"I've had Home Slice Pizza before as takeout from both locations, so I knew I was in for good food when I planned a lunch here. Dining in, however, offered a very different and even more impressive experience. Our server was attentive, and it was nice to have one of the booths at our table for two. They checked on us several times throughout our meal and responded quickly even as the place got busy.We ordered the vegetarian pizza topped with spinach, roasted red peppers, green olives, and onions, requesting a crispy crust. The crust was indeed crispy, just as my friend wanted, and it paired perfectly with the hot cheese and toppings. We really appreciated the kitchen's effort to cook the pizza to our liking, though I think I'll stick with the original NY-style crust on my next visit. The most remarkable aspect of dining inside was the atmosphere. The restaurant opens at 11, and we arrived at 11 on a Sunday to grab a table. By 11:30, the place was already filled up and bustling.I must give a special shoutout to the restroom--it's the most impressive restroom I've ever visited at a restaurant, let alone a pizza place. It's not just the decor or the space; it's the amenities offered. At the sink, there were stocked mouthwash, paper cups, cotton balls, cotton swabs, various flavors of gum and mints, hair ties, hair clips, combs, and sanitary items. This attention to detail shows how much the establishment cares for its customers and their comfort. As if the amazing food weren't enough of a reason to love this place, these thoughtful details really add an extra cherry on top of an already great experience."
"Cenote is a really cozy spot to hunker down for a nice brunch and study session. Inside is aesthetic, with green wood paneling around the place, and decor to complement the more vintage vibe. Outside is also quite nice, as there is plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which is also shielded from the street noise (although the area already appears fairly quiet).I ordered the BLAT sandwich ($12), and I was very pleased with it. The bread had a nice crispiness, yet not so much that it was painful to eat, which I have had my fair share of before. The bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato all complemented each other nicely (as do most BLTs), and I was satiated after eating it all. My friend ordered the Avocado Toast and had only glowing things to say about it, claiming that it was the best avocado toast that she has ever had. To top it all off, the service around was very friendly. Once we were done our food, our plates got whisked away without us having to do anything. It is also nice that there is a water self-service station and cups, so you do not have to wait to get more.Would give 5/5 but did personally feel it was on the pricier side. Would recommend and come again though!"

"Hoody's came up on a conversation about subs and someone I knew swore by this place.Welp. All I can say is the subs here are badass! The Philly cheesesteak is legendary. It's just so packed with flavor with the peppers giving it a slight kick that makes this perfect in every way. Just absolutely delicious til the very last bite. I also got the chicken cheesesteak which I think is pretty good but it just doesn't taste as good as the Philly. The interior here seems like it's got a lot of history with all kinds of photos and memorabilia which gives it so much character.Service is fast and excellent.I'd like to come back and try their turkey and meatball subs. Will report back!"
"My first time here and not my last. This rating is more focused on this place being a hangout place for groups than the beer selection or food.Came here on a winter's night for post dinner drink on a Wednesday. There was a band and people dancing.Beer line is pretty obvious when you enter the building. They have cocktails too.The bar top wraps around the furthest wall so lots of bar seating. Tons of picnic style tables in a row for large groups and lots of room for groups to stand.Since it was a cold night didn't venture to the outdoor seating. If you are getting picked up by ride share there are a couple of driveways that aren't connected so make sure you know which driveway your driver pulled into.Parking can be tight during peak hours but that is most of Central Austin - ride share and the hassle is eliminated."
"We were thrilled to discover this hidden gem! A hot pastrami sandwich, lentil soup, homemade blueberry muffin and the BEST cup of tea I've ever had in the USA . I'm a Brit and would head back here just for the excellent tea! Served in individual tea pots, it was made to perfection. My new fave Austin spot."
"Best little secret cafe in South Austin. We love the grass fed hamburgers, hand breaded onion rings, and fresh cut fries. The cheesesteak sandwich is also not to be missed. They recently added homemade desserts, cheesecake, brownies, huge cookies and gluten free and vegan desserts. Love to bring the family here for a chill lunch or dinner. **Casual atmosphere with great food!"
"Always great food and large portions. Best chicken fried steak in Bastrop. The staff are friendly."
"Oh my gosh can you say YUM! This little hole in the wall place was a random pick after going to the urgent care next door and boy am I glad I stopped by. I got the BAT bagel sandwich and my goodness that thing was SO GOOD. I had to pull over in a random parking lot on my way home so I could demolish half the bagel lol. It was so yummy! I got the build your own waffle as well with chocolate chips and it was delish as well! I already want to go back and get more hehe. I would say the price for the waffle was a little high considering the size, but the taste is so good I would buy more. Service was extremely quick and the guys were super nice. Can't wait to go back"
"First time eating here. Was very impressed with the serving size of the fries. Huge burger too!I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in town for Cabela's"
"ChatGBT suggested I try the Iced Turbo at Jo's Coffee. I passed by its original location at South Congress with the "I love you so much" mural but didn't want coffee then. So when I was near downtown, I made sure to stop by for a coffee break. There wasn't much people on a Sunday late afternoon and the cashier was friendly and quick with the orders... it was a bit odd that we had to cap our own drinks, but that's fine. There was a good amount of inside and outside seating and I liked the vibe, very fitting of Austin and laid back with a rustic feel. I enjoyed the iced turbo, described accurately on the board - the espresso gave it a good coffee flavor that's not lost in the chocolate & cream. No comments on anything else on the menu."
"In light of recent news about Highland Lanes moving locations, I have to say that aside from the classic game of bowling what I'm going to miss most is the damn near perfection of Lewbowsi's Grill burgers. I don't think anyone knows what a true diner burger is until they've had one. I was immediately brought back to my childhood having a burger with my great grandfather and great grandmother and it was insane the sense of nostalgia it brought me.Lewbowski's Grill has won multiple awards and accolades including highlights from Yelp, so that alone should be enough to get you to jump in your car and get here while you can. The fries are cooked to perfection, the burgers are made to order, and you can hear the sizzle from your bowling lane if your lucky enough. No over the top antica, no frills or crazy recipes, just some damn juicy and flavorful burgers. My friend and I were in awe as we each took our respective first bites and we ate in utter silence as an homage to what the kitchen served. If burgers were zero calorie I'm pretty sure i'd be here at least once a week if it were up to me lol.Damn now I'm craving a Lebowski's Grill cheeseburger and might have to sacrifice the diet later this week..."
"Wow! Food was bussin!! Service was quick and what a cute food truck. We ordered the Loma saltado and woah the steak used here was flavored to perfection not a bite was left of this plate. We also got the ceviche which was great and traditional, the perfect combo of fish and crunchy with the yucca chips, it could have more chips added to the plate but still amazing!"

Home slice has some damn good subs. I recommend their Turkey sub over the others but I also have not tried their hot subs yet.Their pizza is also good with a nice crispy bottom. I had some of the best service I've seen in a while from a guy named "Shailen" I would recommend you as for him as he took our order with a charming personality. They also have it by the slice so you could go for whatever their special is. I once had this 4 days in a row.

4.5 Stars I stopped by this charming spot on a Monday morning to work for a bit and grab breakfast. The sausage breakfast sandwich ($12) on a bagel ($2) was marvelous - served with a side of chipotle aioli. The microfoam latte was nice, though the espresso has a tart flavor that might not be for everyone. The cute, earthy decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were polite and attentive.Overall, it's a fantastic spot for fresh food and quality coffee. I'll definitely be back!

Great service, and the price is very reasonable. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the chicken cheesesteak--I preferred the steak. The sub was juicy and flavorful. The chili was not too spicy and had a slight tanginess, which added a nice kick. The store has a retro vibe. The chairs aren't exactly comfortable but are fine for a quick dine-in. I'll definitely come back to try other items.

Okay okay! Had a great time at ABGB. Beer on tap was nice and we were excited to see that a band was scheduled for the evening (Friday). The staff were friendly and let us sample a few beers while at the bar and we ordered a slice of pizza to share. Overall, it was good for a bar snack and hit the spot, but I wouldn't specifically come here in the future for pizza. There was ample parking, cute outdoor seating, and long picnic table and bar seating inside. The band was a blast - people were up dancing which really made it a special evening. Can't wait to make this a regular neighborhood spot!

Amazing service and was so fast! Great location and plenty of street parking! I loved the ability to do half a sandwich and add a soup or salad to some of the sandwich options. I wish there were more sandwiches to do the half option with. There aren't that many indoor tables and I went on a cold day so some people had to sit outside. Loved it and will be back!

We came here for dinner & dessert. The spot is cute and the staff are friendly. The food was amazing. We loved the gluten free options as well as the philly cheesesteak that was vegan. I also adored the gluten free cheesecake. The banana nut cake is good too. Highly recommend.

We found this awesome restaurant with Yelp. It is small which emphasizes the 'close-knit community gathering place' atmosphere. But expect a wait. Luckily we arrived at the perfect time and were seated in 15 minutes. The brunch menu offers something for everyone. The staff was attentive and the food was fantastic! My only recommendation is if you order the Famous Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese, get the cream cheese on the side. I think it took away from tasting the tomato... and yes... there are only 2 thin slices. For a Famous Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwich the famous stars should be the tomatoes.... Where are they?

Came here for a casual breakfast date and was delighted to find house made rosemary sea salt bagels! It was delicious by itself, but I wanted to be extra and ordered a lox bagel with tomato, capers, and cream cheese. It was packed with cream cheese. Probably could use less cream cheese and more lox, but was delicious nonetheless. The BAT bagel sandwich was even better- bacon, avocado, tomato, provolone, egg on a jalepeno cheddar bagel is everything a person could want in a breakfast sandwich!

"Fajitas are back to their regularly scheduled program . Where else can you get fajitas for two for $35? The beef and chicken combination is the best with lots of green peppers to boost. Get a frozen or two that are strong and tasty."
"Was lucky to find this gem on the way to work after an appointment today!! You enter on the right side and are able to place an order to go or for dine-in. I was trying to decide and notice a Secret menu item posted at the checkout! Obviously I had to try it!! The Breakfast Bun was delicious! Served on a house made bun it had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and was topped with Swiss and cheddar cheese! The perfect toast to the softest bun and you can tell they use quality ingredients the way it melted in my mouth each bite! The portion was on the large side so I took the rest for lunch! It would be a great item to share with a friend if yall were not too hungry. They were quite busy but still had smiles on their faces and fast service. I had my food in less than 20 min! I feel like this would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a bookclub as it was lively and full of positive energy.Parking: lots of spaces that are constantly rotating with availability and handicapped parking available."
"Stopped in for a meal, and I am very glad I did. It was the best brisket I have ever had, very tender and delicious. The sausage links tasted very fresh and the flavors were very nice. The BBQ sauce has a nice sweet taste which paired well with the pickles and the meat. They also use local ingredients! The man behind the counter was friendly and provided nice service. Outside area was nice, lots of trees for shade. I would definitely return again and bring some friends with me next time to share the goodness."
"Very nice atmosphere and service. We ordered a Hazy IPA that was excellent! We also ordered a large Meat Almighty pizza. Presentation was good just the right amount of meat and cheese. Could've used a little more sauce, but my opinion a very good pizza! Definitely going to come back!"
"My favorite banh mi shop in Austin. Not only is it affordable, but it is delicious as well. You're not going to find a place that will sell you a banh mi under $7 anymore. I've been coming here the past few months and the food is always consistent and I never really have any complaints. My usual is the dac biet special sandwich, an order of goi cuon with nem, and an ice coffee. I would say 10/10 times it taste the exactly the same as I ordered last time and it never disappoints."
"My son and I ate lunch here today. Still a 5 Star Burger Joint !!! The burgers are greasy and require several napkins but they are delicious. I asked for extra pickles and got plenty which made my day !!! The dining area is fairly clean, and the staff is friendly. Worthy of a bookmark and a try !!!"
"I have been remiss in not updating my initial review for so long! I must have just gone when they were having an off day, because this place is now in my regular rotation. The bread is always soft and fresh and the sandwiches made with love and lots of fresh veggies. The staff are cheerful and welcoming. What a gem of a local spot!"
"I don't usually eat Texas barbecue but when in Texas I have to and let me tell you Black's Barbecue did not disappoint! We got the fatty beef brisket, jalapeno-cheese sausage and pork spare ribs to share. Everything was soo tender, juicy and just so good! For sides we got the potato salad, mac and cheese and cream corn. The sides went perfectly with the meat. I also love how you can grab your own onions, pickles and bread because I'm an onion girlie and need a whole lot haha. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and it's a big place with a nice and chill vibe. I know there's many barbecue places here in Texas but I think Black's Barbeque is definitely worth a try!"
"Fun place, great staff, nice view, and good food & drinks. Great place on a sunny day"
"Green beans, collard beans, cabbage... not to mention the brisket! Every time we eat Sweetie's I'm fully satisfied. Employees are super friendly and there's seating available outside if you're up to dining al fresco. The flavors are deep and cooked tender, juicy, and just right. The dining area inside is limited but again, you have an option to sit outside if you're good with the Texas weather dujour. ;)"
"Chocolate pie and buttermilk pie were amazing. Definitely one of the best buttermilk pie slices I've ever had - loved that it was kind of citrusy! Chocolate pie was way better than expected, I feel like they're usually super mid but the bitterness from the cocoa powder on top offset the sweetness of the actual pie, and the whipped cream wasn't sweetened much so overall very balanced."
"Oh my my, This was the tastiest club I've had in a long time. Packed with bacon and cheese on Gluten free bread, I'm in heaven. The food was done in a timely manner and served with fabulous smiles. Thank you for making my day."
"Hell yes, this place was amazing!!!! My friends and I were doing a volunteer gig next door (no, not at the bar...the other way) and were hungry when we were done. Of course, I got on yelp and realized we were literally right next door to greatness! I look through the window and was like "hmmm, I dunno", but yelp has never lead me wrong. So, we head over there and everyone was so happy with what they got! I had the "superb hot sandwich" which was kin to a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Holy smokes, it was so good! Another friend had the lox and cream cheese bagel and she just raves about it. Great price, great place!"
"This is such a cool spot! The food was delicious--even the chicken fried steak, which I usually don't like, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially the new guy who mentioned he started just a couple of weeks ago. The creepy little girl in the mirror added a unique and fun touch. I'd definitely come back!"
"This is a perfect place to get a quick meal to go! I came here to grab something for dinner and the food was great and the worker was super sweet and gave me good suggestions. I got the chicken cali on white with spinach, romaine, tomato, tzatziki, and jalapeño ranch. It was so yummy!! The chicken was seasoned really well and the veggies tested pretty fresh. The restaurant itself was pretty simple, nothing fancy but it is perfect for what it is."
"I finally tried Ken's for lunch. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and added jalapeños. It did not disappoint. Trying to lift it and eat it by hand was futile. I ended up using knife and fork. Definitely a great sandwich. Friend had the beef, lettuce and tomato crunchy tacos. They were excellent and like everything there a home run. Prices are very reasonable! The inflation we are suffering has hit every restaurant even Ken's. One thing is still true, you get a great deal still for the price! Best value for all the places in area. Breakfast tacos are epic and definitely some of best in Austin!"
"Best BBQ in New Braunfels area- A Must-Try!We moved to the area seven months ago, eager to experience authentic Texas BBQ. Unfortunately, our experiences have mostly been disappointing, with places often serving BBQ that's too salty, dry, overpriced, or lacking in seasoning. We tried the 5 top-rated BBQ joints in New Braunfels area, but none compared to Bare Bull BBQ.Bare Bull BBQ is a true smokehouse! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of wood fire sets the tone for an amazing meal. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming. We ordered the three-meat sampler, which included brisket, burnt ends, and chicken, while my husband opted for the brisket sandwich. Every bite was delicious--the meat was juicy with perfect bark marks. The sides were equally impressive, and the meal was perfectly finished with their banana pudding. What's more, the prices are incredibly reasonable--half the cost of Black's BBQ. Bare Bull BBQ has definitely earned our business, and we will be back!Photos doesn't do any justice, just go try it!"
"This is a must if your on Lake Austin! Driving up and docking your boat is a fun experience and the staff was super helpful. We pulled up after a day on the water and this food hit the spot! I ordered the Scooter and it was the prefect mix of dinner food with out being too greasy. The staff also offered up new sauces for the fries and onion rings we ordered. We all left the table happily satisfied. The rive is a great backdrop while you eat. It is prefect for a picture to capture a wonderful day on the water."
"First time trying Saccone's, last minute order to be delivered. It was good. Greek salad, wings (hot) and pizza (order my own combo), and all was delivered in about 30 minutes. Piping hot! I was shocked by how hot the wings and pizza were. The negative on the salad... the dressing was already on it. I did not see a "dressing on the side" option when ordering. If I'm the restaurant, I would always put the dressing on the side for a to go or delivery order... just me! The wings were good, just wings, no batter... fried crispy and the sauce was good and hot (spiciness). The pizza was also good, nice thin crust. A tad soggy in the middle, but that could be because it sat in a box on the counter for 30 minutes while I ate the wings and salad. All in all, a good meal, delivered quickly! We'll definitely try it again. Recommend Saconne's for pizza, salad and wings."
"LOVE this bbq. The brisket, the ribs, and most of the sides are on point. Pro tip: Jalapeño/cheddar sausage isn't on the menu but they serve it until they run out. Try the sweet potato side and the mac n cheese. while the mac is a little peppery it's delicious."
"We went here for a play date! As a parent of a small child living up NW, this place is a great option for the whole family. The playground is nice, and the burgers and fries are pretty decent. I love that you can order mini versions of their burgers. We shared the 3 mini option with a side of mixed fries (regular and sweet potato) which was really nice. My only complaint is the noise. We showed up at opening time (11am) on Saturday, and it got very busy and loud quickly. Tip: We went next door into Amy's ice cream to borrow some crayons and paper, where it was blissfully quiet and calm."
"Give this place a 5 stars! First time trying it and wanted something different from the corporate burger chains surrounding this hidden diamond. The service was great, respectful and courteous. Ordered the double meat burger and added cheese and jalapeños and bacon! With small fries and onion rings to try. The burger was .25lb and was packed good. Good amount of jalapenos. Spread across the burger not placed in the center like other places. The cheese tasted great. The meat was cooked to perfection. Onion rings were fried well. The batter had a great taste to it also. The fries were plain, no seasonings but nothing ketchup w a lil salt can't fix. I'm glad I found this place. Will definitely look for it when I'm visiting Austin."
"Nothing says comfort food like a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich from Burro Cheese Kitchen. Artisan cheeses and breads are used to create mouth-watering masterpieces like the Long Tall Texan (aged cheddar cheese, brisket and serrano-pineapple sauce on sourdough bread) or the Waylon & Willie (gouda and cheddar cheeses, caramelized onions, peppercorns and spicy maple-bacon sauce on sourdough). The history behind the brand: The inspiration for Burro Cheese Kitchen struck when owner Justin Burrow, an Austin native, spent five years in Seattle. There, he discovered the joys of grilled cheese and got the idea of pairing various cheeses with various sauces and presenting a cheese plate dining experience as a grilled cheese sandwich. After trying out hundreds of combinations, Burro Grilled Cheese Kitchen opened its doors in 2013 and has been a solid favorite of the Austin food scene since then. The name comes from the most expensive cheese in the world, Balkan Burro cheese that goes for up to $750 per pound. If you're going to commit to making great grilled cheese sandwiches, you might as well aim to be the best of the best. What I got: Long Tall Texan- Sourdough, aged cheddar, brisket, and Serrano Pineapple sauce. This sandwich was the ideal combination of rich and savory and sweet! I shared my sandwich with Thing Two as this sandwich was a beast! The sandwich was a little tough in some aspects, but overall, it was a good showing for this food trailer!"
