"Came specifically because we were craving strawberries with cream. The crema was delicious with berry clearly mixed in, and the strawberries were great too, even though I don't think we are in strawberry season. Got the large and it was indeed extremely filling. Next time must try the other fruit option too because they all look spectacular. The savory food was a big pleasant surprise as we didn't come initially for the savory dishes. The tacos were massive and they were very generous on the meat. The burrito was also huge, served grilled and hot with oozy cheese. They definitely don't cut corners here. Meat itself was also above average, although not as good compared to placed that specialise in only doing a couple types of meat. It's a new all-in-one stop for me!"
"A super fun place to shop for sweets!First, they have a coffee bar available as a walk-up window. Right inside the door, there are homemade candies and fudge. I tried two of their bonbons, and they were fabulous. They've got some ice cream scoops too!Now in the shop itself, I found really unusual items. There are Bob Ross items, an entire line of Pez dispensers, bulk candy by the pound, and what I brought home were the candy necklaces and bracelets from my childhood. The store is a lot of fun to shop, and I ended up going twice, because I wasn't satisfied I completely looked at their entire inventory:)!"
"I don't know about these high ratings... Omg Squee was OK for me, nothing for me to rave about...I reckon this place only got a lot of press for a connection with some reality TV show. Living in the SF Bay Area, we have plenty of similar venues. While I liked the items I got, nothing here stood out for me. To begin, Omg Squee is well off the beaten path. It's in the middle of nowhere, you need to make a journey here. Parking it tough; not a lot of spaces in front of the store, very challenging if this place gets busy. The inside is tiny, there is no room to sit. Place your order and sit / wait outside or grab it and go. There is a limited amount of seating outside. However you need to contend with the weather, extreme heat / cold etc. and lets not forget the flies. They want to come say Hi...all of them, one by one. Omg Squee doesn't give soft serve samples! Ummm...yeah; No soft serve samples...umm wha?! The reasoning was the way the machine works, it will dispense too much! rigghhttt. Yet here in the the Bay Area you can get samples from any similar venue like Somi Somi, Matcha Cafe Maiko or Uji Time.#SUGAR~ SOFT SERVE: - Earl Grey & Ube swirl - 3/5I couldn't sample the other flavors and the dispenser for the solo Earl Grey flavor was not working. So this was my choice. Both the flavors were weak, a bit too light for my liking. ~ MOCHI DONUTS: - Ube Oreo - 4/5 - Matcha - 4/5 - Coconut Pandan - 4/5The donuts were good, but at 3.95 a piece...ouch ~ MATCHA - MATCHA UBE MILK - 3.5/5This was good, a bit sweet, but goodI'd recommend stopping by if you are in the area, otherwise you aren't missing out in life.First and last visit, overrated for me."
"I'm always on the lookout for spots that offer not just great food and drinks but also an inviting ambiance and stellar service. Love Bubble Tea ticks all these boxes and more!Nestled on East 6th, this bubble tea and ice cream shop is a true gem. Their strawberry matcha boba has quickly become my go-to drink. Each sip is consistently delicious, a perfect blend of sweet strawberries and earthy matcha, with the ideal boba texture. What truly sets Love Bubble Tea apart is the incredible service. The owner is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet, always greeting customers with a smile and making everyone feel welcome. The fact that it's woman-owned and operated adds an extra layer of charm and empowerment to the experience. The ambiance is simply adorable--think Instagram-worthy walls and cute signage. Plus, they offer pup cups for our fur babies, which is such a thoughtful touch. For all the Swifties out there, you'll love the playlist filled with Taylor Swift hits, adding to the already vibrant and happy atmosphere. With street parking available, getting there is a breeze.Love Bubble Tea is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality ingredients, fantastic service, and a charming environment. It's a staple to my week and my favorite treat in Austin!"
"Oh. My. Goodness. What a treat. We drove all the way from San Antonio just to try this place based off everything we see on TikTok and we have 0 regrets. Sooo yummy.I was worried it would be too sweet but that wasn't the case. I got the Lost in Lotus and it was the perfect sugar cookie & cookie butter combo. The ice cream was so creamy too.The staff was all so friendly and I love that you can see everything they're doing. The guy behind the counter was very helpful.Inside is a little small so I was grateful it was warm enough to sit outside. This is a must-go every time I go to Austin now."
"LEGIT SHAVED HERE. Strawberry's and cream is amazing. Great service, outside and nice area to chill and enjoy shaved it. Lots of flavored to choose from!!! Enjoy."
"Cool experience to watch the ice cream being made, tastes amazing. Kids love the color changing spoons."
"I went to the one on Manor Road. The ice cream was delicious. My husband got a chocolate malt . He has never been asked how much malt he wanted. There is a shelf with used toys. A little boy was playing with green car . He was having a great time. On the whole the ice cream was wonderful."
"I don't come for anything but Mangoñadas and maybe ice cream therefore unless my kids tried something those are the only items I can say are awesome . I did see some elotes with yellow corn which I'm not a fan of but I mean the place is called Las Mongonadas not Super Elotes soo... All together the staff has treated me well they are very friendly and the place is enormous compared to other Michoacanas . I'm sure you'll find something you'll like even if your all about Authenticity don't come here acting like a Mexican snack Ambassador enjoying food is about different takes on things we all love ."
"Good local ice cream shop that's very popular. Definitely try the Mexican vanilla or anything that has the Mexican vanilla, which is one of the specialties. Very friendly service but a little slow in getting through the line. I tried the Belgian chocolate too it was good."
"Hello Dotty's and welcome to the Highland neighborhood! They serve up a wide range of delicious gelato with flavors like fresh mint and the infamous Dubai Chocolate. They also have frozen yogurt, coffee and fresh pastries like carrot cake with frosting."
"If you're vegan or not, there isn't a bad desert item from this menu.Cool and friendly staff too"

Cute candy shop, delicious treats, cheery staff, and vegan ice cream. This place really ticks all the boxes. There's a couple of seats outside that they keep clean. Otherwise it's a bit unassuming outside, then a brightly colored explosion when you walk in. I always take a minute to browse the shelves and displays. There's the usual mass produced candy available, but there's also fudge, chocolate truffles, and ice cream. I haven't bought any of the candy, but I know the ice cream is delicious. They have classic flavors like Rocky Road, and things off the beaten path, like Golden Milk. Don't be scared to ask for a sample to try the unique stuff. You can get your treat as a cone, a cup, or even an affogato. If coffee and sugar is your jam, I highly recommend it.

I finally had the chance to come by OMG SQUEE. I've seen images online of their mochi donuts and taiyaki so I was dying to eventually come by. It's quite a small store with exclusively outdoor seating. I was apprehensive about the vanilla chai originally since the taste of chai can be really strong at times but it was a mild chai taste. Be super careful when you near the "mouth" of the taiyaki- at that point it was hard to bite into the waffle without the soft serve dripping over my clothes. I chose custard as the filling which went really well with the soft serve flavors. From placing the order and getting my taiyaki, it was extremely fast since they just had to make the taiyaki and pipe in the soft serve. Was not disappointed and the value was great for what I got!

-Customizable sweetness level? Check!-Non-dairy milk? Check!-Slushee? Check!-Variety of toppings? Check!Checks all the way down, this place is an easy 5 stars. The cashier we ordered from was so kind and friendly. Very patient explaining all the flavors and options and seemed legit happy to have us as customers.Only downside was the interior of the shop smells strongly of incense. If that's not your thing while you have bubble tea, maybe get it to go.

I had this place saved on my to try list and it didn't disappoint! If you are looking for an evening/late night snack, this is the place for you. I stopped by on a Saturday night around 1 am and while it wasn't a line, the wait for the ice cream was about 10-15. Waiting inside was somewhat iffy. The tables & floor was pretty dirty. They didn't have napkins to clean the table so don't get too comfy.I tried the turtle, brownie topped with pecans & chocolate drizzle. It was enough for two people and we still didn't finish it.

Parking here at times could be a little limited but it's worth waiting for a spot to open up nonetheless. The snowballs here have hit the spot mostly every time as I've been here four times and maybe only once I didn't favor the flavor combo I concocted. I'm also pretty new to the snowcone world so I'm learning what I love and what I don't. The staff here is always a hit as they're all in a great mood, even helped me out once and put my phone on one of their chargers so I could use my GPS to get back home. Overall, I really love this place and seeing everyone leave happily with their snowballs. Can even tell they're pretty big to their neighbors as well considering on my way there I'd see little kids eating them on their bikes and skateboards, haha. Highly recommend!

Tried this for the first time and was a cool experience... the experience was made even better bc the staff were very friendly. The ice cream does take a few minutes to make bc it's made by hand and to your custom order. Give it a try!

In town visiting the area for my wife's birthday... Had to stop by this phenomenal ice cream spot! The staff makes the experience super awesome...the ice cream makes the experience awesome!!! Wow the place had some decadent ice cream. I had the Mexican vanilla with a crush in of gummy bears and waffle cone. I had a tiny size which was just what I was craving. I wanted to take a pint to-go however I wasn't heading back to the hotel. The friendly staff offered up samples and explained what was in each flavor I inquired about. If you get to Austin, Texas or wherever else Amy's Ice is offered...you definitely eat it. You can thank me later. I was very pleased with the atmosphere and the service. The product has me wanting to visit more often. Thank you for the hospitality!Put a location in OKC!?Respectfully,Bryan

"Elofrut was conveniently located outside the H‑E‑B on 7th and ya girl has been craving elote for awhile. I got the small elote and it came with the Mayo & cheese automatically. They had two sauces, one that was more tangy and the other that packed a lot of heat.I put both haha and man was it good. They had a lot of other menu items as well (that I will try next time)The owners were very kind and helpful. I def found my new fav local elote spot"
"My pregnancy cravings led me to find this place while we were in town for a couple of days. They offer a large variety of frozen yogurt flavors as well as toppings. More than most of the other frozen yogurt chains I've been to in the past. The staff made sure to always replenish the toppings bar and clean in between customers. If I'm ever back in Austin, I'd definitely go out of my way to come back here again."
"Austin's OG for scoops with style, keeping it orthodox or with extra goodies mixed in. I love their classic vanilla with strawberries (a summer fave) or current flavor of the moment - Mocha Heath: silky smooth milk chocolate with crunchy toffee yums. Also greatly appreciative of their support of local non-profits, especially Integral Care this month - scoops for mental health, get you some goodness!"
"The scoops are so large, especially after being mashed and blended, that any hope of eating out of a cone is dashed, so order your cone plus a cup. Loving the chocolate orange flavor, but I gilded the lily yesterday when I added hot fudge. I miss the funky photo booth. But I still love Amy's very very much. And the servers always brighten my day."
"I think Amy's is a solid Austin staple being from this city. I'll give 4 stars. A little taken aback this experience unfortunately. My son turned 20 and wanted an ice cream cake. There are other options for a pickup ice cream cake but decided to get it from Amy's for various reasons and order the cake. On site I noticed you can add some writing. So on the cake for an additional request I said add " Happy Birthday ..." Three days went by and went to pick it up. Was told they aren't trained to write on cakes so you can only preorder cakes they have in stock premade. No birthday anything. A phone call in advance would have been nice or more clarification on the website. I already had paid on the website and tipped for them to do that for me. I assume since they aren't trained to write on a cake that they probably don't make them either, so wish I would have known in advance, but It was just what it was when I picked it up and I just left with the cake. Good cake but some advance notice of some sort would have been nice for the customer."
"Great little dessert stop! I had a chocolate chip cookie with a Tiny scoop of the Vanilla Caramel Crunch for $7.58. The cookie was still crispy on the outside, warm gooey inside and the ice cream was delicious. The serving was enough for 2 people to hit the spot, or 1 person with a sweet tooth like me."
"Ordered their pepperoni when I went to the tailgate this afternoon. It was a great pizza. I would definitely go back. The right amount of sauce and toppings the crust done perfectly!"
"Gati is hands down the best ice cream spot in Austin! I was initially skeptical about coconut milk-based flavors because, in my past experiences, the coconut flavor tends to be overpowering. But here at Gati, it's perfectly subtle. I especially loved their Asian-inspired flavors like pandan and golden milk. This place has become a must-stop for me whenever I drive to Austin."
"My best friend has been raving about this place, so of course I had to try and... it exceeded my expectations! I ordered the Banana Pudding ice cream and Damn Good Chocolate. The banana pudding tastes exactly like your favorite banana pudding but in ice cream form. It was light and not overly sweet. I loved the added texture of the vanilla wafers. You essentially get either a chunk of vanilla wafers or fresh banana in every bite! The damn good chocolate might just be the best chocolate ice cream I've had in a hot minute. It's super rich and silky. Just as decadent as the menu describes.Overall, the ambience in this area is great. I didn't realize the ice cream truck was located in a food truck park. There were a lot of picnic tables where you could find a seat for a large group. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors."
"This place is located on southbound feeder of I 35 and the parking lot is in the rear. On entering, you'll be faced with their menus on the wall and three kiosks from which to order. These kiosks do take a little while to figure out and they don't print out a receipt. They only take credit cards at the kiosks. It's also problematic if you're trying to put three or four people on your tab. A Double smash burger with cheese, bacon, regular fries and a shake can easily run you over $20 without the tip or tax (yes there's a tip screen for placing your own order). The burgers are pretty reasonable for what you pay for, however, I would definitely skip their chicken nuggets as they are a terrible skimpy value. The crinkle fries are better than I was expecting, but skip the cheese on them. Lots of seating inside and outside , plenty of parking and very clean modern bathrooms. Burgers ****, shakes ****, chicken nuggets *, ordering**, facilities****. Value ***1/2"
"Best churros in Austin!!Lots of dipping sauce options with seasonal specials that are always delicious and so fun to try.It is a good truck but there is plenty of outdoor seating all the time and the staff are always incredibly friendly.I always try to visit when I get the chance!"
"Nice small snack place, it's right around the neighborhood so really convenient. The ice cream and snacks taste good! The workers are nice and help with sampling if you're not sure about the taste on certain flavors. I have been here several times before and keep coming back"
"Great little store, very welcoming and bright. Very very friendly and happy to share their passion with customers. The ice cream Is delicious and there's different flavors to choose from they even have exotic flavors like Margarita, whisky, and tequila. They also offer coffees, boba tea, some pastries, and teas. I highly recommend this spot and even better your supporting ah small business that has staff that's happy to serve and fill out sugar craves."
"Mangonada and frito pie tried today. Mangonado is not pureed like I was used to, very small chunks but still delicious. Great little spot and they have tons of other snack options. Definitely coming back!"
"It was scorching hot in Austin and we spotted Jim-Jim on yelp when we searching for a cool treat. The place is a small stand that seemed quite popular. Despite the size of the shop, they had lots of flavors for the water ice and homemade ice cream.Honestly I was torn about what to get. I really wanted to try the ice cream but also I want the water ice and I knew I could not eat both. So, since I had ice cream earlier in the day, I went with the water ice. I was definitely not disappointed! The flavors were sweet but not cloyingly so. The ice was packed well, the cup made it easy to eat, and the small size was just enough. This was a perfect way to cool off as we walked back to our hotel. All five of us were very pleased with our choices!"
"We walked over after lunch to check out the seasonal flavors. The ice cream server (is there a better name for this?) was friendly and let us sample a few flavors. I usually hate samplers, but there was nobody in line so I indulged. There was a large selection and you could watch them make the waffle bowls. 100% recommend the waffle bowl. The shop was cute and clean, we opted to sit outside by the park."
"THE BIG: Real fruit ice cream! Love how Zeds have that in their name. Located in East Austin, right off of airport and MLK. No indoor eating space, but plenty of outdoor seats. 5 parking spots and the rest is street parking.THE BLACK AND WHITE: We were feeling something sweet on a Friday evening and Zed's was literally on the way back home. I'm surprised we never ate here before. Regardless, it was delicious! Two windows, one to order, one to pick up. The second window you get to see them measure the fruit and use this specialized machine to mix the fruit with the ice cream. We got the blackberry on recommendation from the order taker and it HIT! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a normal scoop of ice cream was around $8. Very delicious and I highly recommend coming for some visually appealing fruit ice cream."
"Love their ice cream. It's my favorite vegan spot in town, with a perfect texture and delicious flavors. Some coconut ice creams give me and my partner an irritated throat but this one doesn't at all. Their plantain flavor is awesome! The others are good too but it's been a while. Anyway I'm writing this because I just wish they were open more!! Every time I want to come in the evening they're not open. Come here for the ice cream not the experience."
"The best soft serve ice cream in the area! They are a small location in partnership with Garbos. The device was great - we arrived right before closing and they quickly made our order.I ordered the black raspberry with chocolate sprinkles. It was the best! Tart, sweet and chocolatey. My husband ordered butter pecan but said mine was better. The sizes are HUGE. So keep this in mind. You may want to share. We will definitely be coming back this summer to try more flavors."
"Went here on my daughters recommendation. The Tortas are very good and the price is good. The sandwiches are full and layered. Bread is cooked just right. It was very filling."
"I'm always in search of a Corn In A Cup (Elote). I grew up in Laredo and there's a place called Mr. Corn down there that is the gold standard. So... saw this place and our group decided to try it out. We did get the Elote... but it was not up to par for my taste (corn was not flavorful and the proportions were off) so I'll concentrate on what I felt they did well. Their Magonada was good. It's Mango fruit ice and not chunks of mango, but the flavor was there. The Chamoy and Chamoy straw make it even better. My kid and I split a banana split and that was good. Got a fresh banana, got coconut, butter pecan and vanilla ice cream and 3 cherries on top. They've got an assortment of other delicious concoctions and if you're into delicious and messy snacks and desserts with a south of the border flair. Stop in. The line moves quickly and the prices are fair. Most take it to go, but there are a few picnic tables out front."
"I wish they would've updated the days they work. I went on a Saturday at 8 AM on September 21st and it was closed. I want to try their barbacoa"
"Sometimes you're just craving some everyday Mexican snacks (or maybe that's just me) and this little hole in the wall in East Austin comes in so clutch with its elotes and fresas with crema. My favorite is the elotes locos which is elotes with takis mixed in, simple but addicting. The staff is friendly and provides quick service."
