"My gosh these were SUCH a hit after a recent night out. Cinnamon sugar donuts with caramel AND chocolate dipping sauce was my choice, my friend got lemon-blueberry and we were both super happy to have a late night snack (plus leftovers for breakfast, a double win!)."
"My friend and I had dinner nearby and decided to get our dessert from The Salty Donut afterwards--great idea! We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and was greeted right away. I was pleasantly surprised they still had a good selection of donuts. The Salty Donut offers a fun variety of donuts such as horchata, Texas chocolate sheet cake, gingerbread french toast, and more. They also have a coffee bar. I opted for a mix of donut holes as well as a churro dulce de leche donut. I highly recommend getting a mix of the donut holes to try a variety. The churro dulce de leche donut was also fantastic. It had a creamy filling inside that was not overly sweet. The space is warm and inviting. There's ample seating if you prefer to enjoy your donuts and/or coffee inside!"
"My boyfriend and I were looking for a simple breakfast, and we decided to stop by S-H Donuts. He had been here for donuts before, but this was my first time. The parking lot was packed (S-H shares a lot with a barber shop, a coffee truck, and 2 food trucks), but we luckily snagged a spot just as someone was leaving. There were a few people ordering inside, which gave us time to look over the displays of food and the menu. My boyfriend ended up getting an apple fritter and a cinnamon roll (he said they were fantastic!) and I got a croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese (it was delicious!). The employees taking our order were very nice, and they worked quickly. There is also some booths inside if you want to sit and eat there, although we took everything to go. I look forward to coming back! Hopefully they'll have apple cider donuts in the fall!"
"You guys. The plain glazed are WILD, anything but plain- vanilla scented, risen to the gods, soft and cloud-like holy moly. The cake donut was yummy and not dry, the cinnamon roll was tasty too. Loved the sausage kolache in soft dough with a cheese sauce inside. The smell in the car as I was trying to get these home before tearing in was DIVINE. ALSO, and this is uncommon, this is a donut shop with delicious coffee! So many times it can be a trade off at other places, and I think they may roast the beans themselves. Huzzah team"
"This location was pretty damn good! I got a sausage cheese kolache 8.5/10Bavarian filled 10/10Plain glazed 4.5/10 (wasn't fresh and hot like usual)"

This place and the area it was in was so cute. I was visiting the Mexican restaurant across the street and the smell from the donut shack was enticing me. They were so delicious. Pistachio and lavender, what a combo! They were perfectly bite sized, flavorful and not greasy at all.

It's been a while since I've visited the Salty Donut. The last time I was at the Salty Donut it was pretty much a trailer where you picked up donuts through the "to go" window. It has evolved to a sir down restaurant with a cool modern vibe. Also the cost of the donuts have also expanded. Sometimes you get what you pay for. The cashier highlighted some of The Salty favorites. I tried two of their favorites... Churro & Dulce de Leche donut and assorted donut holes. Dulce de Leche donut was pure perfection...churros consistency on the exterior and dulce de Leche in the center. OMG...so good. The three types of donut holes were a delight to consume - vanilla brioche donut and two cake donuts...Oreo cake and vanilla glazed chocolate cake. Yummy to the nth degree. Important to note, these donuts did not taste greasy or overly sweet. Also the flavors of the donuts harmonized well together.I also had a latte initially. It was pretty strong so I added a caramel flavoring. The latte was smooth and so satisfying.Overall, my stop at The Salty made my day! Highly recommend The Salty donuts...

There's no donut experience like the real one. This place is classic and perfect. They are so friendly and have the best tasting donuts and kolaches. It feels just like it did when I was getting donuts with my dad when I was a kid. Gotta love a tried and true. You can eat here too, and it's a very clean setting. Good coffee to boot. I've actually done large orders for my kiddos school events and you can show up same day and get large amounts. Kids loved. Obviously.

We came here yesterday afternoon, to get a donut for an afternoon dessert instead of morning dessert. The inside of the store was clean and we were able to order right away, which was nice.Of the donuts we tried, my fiancé and I both liked the strawberry iced donut the best. I liked the plain cake next, while my fiancé preferred the lemon lavender next (I don't like lemon donuts but she does).Overall, their donuts were solid. We would come back here again!

Very good donuts and kolaches. I had a jalapeño and regular. Both sausage. The jalapeño was best. Also had an apple fritter. Not as good as southern Indiana but still good.

Don't be deterred by the name, this place is delicious. The donuts are fresh and kolaches tasty. Don't sleep on the breakfast croissants! The eggs are freshly made and they're less than $5. This is such a great weekend breakfast spot where the service is quick, staff are friendly, and the food is always good.

I came here with my daughter's on Thanksgiving day and they were open. The people serving us are super sweet and kind (and patient with my toddler). The place was clean. The donuts and kolaches were amazing, perfect cake donut and of course pink with sprinkles. My husband enjoyed the Boudin kolache as well. Definitely want to come back here and put this in our rotation.

"When I'm in need of a lite breakfast snack, Master Donuts never disappoints. I love their large croissant kolaches which I usually pair with a cinnamon roll or apple fritter. I could absolutely ruin myself with all of the choices to start off my day but I yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin however the delectable delights in this venue keep me returning again and again!"
"During our vacation to Austin, we came here in search of the famous "Hook 'em Horns" doughnut, but to no avail. Apparently, the donut shop stopped making them years ago, probably due to the lawsuit brought upon them by the University of Texas to cease using the longhorn image that they had trademarked. So what else does this small, modest donut shop have? Well, other donuts of course. When we arrived on a Monday morning at 11AM, there were still plenty of donuts left with most of the flavors still being produced. The donut shop was pretty quiet with just a few customers and a few tables for people to sit down at. We ended up ordering the maple bacon donut and a lavender donut along with some munchkins/donut holes. I know it's not really a great enough sample size to give my full opinion of the donut shop, but the donuts were solid. I can't say they were any more spectacular than my local donut shop though, but everything was good in an OK way."
"The place looks very clean with a plain and simple decor. It got busy after I arrived in the later morning; the staff was friendly and they handled the customer volume very well. The restroom was out of order, so when I needed it, I was S.O.L. (pun intended). I came only for a donut; I bought one and a coffee. The donut was fair, but nothing to write home about. The coffee was not good. They have a few standard bench tables where you can sit down to eat. They also sell some hot foods like kolaches. There are also two large drink coolers with a fairly large selection of beverages, including milk."
"First off, the set up is cool. Its a trailer but they have a ton of outdoor sitting/doughnut garden where you can sit and enjoy. These things are not doughnuts, they are doughcakes ! They freshly fry and make all the doughnuts to order, and these things can feed 12. I got the peanut butter and jelly doughnut, filed with grape jelly, peanut butter icing, and pb chips. We came here after eating a huge BBQ lunch, so I was in the mood for something sweet, and boy was it sweet. Even though it was sweet, the doughnut pastry holds up to all the toppings and fillings, and I really have never had anything like it. Everything is truly bigger in TX!"
