressed by the staff working that Sunday morning, 9/26, very sweet, friendly and hard-working. People were moving around tables and making special requests, and they granted each with a smile."
"Their smoothie is definitely a mood booster! I have tried their Golden Ticket, Dancing Bear and Nina Simone. I love the little kick cayenne pepper adds to Dancing Bear and the eucalyptus flavor that the cardamom brings into Golden Ticket, so I would recommend trying these two if you are looking for something sweet and fun to drink. The juice bar decor is also captivating! I would literally recommend anyone who enjoys unfettered imagination from art come visit this place and try out a smoothie which sounds interesting to them."
"Tumble 22 just killed the fried chicken game. I was with my siblings and we all shared the dirty fries which were UNBELIEVABLE! The best cheesy fries I've had in so long. We all got different kinds of chicken. I love the Korean style option. The chicken was moist and the sauces were a perfect pair. Our server was very helpful and knew exactly how to guide us since it was our first time. I loved the vibe and the friendliness of the staff even with being there the last hour before they closed. We didn't feel rushed and had such an amazing time!Highly recommend."
"They came down to San Antonio today and I had to go try it and took a co-worker with me.I haven't eaten very much lobster so I can't really compare them to other resturants but I will say that what I had was very delicious. The guy recomended the Connecticut Roll and I also had a bowl of lobster bisque. The roll was chock-full of lobster and very rich. It was surprising how much it filled me up. My co-worker thought the same thing. At first he wasn't too keen on eating outside but was glad he went after we were finished. The bisque was also very tasty as well.I found out they come to SA every Sunday and are close to my work on the second Sunday. I'll definitely go back and try some of the other menu items. If you're not sure, just go. If you don't just know you're missing out.Funny thing is I had to go to New Braunfels this morning and passed them up on 35. I took it as a sign I had to go. Lol!"
"I thought I would try a new restaurant as I was in the mood for Italian. I had lasagna and my nephew had chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious! Mine was packed with cheese and meat. Seasoned to perfection! They were fast and delivered promptly. A little treat was the bread that came with it. Mmm and everything was hot! Great place that I recommend! I will definitely order again from this restaurant. Thank you for such yummy food!"
"Ordered Catering for Thanksgiving, they have an a la carte menu or packages for larger groups. Do not skip out on the mojo !"
"Everything I received here was lackluster. I love Vietnamese food so much, even to the point of preparing a few dishes myself and frequenting many restaurants throughout Austin. However, this is my first time trying Pho 63 and likely my last. I should have read the reviews here before ordering because I noticed a lot of similarities. One thing I love about Vietnamese cuisine is the freshness aspect of the dishes-- which were sorely missing in my vermicelli bowls and spring rolls. Herbs were missing: no basil, no mint or cilantro and it really was a glaring omission in both dishes. Not much flavor in the pork or shrimp that were in both dishes either.I don't think the noodles were rice noodles so the texture was off for me. These were also were served hot instead of chilled and the dishes lacking flavor means I just ate around most of it. I did the same with spring rolls.Crab rangoons were served dark brown and hard, ate around that as well. Texture of the wrappers was flat and overly crunchy and almost burnt tasting.Peach Green Tea: I'm not sure if this is mostly juice of some sort, but there is hardly any peach or actual green tea flavor. If I wanted juice I would have ordered that. Meh.So disappointing."
"Fantastic sandwich shop. Many sandwich items on the menu. Vegan & vegetarian friendly. Super friendly staff. The person making my sandwich took his time to make it RIGHT! It was perfect. Make sure to visit!"
"What in the name of TEXAS is this? I've been in Los Angeles for far too long so seeing gigantic bagel sandwiches like this made me wonder...what do Jewish people think about this outrageous size? Don't Texas our bagels? Are we going overboard with this?I'm gonna throw a superlative down and say this was one of the best bagel sandwiches ever...at least for me. HUGE bagel that was crispy chewy on the outside and so soft inside. Plump heavy handed stacks of sausage meat and big sized eggs, huge crispy hash-brown patty, lots of cheese and subtle spread, big onion flavor in the bagel and big on TASTE. The London Fog was full of earl grey flavor and lightly sweet...served piping hot. I think I'm in love. The line moved way faster than I thought it would. Don't be discouraged if you're in it. It moves."
"I love Soup Peddler! My favorite items are Green Detox Soup and vegan\GF grilled cheese. The staff are always nice and helpful, thank you!"
"Dear Milano's. Thank you for delivering our pizza at 10:30pm as we worked late into the night. Your cheese was gooey and delicious, your crust was firm but welcoming and you mushrooms were fresh and lovely. Thank you for using FRESH vegetables and REAL cheese!! You are wonderful. Love the pizza!!"
"Was lucky to find this gem on the way to work after an appointment today!! You enter on the right side and are able to place an order to go or for dine-in. I was trying to decide and notice a Secret menu item posted at the checkout! Obviously I had to try it!! The Breakfast Bun was delicious! Served on a house made bun it had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and was topped with Swiss and cheddar cheese! The perfect toast to the softest bun and you can tell they use quality ingredients the way it melted in my mouth each bite! The portion was on the large side so I took the rest for lunch! It would be a great item to share with a friend if yall were not too hungry. They were quite busy but still had smiles on their faces and fast service. I had my food in less than 20 min! I feel like this would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a bookclub as it was lively and full of positive energy.Parking: lots of spaces that are constantly rotating with availability and handicapped parking available."
"Soup was good although most of the menu was so out my only complaint is their delivery service charge is crazy for a cup up soup that shows up in a drink cup :/"
"I don't usually eat Texas barbecue but when in Texas I have to and let me tell you Black's Barbecue did not disappoint! We got the fatty beef brisket, jalapeno-cheese sausage and pork spare ribs to share. Everything was soo tender, juicy and just so good! For sides we got the potato salad, mac and cheese and cream corn. The sides went perfectly with the meat. I also love how you can grab your own onions, pickles and bread because I'm an onion girlie and need a whole lot haha. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and it's a big place with a nice and chill vibe. I know there's many barbecue places here in Texas but I think Black's Barbeque is definitely worth a try!"
