"This is our Chinese lunch spot. The service is efficient and fast. They aren't the greatest on refilling your drinks or checking on you bit the courses come out pretty quick so if you need something you can ask. I like their sesame chicken and their egg rolls. Nothing special about their interior. They have a lot of seating and a big to go area."
"If you're on the hunt for the most delicious bao buns in town, look no further than Bao'd Up. This place is an absolute gem, and it completely blew me away with its flavor-packed offerings. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the decor is cool. They have touch screens or a cashier to place your order. Now, let's talk about the bao buns. Each one was a masterpiece of soft, pillowy perfection, filled with the most savory, succulent ingredients. The brisket bao was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, I also tried their crispy chicken taco (on an open flat bao) with shredded cabbage & some super good sauce. Not sure the name. It had just the right amount of kick & was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I got a meal that came with Szechuan fries & a delicious milk tea. You have the option to add boba or other flavors. What really sets Bao'd up apart is the attention to detail. The buns were steamed to perfection, the fillings were generously portioned, and the flavors were spot-on. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients, and the result is a bao experience that's hard to beat. The pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Whether you're a bao enthusiast or trying them for the first time, you won't be disappointed.Do yourself a favor and make a stop at Bao Paradise. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!"

"Where to start! I lived in Austin for 12 years before moving back to the Midwest, and I had never been to Sunflower!? I was working with a client who told me it was where she and her family were going to go get dinner, and I immediately order takeout that evening! The food is absolutely incredible, the staff is incredibly kind, and when you walk in, it feels like home! I am back in Austin every couple of weeks and will definitely be making my way back here! So many thank you's to the staff for sharing your beautiful food and space with us!"
"I have been coming here since I was a student at Southwestern! I really love the flavor of the dishes as well as the generous portion sizes. I'm glad to see they're doing well - they recently added booths, expanding the seating inside. Jaiwai is an essential when visiting Georgetown and adds variety to the square!"
"I loved Dim Sum brunch at this beautiful restaurant. While I do miss the traditional carts, the beautiful decor and excellent service made up for tradition. This is a bit fancier than I'm used to for dim sum, so it was perfect for a special occasion. The separate dining rooms provide privacy that our party appreciated. My favorite dishes were: the egg custard (creamy & flakey but not greasy), the soup dumplings, shrimp bar gaw, bbq pork bao, scallion pancake with curry, shrimp and pork shumai, and pineapple cakes. I was less enthusiastic about the sticky rice (I missed the leaves & lacked flavor), baked bbq pork buns (too sweet for me), and pecan shrimp (to mayonnaisey) I highly recommend the jasmine tea, and all the cocktails looked fabulous! Can't wait to return!"
"Really good Chinese food. My go to place for Chinese food in Austin. Can get really busy though at dinner time. Duck is okay."
"Wow. Husband and I tried this place on a whim when we wanted to try something new and was in the area. Got there around 6ish, small 10 min wait. When we left? Like an hour wait. Glad we got there early!I'm a vegetarian, and they only have one vegetarian option but holy MOLY is it delicious. Fried tofu, egg, spinach, onions, peppers, and spinach noodles. It was SO good. Got it with a side of edamame and a hot chocolate (cuz it was cold outside). Everything was delicious! Husband got their most popular ramen. I can't remember the name but it's the first ramen listed in the menu. I can see why this place is so popular. Can definitely see myself returning!"
"I've had Xiao Long Bao in Guangzhou, NYC, LA, SF, Chicago, and Trader Joe's. And these rank above the Trader Joe's. They were decent enough, but nothing to write home about. Big issues were: no chili or any spicy was available. No soy or other sauce options like most anywhere else. Just ginger and vinegar. You'll see there's a soy sauce thing but that's as for the pork. Also the soup spoon was super small, so they couldn't properly hold the liquid from them. Only 1 type (pork)Xiao Long Bao: 3.5/5Pork cutlet: 1.5/5. - yo wtf was this. Too thin. Dry. They have me ketchup?? In the picture on the QR code you order from shows a sweet chili looking sauce and lettuce etc.. kinds like Japanese pork katsu, but this was just bad. Iced fruit Tea: 5/5"
"Came Christmas Eve because they were one of a select few places that were open in the area and I was craving some Vietnamese food.Came in and told them I wanted ordered to go so they gave me a menu and I ordered the grilled pork rice dish. They said it would be 15ish minutes so I said I would be back as I walked around the Chinatown plaza.Food was ready when I got back and the food was delicious and lots of it too! Will definitely be back as they have an extensive menu."
"The food is always magnificent! I ordered Tekka last time and I always get the veggie dumplings which are delicious !The service is always good. The ambience is pleasant (it's always busy) and the location is center of Domain. Great place!"
"Love the ambience one person meal, maybe two makes you feel good in your belly the sandwich inside soup is great I eat here a lot so I really didn't have time to take a picture of the sandwich but it was good. I wish I had TV though"
"We decided to come here for lunch at noon on a Tuesday based on many of the good reviews. There were only three customers in the place, but they do a lot of to go business. Upon entry, we are surprised how dimly lit the place was and the fact that ceiling fans make up for the lack of AC. The ambiance consists of a modest dining room with Asian music playing loudly overhead. We were handed their lunch menus, which includes soup, egg roll, and the main course. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I've had. The main course portions were a little less than I expected, but nonetheless prepared fresh, hot and worth the money. As for drink offerings, all they have is water and canned drinks, no alcoholic beverages. Lunch for two people including tip was under $30. The dessert option consists of a fortune cookie. Definitely a great spot for lunch."

I remember when Chinese food was a treat. Prepared with care and exotic. I guess those days long gone. At first I ordered a coke. It wasn't a coke, not Pepsi either. Some weird, sweet, carbonated something. I'll have jasmine tea instead. The wonton soup was heinous. I am guessing they dropped a single wonton from the fridge into hot broth. The wonton was chewy and undercooked, and the whole thing was tepid. The eggroll was ok but clearly not house made. My entree was sweet and sour shrimp. I would guess the shrimp is precooked frozen shrimp, then battered and fried within and inch of its life. So the shrimp was tough and rubbery. The bell pepper and onion tossed in were barely cooked at all. The freshest thing on the menu - crunchy. The whole experience was really a disappointment. And I got indigestion.

Every time I've been to a Bao'd up I've left happy and here was no exception! This has to be the cutest one I've seen so far however! Everything was so clean and the food was delicious as always! The Szechuan fries were so good as always, they were nice and hot and the sauce was so good. Absolutely worth stopping by again when I'm out here

Sunflower Vietnamese is an absolute gem in Austin! It's rare to find a restaurant in Texas that serves banh xeo, and even rarer to find one that does it as perfectly as they do here. The banh xeo is a masterpiece--crispy, golden, and loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Every bite had the perfect balance of crunch and freshness, and the portion size was impressively generous. You could taste the care in how it was prepared, with high-quality ingredients and authentic techniques.Beyond the food, the service was welcoming, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. If you're looking for a place that nails traditional Vietnamese dishes, especially banh xeo, look no further. Sunflower Vietnamese is a must-visit for anyone craving fresh, authentic flavors!

One of the best Thai food. Came here with Vegan Jain Friend, and for a change I also tried Vegan way and it was really good. We went their for dinner and ordered Fried Tofu, Spring Roll, Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Red Curry., and every single item was perfectly cooked.I highly recommend this place. And no I am not vegan, next time will try their meat options and will share my review. :)#vegan #Jain #noIamnotvegan :)

We celebrated Chinese New Year for dinner at this festive delicious restaurant. The Dim Sum Shrimp Har Gow & Ling's Soup Dumpling rock the house. The Mei Choy Pork Belly is out of this world & no knife required. Ate my tasty greens with the Baby Gai with Shiitake Mushrooms. The dessert sherbet Cat was just awesome in details that my daughter enjoyed. The Opera Cake hit the spot for me with its delicate balance of ingredients. Well worth the premium price for the fine dining experience.

Wow this was awesome. My wife and I were looking for something hot to eat considering it was really cold outside, and we eventually decided on ramen. We haven't really had that many great experiences with ramen restaurants in the past, but this one was great! The servers were really nice, the wait time wasn't too bad either since it doesn't take a long time to get seated, eat, and then be on your way.Speaking of, our food came out really fast. Like really fast. Normally that's not good for a restaurant, considering it could have probably been in the microwave for some time, but for here that wasn't the case. I was surprised when everything came out so quickly and tasted hot, flavorful and fantastic.By the way, if you get the vegetarian option, your ramen will be full to the brim.I can't give it justice for how great the food was here, so I'd just go and experience it for yourself.

What a great new spot in the triangle! We actually visited the area for another restaurant and ended up seeing this one and walking in. It's a very small restaurant so I'm sure at times there's a wait. Everything we tried was delicious. Highlights for us were the steamed egg with ground pork, the XIAO Long Bao, and the stir fried chicken noodle. So so good!! Service was incredibly quick and attentive. We'll definitely be back when in the area.

"I came here twice. The food is amazing (I always get the rice with the honey walnut shrimps and the cheeseburger dumplings)! The place is really cute, especially the patio outside that has an amazing atmosphere at night! The only thing, I would probably make the portions slightly bigger, but it's not a big problem."
"This place was damn good and very affordable too! Really was not expecting this quality for the price. But then again when I walked in it was packed full with Asian aunties + uncles so that's prob how u kno it's already gonna be goodI was told by my friend that the suan tsai was interesting (it's kind of a soury pickly flavor) so I decided to try it. The beef that came w it was so deliciously fatty and thinly sliced. I was seriously having the time of my life when I was eating it but maybe I was just hungry lolThe xiaolongbaos hit the spot too!"
"I LOVE this place, my whole family does. They have one of the best wonton noodle soups in town with reasonable price and quick service. We order takeout and it was super fast, they can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. A tip is, it's cheaper to call in and buy the roasted meat by weight rather than ordering a meal. We usually order their char siu and roasted duck separately, then eat with anything we like at home."
"We had a delightful, quiet Monday evening at King noodle. The service was excellent, friendly, and quick. I had the P1 eye round steak pho which was wonderful! This will be my new place for pho! BF had B3 vermicelli charbroiled pork and he loved it! We also shared an order of pork egg rolls which came with sweet & sour sauce. They were fresh & delicious. Happily they are also close to our house and we will be back soon!"
"On a Friday, I arrived around 5 PM, and there was no line. The service was nice and timely.P08. Eye Round Steak, Flank, Meatballs - $15 (4.5/5)The portion is generous, and the soup is light yet flavorful. For pho, you can upgrade to a large for an additional $2.50.A02. Shrimp Spring Rolls - $6 (3/5)There's a good amount of shrimp, and the peanut sauce is sweet and well-balanced. I even dipped my eye round steak in it, and it tasted great! However, the rice paper was a bit hard. This is my second time ordering it, and both times, the rice paper was tough. This place is bright and clean. It's a super popular pho spot, and there can be a line during peak hours on weekends."
"We came on a Friday evening around 8 PM--wasn't super busy. The space is smaller, but my party of five still sat comfortably. Would love to have given this restaurant five stars, however the service here was not very good. We were seated very quickly, but our table was not approached for almost ten minutes. Aside from our food being brought to us, we did not receive any attention whatsoever by a server--no one to ask us how we were enjoying our meal, no one to pick up our empty dishes to clear out the table, etc. it was very disappointing. The plus side was the food was wonderful. I had an Alaska Roll and the Tonkatsu Ramen. I loved both of my dishes. They tasted fresh, the pork in my ramen was so tender and the broth was so flavorful. I highly recommend it. The restaurant's all-day Happy Hour items are great--there are a variety of different sushi rolls listed at a very cheap price. Would definitely be back for the food, and hopefully those serving will be more attentive during the meal rather than just when we're getting ready to cash out."
"Delicious authentic food! Mom was super sweet and helpful with her spice level recommendation. We ended up getting the Orange Chicken and Beef & Broccoli to go and were incredibly happy with both! The food was very flavorful and not oily or soggy at all even after driving home for about 15 minutes. We will definitely become regulars here! If you wanted to eat at the location, the food truck has a couple tables in the back which are covered for rainy, windy, or extremely sunny weather. There are lots of parking spots available as well."
"This place is new and seems to be pretty popular! I see why. I've tried several dishes from them and each one was delicious! The prices are amazing too, I haven't seen anything over $15! Lunch specials start out at 8 bucks! The salt and pepper wings are a hit!! Wow they really nailed it, I dream about those wings lol! They've got a huge menu of traditional and chefs special dishes so there's something for everyone here! The serving sizes are plentiful too. Give em a try, you won't be disappointed!"
"We really enjoy eating here. The soup dumplings are phenomenal--very favorable and soft. The flavor is always spot on.Also, the steam buns are always filled well and very tasty. Service has been great. The servers are attentive, polite, and informative about the menu."
"I wanted to try a different type of Pho and tried most, but this by far wins the closest Pho that I have had. It has incredible flavorful succulent dishes. I wanted to seat outside which was a nice evening. So the waiter was nice and friendly and enjoyed sitting in the Patio. The coconut shrimp was not the package frozen that most restaurants have this was actually cooked very well by the chef. I was pleasantly surprised by the crispy light and tasty. The service could have been better since they forgot my silverware but was corrected immediately. For my surprise they do not have a liquor license so bring your own bottle is permitted. I did visit four months ago and they told me they are working on getting a liquor license soon. But still haven't happened.food is plentiful and definitely highly recommend this location. Parking easy handicapped parking very close to door. I will be returning for trying new dishes with photos so all can view! Happy yelping!"
"If you follow Texas BBQ you will see that this is the most inexpensive way to have a dino rib. The beef rib pho is heaven on earth and the meat portion is huge (see pics). The bao bun sliders and vegan egg rolls were a delicious addition to our meal. I was super impressed with the pho. That beef rib was tender and delicious. The service was freindly and efficient and the food was very delicious. I love this area and there are many decent restaurants to enjoy. I would definitely return."
"Food : 4.5/5Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: we were the only ones in the restaurant as we reached there towards closing time on Monday. So had basically entire restaurant for ourselves. Service 100% nice Food quality good.Ordered came as expected with server asking us heat level for the curry so that was nice.Overall, recommended for a quick and cozy dinner place"
"I came here for my birthday with my family. We got there at happy hour, so we ordered apps and drinks. I had been to other Xian locations, but this was our first time at the University restaurant. I was so happy to hear they opened up nearby! Rocky shrimp is one of my favorite appetizers. We also got potstickers and crispy rice with spicy kani. My husband was happy they had some Pinthouse beer and I got a Saketini. My son devoured all the potstickers. We all loved the crispy rice. I loved the texture and the flavors. For dinner, my son, dad, and I got the Ramen. The portions were generous, and the broth was flavorful. It seemed a bit saltier than I would have liked, but it was not a deal breaker. My husband got the Mongolian Beef. My mom ordered a shrimp tempura roll, and I got a spicy tuna roll. We all enjoyed our food and were so stuffed after. Our server was laid back, friendly, and attentive. The place had a modern, sleek vibe. It wasn't too busy when we were there, so it was to have an intimate dinner with a few people around. It was Thursday, and we were there at 5:30, and it was pretty cold that day. We enjoyed this place, and I'm glad that it's close by. We will be back for more happy hours."
"I am very picky over any Asian food. I was very scared after reading a few bad rewards but i decided to give this place a shot anyway. I was actually impressed and loved it. The beef Dan Dan noodles was very flavorful and pasta was al dente which i prefer. The crab Rangoon or whatever they call it there was fantastic. But in the end, my favorite was the sauces at the table. I have never known that Chinese vinegar is different than our household vinegar (which i don't like much) every table and a bottle and it got drenched on all my food, not that it needed it. I was sat at table very fast and he even asked which I'd prefer to sit in. Also was very friendly staff. I will 100% be returning as well as using Grubhub for more!!!"
"I love that they have pictures of what each dish looks like. Especially if you are not familiar with this type of food. I was also very surprised how quickly the food came out. I had the eggrolls and the chicken pho soup. Both were delicious and very filling. It is community style seating in some areas and tables and others. So you get to choose depending on the time a day you go what kind of seating you want. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you're in this neighborhood to try it out."
"Mine & the hubby's go to place (I literally fly here to RYW airport) for THE BEST House Special Beef. Carole & her hubby, John, do an amazing job serving their customers needs & cooking with a passion to please! Leather, the attentive waitress does an incredible job keeping your drinks topped off & ensuring you are well cared for as well. The ambiance is relaxing & the restaurant is very clean. If you enjoy amazingly flavorful & perfectly made Chinese food, with an attentive wait staff, don't walk, RUN (or fly) here! Btw, the sauces are all house made. No fake bottled immatations here- just pure & good homemade recipes all done by John."
"What a great place! I got take out beef noodle soup and the amount of noodles, chunks of tender beef, and broccoli you get is very very generous. Favor is well balanced and authentic tasting. Parking is alittle tight but I'm coming back the next time I'm in San Marcos."
"Amazing food, great price, quick service, cool spot.Definitely recommend!Cant go wrong with anything on the menu so go crazy."
"Thai Spoon has been one of my favorite Pad Thai spots for a few years now. I have actually not tried anything other than their Pad Thai and mango with sticky rice. The mango with sticky rice is delicious every single time and up until the last few visits their Pad Thai has been off the chain. Unfortunately, the spice level has not been delivering the proper heat. I always order the Thai hot spice level and I even top it off with a little Sriracha. When I received my first wimpy spiced noodles, I thought maybe it was just an ordering mistake but it's happened about three times now. I'm not sure what's changed, but because of this it just is not my favorite spot anymore."
"I visited Wu Chow for the 5-6 PM Happy Hour, and I'll definitely be back! Alejandro, the bartender, was fantastic--he even surprised me with a cute and yummy cocktail for my birthday, which truly made my day. I also tried the vegetable fried rice and chicken dumplings, and both were absolutely phenomenal."
"I was here with my team for lunch. Ambiance and ServiceI reserved table for 11 people two days in advance, and table was ready within 5 mins when we reached. It was very cold in the restaurant but on our request they adjusted temperature. Food:Here I only posted three pics as I said it was a team lunch. :PBut we tried multiple appetizers. My friend suggested their ramen. I ordered creamy veg ramen with shrimps. Everybody liked the food. Overall it was a good experience. They missed one of the item I ordered. But sometimes it happens when u have a large group. I'll definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit again to try their sushi rolls, and drinks."
"Best value noodles in this location. One order feeds two! A lot of the other items in the food court break over the $20 mark but at 11.99, this is nice for the wallet."
"We visited this nice neighborhood Thai place in Oak Hill on a quiet weekday evening. We ordered a panang curry with vegetables and a large bowl of tom kha soup with vegetables. The tom kha was great, it had a good tangy flavor and it carried the meal for me. The curry was a bit less of a hit from my perspective. I wished it was more creamy with more coconut milk; it was a tad thin. The seating was wooden benches which were not quite comfortable. The cushions which were a decent attempt at padding the benches kept sliding. Service was friendly but slow; we had to ask a couple of times to get warm water. Due to proximity we'll probably visit again."
