Erich L. "Good local ice cream shop that's very popular. Definitely try the Mexican vanilla or anything that has the Mexican vanilla, which is one of the specialties. Very friendly service but a little slow in getting through the line. I tried the Belgian chocolate too it was good."

Beverly M. "The scoops are so large, especially after being mashed and blended, that any hope of eating out of a cone is dashed, so order your cone plus a cup. Loving the chocolate orange flavor, but I gilded the lily yesterday when I added hot fudge. I miss the funky photo booth. But I still love Amy's very very much. And the servers always brighten my day."

Maisha R. "It was scorching hot in Austin and we spotted Jim-Jim on yelp when we searching for a cool treat. The place is a small stand that seemed quite popular. Despite the size of the shop, they had lots of flavors for the water ice and homemade ice cream.Honestly I was torn about what to get. I really wanted to try the ice cream but also I want the water ice and I knew I could not eat both. So, since I had ice cream earlier in the day, I went with the water ice. I was definitely not disappointed! The flavors were sweet but not cloyingly so. The ice was packed well, the cup made it easy to eat, and the small size was just enough. This was a perfect way to cool off as we walked back to our hotel. All five of us were very pleased with our choices!"

Sean C. "I'm always in search of a Corn In A Cup (Elote). I grew up in Laredo and there's a place called Mr. Corn down there that is the gold standard. So... saw this place and our group decided to try it out. We did get the Elote... but it was not up to par for my taste (corn was not flavorful and the proportions were off) so I'll concentrate on what I felt they did well. Their Magonada was good. It's Mango fruit ice and not chunks of mango, but the flavor was there. The Chamoy and Chamoy straw make it even better. My kid and I split a banana split and that was good. Got a fresh banana, got coconut, butter pecan and vanilla ice cream and 3 cherries on top. They've got an assortment of other delicious concoctions and if you're into delicious and messy snacks and desserts with a south of the border flair. Stop in. The line moves quickly and the prices are fair. Most take it to go, but there are a few picnic tables out front."

Vanessa P. "I think Amy's is a solid Austin staple being from this city. I'll give 4 stars. A little taken aback this experience unfortunately. My son turned 20 and wanted an ice cream cake. There are other options for a pickup ice cream cake but decided to get it from Amy's for various reasons and order the cake. On site I noticed you can add some writing. So on the cake for an additional request I said add " Happy Birthday ..." Three days went by and went to pick it up. Was told they aren't trained to write on cakes so you can only preorder cakes they have in stock premade. No birthday anything. A phone call in advance would have been nice or more clarification on the website. I already had paid on the website and tipped for them to do that for me. I assume since they aren't trained to write on a cake that they probably don't make them either, so wish I would have known in advance, but It was just what it was when I picked it up and I just left with the cake. Good cake but some advance notice of some sort would have been nice for the customer."

Valerie W. "We walked over after lunch to check out the seasonal flavors. The ice cream server (is there a better name for this?) was friendly and let us sample a few flavors. I usually hate samplers, but there was nobody in line so I indulged. There was a large selection and you could watch them make the waffle bowls. 100% recommend the waffle bowl. The shop was cute and clean, we opted to sit outside by the park."

Ellen D. "A super fun place to shop for sweets!First, they have a coffee bar available as a walk-up window. Right inside the door, there are homemade candies and fudge. I tried two of their bonbons, and they were fabulous. They've got some ice cream scoops too!Now in the shop itself, I found really unusual items. There are Bob Ross items, an entire line of Pez dispensers, bulk candy by the pound, and what I brought home were the candy necklaces and bracelets from my childhood. The store is a lot of fun to shop, and I ended up going twice, because I wasn't satisfied I completely looked at their entire inventory:)!"

I love their classic vanilla with strawberries (a summer fave) or current flavor of the moment - Mocha Heath: silky smooth milk chocolate with crunchy toffee yums. Also greatly appreciative of their support of local non-profits, especially Integral Care this month - scoops for mental health, get you some goodness!"

Veronica Y. "Came specifically because we were craving strawberries with cream. The crema was delicious with berry clearly mixed in, and the strawberries were great too, even though I don't think we are in strawberry season. Got the large and it was indeed extremely filling. Next time must try the other fruit option too because they all look spectacular. The savory food was a big pleasant surprise as we didn't come initially for the savory dishes. The tacos were massive and they were very generous on the meat. The burrito was also huge, served grilled and hot with oozy cheese. They definitely don't cut corners here. Meat itself was also above average, although not as good compared to placed that specialise in only doing a couple types of meat. It's a new all-in-one stop for me!"

The fact that it's woman-owned and operated adds an extra layer of charm and empowerment to the experience. The ambiance is simply adorable--think Instagram-worthy walls and cute signage. Plus, they offer pup cups for our fur babies, which is such a thoughtful touch. For all the Swifties out there, you'll love the playlist filled with Taylor Swift hits, adding to the already vibrant and happy atmosphere. Steve W. "This place is located on southbound feeder of I 35 and the parking lot is in the rear. On entering, you'll be faced with their menus on the wall and three kiosks from which to order. These kiosks do take a little while to figure out and they don't print out a receipt. They only take credit cards at the kiosks. It's also problematic if you're trying to put three or four people on your tab. A Double smash burger with cheese, bacon, regular fries and a shake can easily run you over $20 without the tip or tax (yes there's a tip screen for placing your own order). The burgers are pretty reasonable for what you pay for, however, I would definitely skip their chicken nuggets as they are a terrible skimpy value. The crinkle fries are better than I was expecting, but skip the cheese on them. Lots of seating inside and outside , plenty of parking and very clean modern bathrooms. Burgers ****, shakes ****, chicken nuggets *, ordering**, facilities****. Value ***1/2"

The ice cream was so creamy too.The staff was all so friendly and I love that you can see everything they're doing. All together the staff has treated me well they are very friendly and the place is enormous compared to other Michoacanas .
