"I've had Home Slice Pizza before as takeout from both locations, so I knew I was in for good food when I planned a lunch here. Dining in, however, offered a very different and even more impressive experience.Our server was attentive, and it was nice to have one of the booths at our table for two. They checked on us several times throughout our meal and responded quickly even as the place got busy.We ordered the vegetarian pizza topped with spinach, roasted red peppers, green olives, and onions, requesting a crispy crust. The crust was indeed crispy, just as my friend wanted, and it paired perfectly with the hot cheese and toppings. We really appreciated the kitchen's effort to cook the pizza to our liking, though I think I'll stick with the original NY-style crust on my next visit.The most remarkable aspect of dining inside was the atmosphere. The restaurant opens at 11, and we arrived at 11 on a Sunday to grab a table. By 11:30, the place was already filled up and bustling.I must give a special shoutout to the restroom--it's the most impressive restroom I've ever visited at a restaurant, let alone a pizza place. It's not just the decor or the space; it's the amenities offered. At the sink, there were stocked mouthwash, paper cups, cotton balls, cotton swabs, various flavors of gum and mints, hair ties, hair clips, combs, and sanitary items. This attention to detail shows how much the establishment cares for its customers and their comfort. As if the amazing food weren't enough of a reason to love this place, these thoughtful details really add an extra cherry on top of an already great experience."

"Cenote is a really cozy spot to hunker down for a nice brunch and study session. Inside is aesthetic, with green wood paneling around the place, and decor to complement the more vintage vibe. Outside is also quite nice, as there is plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which is also shielded from the street noise (although the area already appears fairly quiet).I ordered the BLAT sandwich ($12), and I was very pleased with it. The bread had a nice crispiness, yet not so much that it was painful to eat, which I have had my fair share of before. The bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato all complemented each other nicely (as do most BLTs), and I was satiated after eating it all. My friend ordered the Avocado Toast and had only glowing things to say about it, claiming that it was the best avocado toast that she has ever had. To top it all off, the service around was very friendly. Once we were done our food, our plates got whisked away without us having to do anything. It is also nice that there is a water self-service station and cups, so you do not have to wait to get more.Would give 5/5 but did personally feel it was on the pricier side. Would recommend and come again though!"

"Hoody's came up on a conversation about subs and someone I knew swore by this place.Welp. All I can say is the subs here are badass!The Philly cheesesteak is legendary. It's just so packed with flavor with the peppers giving it a slight kick that makes this perfect in every way. Just absolutely delicious til the very last bite. I also got the chicken cheesesteak which I think is pretty good but it just doesn't taste as good as the Philly.The interior here seems like it's got a lot of history with all kinds of photos and memorabilia which gives it so much character.Service is fast and excellent.I'd like to come back and try their turkey and meatball subs. This rating is more focused on this place being a hangout place for groups than the beer selection or food.Came here on a winter's night for post dinner drink on a Wednesday.There was a band and people dancing.Beer line is pretty obvious when you enter the building.They have cocktails too.The bar top wraps around the furthest wall so lots of bar seating. Tons of picnic style tables in a row for large groups and lots of room for groups to stand.Since it was a cold night didn't venture to the outdoor seating.If you are getting picked up by ride share there are a couple of driveways that aren't connected so make sure you know which driveway your driver pulled into.Parking can be tight during peak hours but that is most of Central Austin - ride share and the hassle is eliminated."

"Oh my gosh can you say YUM! This little hole in the wall place was a random pick after going to the urgent care next door and boy am I glad I stopped by. I got the BAT bagel sandwich and my goodness that thing was SO GOOD. I had to pull over in a random parking lot on my way home so I could demolish half the bagel lol. It was so yummy! I got the build your own waffle as well with chocolate chips and it was delish as well! I already want to go back and get more hehe. So when I was near downtown, I made sure to stop by for a coffee break. There wasn't much people on a Sunday late afternoon and the cashier was friendly and quick with the orders... it was a bit odd that we had to cap our own drinks, but that's fine. There was a good amount of inside and outside seating and I liked the vibe, very fitting of Austin and laid back with a rustic feel. I enjoyed the iced turbo, described accurately on the board - the espresso gave it a good coffee flavor that's not lost in the chocolate & cream. No comments on anything else on the menu."

I don't think anyone knows what a true diner burger is until they've had one. I was immediately brought back to my childhood having a burger with my great grandfather and great grandmother and it was insane the sense of nostalgia it brought me.Lewbowski's Grill has won multiple awards and accolades including highlights from Yelp, so that alone should be enough to get you to jump in your car and get here while you can. The fries are cooked to perfection, the burgers are made to order, and you can hear the sizzle from your bowling lane if your lucky enough. No over the top antica, no frills or crazy recipes, just some damn juicy and flavorful burgers.My friend and I were in awe as we each took our respective first bites and we ate in utter silence as an homage to what the kitchen served. Everything was soo tender, juicy and just so good! For sides we got the potato salad, mac and cheese and cream corn. The sides went perfectly with the meat. I also love how you can grab your own onions, pickles and bread because I'm an onion girlie and need a whole lot haha. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and it's a big place with a nice and chill vibe. I know there's many barbecue places here in Texas but I think Black's Barbeque is definitely worth a try!"

If I'm the restaurant, I would always put the dressing on the side for a to go or delivery order... just me! A tad soggy in the middle, but that could be because it sat in a box on the counter for 30 minutes while I ate the wings and salad. All in all, a good meal, delivered quickly!
