"The food tasted old and smelledTo fishy for a beef bowl. After eating it today I was literally running to the restroom.Won't be giving this a second shot."
"This place was the bomb! I love coming here. Such a fun and delicious experience!Came on a Wednesday night around 9pm. This place was still buzzing with energy. Took me a moment but found it to be intriguing as ordering happens at the counter before you grab a seat. The stools for the counter were super high. If you don't mind the climb or the leg swing over (like you're getting on a bike), it was fun sitting up so high.Ramen was delicious. Noodles were thinner than I'm used to but perfectly made. Great texture! I got extra pork and the corn butter bomb. The pork seemed a bit smoky and a bit on the fatty side but it was delish! Got the Tonkotsu Sho-Yu soup base which was a bit creamy. So good! My food came out super fast. I'm craving ramen all over again!"

"We stopped for our first time today, but it won't be our last. The Silky Pork Broth Ramen is off the charts flavorful! We could have easily split the ramen. Plus with appetizers it was way more than we could eat. Hubby ordered the BBQ Chicken and the Shaggy Dog Sushi roll. He loved the sushi roll. The chicken had a great flavor, just a touch chewy. He would get both again. I ordered the Tempura Veggies and they were great. They renovated the restaurant very nicely. You order from your table. Service was good. Items were brought to the table out of order but it didn't matter. They all were piping hot , just how I like it."
"My spouse decided that we would do Hokkaido this evening, and I am glad she did. We got the Jalapeño poppers, the gyoza, the seaweed salad, and the Tonkotsu Shoyu. The poppers are great the great because in addition to the normal cream cheese and jalapeño, there was the faux crab, and and a lovely breading. *So* good! The gyoza is far superior to any gyoza I've had in a buffet: it had just the right amount of browning around the edges. The seaweed salad was tasty and filling. But the star of the show was the Tonkotsu Shoyu. Smooth, tasty broth, delicious pork, and bamboo shoots and the ramen. The bamboo shoots really absorbed the umami of the broth, as did the noodles. And the soft-boiled egg went perfectly with it. Seriously good stuff. Honestly, for Japanese food you can't go wrong with Hokkaido."
"I'M A FOODIE PEEPS!!! And I travel the world. I have to say......I was impressed with the quality, portion size and presentation of the food at this sushi place. I live relatively close to Sunset Valley and I love going shopping in this area. So when my son said that he wanted sushi...I said "Let's try somewhere new!!!" Normally I don't. But I'm really glad that we did!!! The restaurant was quaint, had a lot of parking and we had the sweetest waitress....Miss. Vonie......then the food was great too. We eat sushi at least twice a week.....And this hands down NOW IS OUR NEW, FAVORITE SPOT, IN THE AREA!!! Reasonably priced and the waitress let us know, that if we go there between 1-3pm, then they have major specials. 2 rolls for $15.....3 for something etc. All I know is I was impressed. WE'LL SO BE BACK. So get ready to meet out whole clan Bluefin!!! See you again soon."
"Wow. Husband and I tried this place on a whim when we wanted to try something new and was in the area. Got there around 6ish, small 10 min wait. When we left? Like an hour wait. Glad we got there early!I'm a vegetarian, and they only have one vegetarian option but holy MOLY is it delicious. Fried tofu, egg, spinach, onions, peppers, and spinach noodles. It was SO good. Got it with a side of edamame and a hot chocolate (cuz it was cold outside). Everything was delicious! Husband got their most popular ramen. I can't remember the name but it's the first ramen listed in the menu. I can see why this place is so popular. Can definitely see myself returning!"
"A little hesitant because there were no other patrons and the waitstaff didn't understand/speak much English, but let me tell you, they couldn't have been more nicer. With language barrier, I used the Notepad app on my phone to type out the number/order and she was so appreciative. We are truly the appreciative ones, though! The sushi was fresh, amazing, and this is now my favorite spot for sushi in this area. I tried a few other high star places and wasn't impressed with taste or quality, but A Go Go is special"
"The best tofu ever. It was so well done. Very flavorful and made to order. We ordered the sesame sweet and sour tofu bowl. We will be coming here again. The fried rice was so good as well. We were so excited to eat we forgot to take pictures."
"Eurasia has slowly morphed into our go-to ramen spot. Partially for the ample parking, partially because there's never a line, but mostly because the menu continues to evolve in interesting ways. For example, they recently introduced "reaper ramen." The important thing to understand about the entire menu is that the heat scale they provide is...well, unreliable. My wife caught a wild hair and decided to order the reaper ramen last weekend. I was expecting her to completely implode, but despite the name, it was the least spicy ramen we've tried here! The spicy chicken, tan-tan and miso-hot have all been significantly hotter. Maybe that's a sign from the universe to branch out and try something new today. Maybe it's our inability to decode the spicy glyphs on the menu. Or maybe it's a testament to Eurasia constantly upping their game. Ya'll keep pumping out the hits, and we'll keep returning!"
"The BEST Chinese food in Austin! I've tried 100 of places in Texas, and the Chinese food has always been abysmal. This place is hands-down, the best. Before ordering, I looked at the yelp pictures and once I noticed the authentic homemade dumplings, I already know it was gonna be good and the food was Outstanding!"
"BEST ramen we've ever had!! We found Michi by happenstance and I'm so glad we did! We couldn't decide what we wanted for dinner and prior to this we considered going out. Honey, please the best out is in my bed or in another country haha! Anywho, Michi was and is the truth! This market is a grocery store/restaurant and they know what they are doing. We placed the order online and it was a simple process. Other places we discovered made it hard to customize our orders. We had one with chicken and a few additional/subs and a veggie option. The ramen was flavorful, hot, and steamy. I've been thinking about this ramen since we left and I cannot WAIT to return! The service was lovely. They were out of the free ice cream though which was a bummer so maybe next time. The environment was that of a grocer which worked for us. I will be returning and if I could give them 10 stars I would. Enjoy!"
"Ramen Del Barrio was absolutely delicious! The Asian/Tex Mex fusion of flavors creates dishes that are so unique. My friends and I shared:- Pastor Yaki-Tacos: I'm a huge fan of al pastor tacos to begin with, so combing perfectly seasoned, cooked pork belly with the charred pineapple/green salsa was incredible- Snow Crab Tostada: I LOVED the tostada! This was my favorite dish from RDB. It was a blast of flavor. Even though it's pricey for the size, I would go back just for the tostada - Carnitas Tonkatsu: large portion, very stuffing. The creaminess of the broth was great and I loved adding the habanero mayu salsa perronas to it! - Pozole Tonkosu: one of my friends got this, so I only tried the broth but I liked how it was more chili based and less creamyWe came at a busy time and waited in line for ~40 minutes. The food came relatively quickly after ordering but I wish the process to order food was more efficient. Although the seating is casual (in the food court of Hana World), the food easily makes up for the small downsides. RDB is definitely a place I will come back to, especially on the rare cold days of Austin!"

There aren't many great sushi options in southeast Austin, and those that are available often fall short. As a sushi lover, I'm always on the lookout for new spots. I've been to the Bluefin Sushi in Sunset Valley, so when I heard they were opening a location in Kyle, I had to check it out.The Bluefin Sushi in Kyle is significantly different from its counterpart in Sunset Valley, except for the food. Instead of traditional table service, this location uses electronic counter service. Upon arrival, you place your order on electronic screens, receive a number, and wait for your food to be delivered. Plates and cups are available at the beverage station, and you'll need to request soy sauce from the counter. While the sushi itself is pretty solid and deserving of a 4-star rating, the poor service and dirty tables--along with unpleasant odors in some areas--drag the overall experience down to a 3-star rating.

My husband and I love this place! It's really cozy and we personally love that there are just a few options. I feel like when there are too many, I tend to get overwhelmed. All the options they have satisfy everybody's taste.I, for example, tend to be very minimal and classic, so I always order "THE OG", take away the scallions, and add extra noodles and it always fills me up so much! (Probably could do without the extra noodles but they're soooo good!)My husband normally gets the "Mi-So-Hot" and loves it so much! He also added the "Fire in a bowl" bomb last time we went and he absolutely loved how spicy and tasty it was.Unfortunately I can't give you my advice on it cause I don't do spicy lol I'm trying to build my tolerance thoI personally love how creamy the tonkotsu broth is and everything is just impeccable. The chashu pork is so tender that you can break it apart with your chopsticks, and the ajitama egg is cooked to perfection, with a really nice creamy yolk! There are more options on the menu, so pick the one you prefer. The staff also answer any questions you might have!I absolutely recommend this place!

Service - 5/5Food - 3/5Price - 2/5 We had 2 beers, spicy miso ramen, 50/50 bbq plate, spicy tuna roll and 3 pieces of salmon sashimi $74Sashimi was fresh and so was the roll both were tasty and presented well. The spicy miso ramen is very flavorful but is a little spicy. The egg was cooked well but it's pre cooked and was cold. Be prepared for leftovers as the Ramen is hearty in size. The bbq is a NOooooo like my wife didn't finish it and didn't even want it to go. So I'd say skip it. If you're not a ramen or sushi person get the fried rice. I mean can you mess up fried rice I'd come back but wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to get here. Service and convenience were both great.

The food, service, and ambiance of the place is incredible. The food was hot and came out quick (took us less than 15 min in between ordering the food and receiving). Massive amount of parking, would definitely go here again!

Bluefin is always really solid for sushi & ramen! Good rolls, and really friendly service. Always a good pick when we are in the mood for sushi and want something convenient. Also they have good music and live music too sometimes.

Wow this was awesome. My wife and I were looking for something hot to eat considering it was really cold outside, and we eventually decided on ramen. We haven't really had that many great experiences with ramen restaurants in the past, but this one was great! The servers were really nice, the wait time wasn't too bad either since it doesn't take a long time to get seated, eat, and then be on your way.Speaking of, our food came out really fast. Like really fast. Normally that's not good for a restaurant, considering it could have probably been in the microwave for some time, but for here that wasn't the case. I was surprised when everything came out so quickly and tasted hot, flavorful and fantastic.By the way, if you get the vegetarian option, your ramen will be full to the brim.I can't give it justice for how great the food was here, so I'd just go and experience it for yourself.

"Ebisu was good! I ordered sushi takeout from here, and I got one of their combos that came with a salmon sushi roll and a few pieces of nigiri. It was good, except I did not like that they included wasabi on the rice on their nigiri pieces. However, the salmon sushi roll pieces were large, and the fish tasted good for the most part. I did not got to the restaurant, so I cannot speak about the service or ambiance at the restaurant. 7/10, I might order it again and visit the spot in person."
"We ordered Ramen and sushi. The roll was huge and very good. I had the chicken ramen while my friend had the pork ramen and both were tasty and they were very generous with the protein. I also liked that it wasn't salty! Great service!"
"Mine & the hubby's go to place (I literally fly here to RYW airport) for THE BEST House Special Beef. Carole & her hubby, John, do an amazing job serving their customers needs & cooking with a passion to please! Leather, the attentive waitress does an incredible job keeping your drinks topped off & ensuring you are well cared for as well. The ambiance is relaxing & the restaurant is very clean. If you enjoy amazingly flavorful & perfectly made Chinese food, with an attentive wait staff, don't walk, RUN (or fly) here! Btw, the sauces are all house made. No fake bottled immatations here- just pure & good homemade recipes all done by John."
"Craving sushi, my hubby and I decided to try Yoshiko based on my stylist's recommendation. Hit the spot! The place is small but has several booths, tables and seats at the sushi bar. Fortunately, we arrived just before the crowd and got a table for two right away. The waiter was friendly and helpful, answering questions about the menu. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer which was amazing! The Osumashi soup touched my soul and set my palette up for the rest of the meal. We enjoyed the American Dream, Spider and Shaggy Dog rolls. That was among the best Shaggy Dog rolls we've had! This place is now on our list of ATX spots."
"I almost never get chicken broth ramen but since that pretty much all they had I have to a try. It was so delicious! I had the black garlic ramen and it was so rich and flavorful. I will be back for sure!"
"The food was good, but I'm inexperienced in figuring out what's better and "not" better. I ordered what I thought was a cold dish, and was quite surprised to get warm with the first bite. It was good though. I recommend you ask more questions than I did if you're as inexperienced as I. The only thing I have a minor issue with is that they don't take cash."
"This is the 3rd sushi place that I try in San Marcos and it's hands down the best one so far. Incredible value for the quality of food. FOOD: Pretty much everything I ate was awesome. The sushi platter (5/5) was a great deal at $26 and the nigiri was delicious and fresh. The cucumber rolls were incredible. My only complain with this dish would be that the California roll was a bit skimpy on the crab meat. Also ordered the Brooklyn roll (5/5) which was also amazing. The white tuna on top was seared and inside there was crawfish meat... the whole roll was just so tasty. Also tried the Arctic roll (4/5) which was interesting. Like a Philly but with sweet chili sauce on top. Also tried the Cowboy roll (5/5) which was also a great choice. Even their egg drop soup (4/5) was good!SERVICE: Waiter was great and had many recommendations for the sushi rolls. LOCATION: In a bit of an isolated area but great parking all around. NOTEWORTHY: Definitely a place that I intend to go back to. Sushi seemed authentic, many creative rolls, and everyone in my party was happy with their food (ramen and udon). Better than Hokkaido across the street in my opinion!"
"How has it taken me this long to try ramen tatsuya?! We visited on a weeknight and it was fairly busy. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order and they gave us a table number. The food came out in good time. The broth was so tasty! It was rich, but not too rich where it would be overwhelming. The ingredients seems fresh and I devoured it. I recommend the mi-so-not as pictured here. We also ordered the hot sake, which is served in an individual sized carafe."
"What an amazing experience I had at Sushi Hi. This is a small local establishment on research Boulevard. It was my first time going to this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised they serve a combination of Korean and Japanese cuisine on two different menus and my waitress. Michele was very knowledgeable of both menus. Once again this was my first time in this restaurant she took the time to explain both menus to me, and I chose to get the Ramen noodle bowl with veggies and pork belly as the pork meat. I also got a chili bomb on the side where I could spice it up as hot as I wanted to the dish came with a fork, a spoon and chopsticks so you could decide what you wanted to use as utensils. The boat came out nice and hot with the vegetables cooked perfectly, and the pork belly was very tasty. The chili bomb that I put into my Ramen was awesome and tasted wonderful. The white staff, and even the owner was there to assist all the patrons that came in. This was definitely a great experience it had the feel of your local homestyle restaurant with nothing super fancy, except the great tasting food that was extremely well prepared with care and love that you would expect from a hometown eatery. Once again they were busy, but it was not too loud that you could have a conversation with your friends and not be drowned out. I would recommend this place for large birthday parties or events because they go out of their way to take care of you and explain everything for the experienced person or the novice .The dessert was mango ice, cream, covered in a flavored rice covering that was very tasty I am looking forward to going back to try some of their sushi. I was there alone, but I want to experience it with my friends so I will definitely bring them back and have some of their delicious sushi because it definitely looks good. ."
"From time to time, I crave for some fried chicken bites. This karagee rice bowl satisfies it. The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy inside and very flavorful. Comes with spicy Mayo dip on the side. Portion is perfect for me -- I don't get too full too much. I would order from here again for sure!!Parking is a bit challenging but doable for quick pickup. I go from the back alley."
"I've only ordered the Tontkusu here but it never disappoints, very thick and consistent! I order also the small ramen bowl for my kid and she everytime, she dances coz it is so good!Support this business, they are super quick and kind and their food is just so good."
"I was here with my team for lunch. Ambiance and ServiceI reserved table for 11 people two days in advance, and table was ready within 5 mins when we reached. It was very cold in the restaurant but on our request they adjusted temperature. Food:Here I only posted three pics as I said it was a team lunch. :PBut we tried multiple appetizers. My friend suggested their ramen. I ordered creamy veg ramen with shrimps. Everybody liked the food. Overall it was a good experience. They missed one of the item I ordered. But sometimes it happens when u have a large group. I'll definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit again to try their sushi rolls, and drinks."
"Great Raman and close to me!!! That means I can come back more often!! Great service too. We had the beef dumplings for an appetizer and they were great too."
"I love Sazan ramen, probably my favorite in all of Austin. It's nestled in the ever-growing 99 Ranch plaza. I like how the menu is smaller and not intimidating, they have a good selection of cocktails, and service is always good. Everything I've tried has been good, tasty and fresh. The setting is more on the intimate side which is nice for a date night if you don't want bright lights and boring tables/chairs."
"A group of friends and I decided to meet here for lunch. This is a small little ramen shop located inside a plaza area with plenty of parking. The food was perfect and portions were generous. Lots of items on the menu looked great, from several different types of ramen, starters and small dishes, as well as sushi rolls. I got the Little Kanji since I knew that ramen is pretty filling. The kid's ramen included pork bone soup with soy sauce based seasoning chashu, wood ear mushroom, ajitama egg corn, nori. It was delicious! They are closed on Mondays and hours are 11am to 8pm Tuesday-Sunday."
"I'll be honest and say that when I heard good ramen in Austin? I was definitely incredulous, but my buddy said he liked it and it was good. The endorsement still made me skeptical but with beggars not being choosers and everything I went in. It was a Friday night and it was dark with a lot of chochin hanging, trying to go for the Izakaya feel. They actually did have yakitori as a menu item and chicken hearts was one of the items available! Awesome! It definitely bumped up the authenticity of the place. You could tell the hearts were frozen, but honestly it has been hard to find them anywhere stateside so it was a minor gripe. For the main, I ended up getting the Tonkatsu Original, Extra Spicy with an egg. The broth didn't have as much depth as I would have liked but still not bad. I was lowkey impressed with their ramen and again the chicken hearts gets extra respect from me."
"Tasty, fresh, and fun atmosphere! This was the perfect place for a birthday dinner. The server was attentive and helpful. We lucked out with a parking space a very short walk from the front door on south congress. Plan accordingly if you have a reservation."
"A first time visit here. After a chilly visit to the LIGHT park at Dell Diamond, this restaurant is secluded in a commercial strip and found by Yelp locations. From the outside it was less lighted, but definitely beams originality and decency. We came for a hot bowl of ramen and we found more. This place was cute! Not many guests at this time 7:00 pm. The staff was friendly. The menu was simple. When asked for a kids menu, we learned that the owners used to have a menu with more than 100 items and now limited the items. They do not have kids items. Suggested was to order an appetizer. Ended up ordering a full meal. The ramens were tasty and very rich. The amount was too little. Definitely not enough broth. Black sauce ramen was the tastiest to my opinion and the spicy chicken ramen was too spicy. Hot miso was actually most balanced. The chicken Karaage that we ordered 2 servings of, was well marinated and soft fried, not as crispy as I would have expected. There was a $2.99 deal for fresh tea boba if you ordered a meal. But added the milk it became $6.50. The milk that was used must have been dairy and not lactose free milk, because we got the tummy troubles. Bobas are commonly served with lactose free milk. And then came the bill: 5 quick small meals for $137...."
"Been dining here for several years, finally coming around to posting a review! The only ramen in the Austin area I can eat! I find that ramen broth can be pretty salty and that's the case with most ramen shops in Austin and I gave up on ramen in Austin until ramen512 came around. Chef Vinh is very passionate about his ramen craft and it shows through his food. Now even making his own noodles in house!! The broth is very flavorful and rich. Very crispy karaage! Located right next to Randall's. Plenty of parking. The dining space is small so be ready for a wait if you have a large party or come during peak hours."
"Blue Fin really gets into the spooky Halloween spirit! So much fun. And always a great time! Sushi served with love!"
"Food was delicious close to home.I'm coming back. I ordered the wontam ramen and my husband got the beef ramen."
"I stumbled upon a gem here. The atomosphere is soothing, slightly dark but with wonderful Geisha wall art. The interior Is very cclean and I was greeted immediately at the door. The server was super attentive, even making a point to pickk up the straw wrappers (Which get ignored so often at other places). I ordered spicy tuna withe avacado and a chef's special roll. Both were delicious. The restaurant sits on the fringe of Wolf Ranch (Near Sportsclips). The prices were very reasonable, especially in the 2024 economy. Even the unsweetened tea was fresh and delicious. Service, food, environment. This place checks all those marks!"
