"I visited Phoebe's Diner for Sunday brunch before flying out of Austin. It was just a fifteen-minute walk from my hotel. I joined the Yelp Waitlist but when I arrived, I saw that the restaurant was packed with lots of people waiting outside. I was worried I would have to wait a while, but to my surprise, they were able to seat me at the bar right away. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I opted for the migas with side of fruit and side of avocado as well as an iced coffee (Café Du Monde Vietnamese). The migas comes with hatch chile hollandaise, scrambled eggs, onion, tomato, Hatch chiles, crispy masa cake, cotija cheese, and cilantro and served with crispy red potatoes... It was exactly what I was looking for! It was flavorful and very filling. I struggled to finish it, especially with my fruit and avocado which complemented the migas. The Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet and creamy. I don't usually indulge in sweet coffees so it was a little treat!Highly recommend checking out Phoebe's Diner if visiting Austin and also highly recommend joining the Yelp Waitlist ahead of time!"
"First time here with my partners. Absolutely enjoyed. Amazing blueberry hot cakes as well as the amazing migas, their salsa is to die for."

"Time and time again does The Omelettry deliver! I'm not sure why but I was craving a big bowl of wholesome oatmeal and this oatmeal was everything I needed. Perfect parts of buttery and sweet with hints of cinnamon. I ended up sitting at the bar because I was alone and the service was immediate. Shout out to Shiloh and Epiphany for their wonderful service and hospitality. I am always looking forward to my next visit :D"

So to have a burger of this quality close by is very welcome. The single bacon burger is also excellent.I also tried their club sandwich again, which I did not like during my first visit. I know it's hard to mess these up, but mine was not good the first time. On my 3rd visit I tried it again, and it ended up tasting fresh and looked appealing to the eye. It is not a huge sandwich, but with fries, it is perfect for lunch."
"Phoebe's Diner is an excellent spot for brunch in Austin! There's new dishes I've never had and classic dishes with a little bit of a twist.I ended up getting the nitro-chata - it was good but it was a smaller portion than what I'd pay for at a coffee shop. I also ordered the burrata omelette and a side of biscuits with the sage gravy. My husband ordered the migas and a side of buttermilk pancakes. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach because we didn't even finish half our food before we were stuffed and took home the leftovers (no regrets at all though) Everything we ordered was delicious, my favorites being the burrata omelette and pancakes! The biscuits tasted even better the next day as it soaked up all the gravy. Even though the wait was ~45 minutes, it was really convenient to put our name on the wait-list so we only waited a few minutes when we got to the restaurant in person. I'd def recommend Phoebes Diner to anyone who wants to have a delicious, hearty brunch!"

This was an unexpected delight for my family and I, we had a quick trip to Austin for the weekend and took a walk that lead to Aranza and the team at Phoebe's. The service Aranza gave was warm, welcoming and just comfortable all around. The food, WOW, that was unexpected fun and flavorful to say the least. I don't recall the last time I was so full from breakfast I had to try everyone's and they tried mine. The bevs were a nice touch too. The team reflected Aranza's initial zeal and smile can't wait to go back might have a special trip just to try lunch!

Food was decent even though gingerbread pancakes are extremely dry. The problem we had is the only person that was friendly was the lady who sat us at the table and got our drinks. The blonde waitress didn't even introduce herself and it took some time for her to take our order when we noticed others who sat down after and ordered. When paying at the register that young lady had absolutely no business being there... she didn't not speak a SINGLE WORD, not a smile, not a "kiss my ______". We have great food all over this city (lived here 40 years now) and I am certain I will not be back.

We recently moved to Manor in August, and since we've moved here we've been here 10-12 times! We come almost weekly. We've tried their veggie basket, shrimp, burger, po boys, onion rings, fries, chicken fried chicken and tenders... The list goes on! We love the place and everything we've had is a 10 outta 10! Except don't ask for chips w your order. We thought they were homemade but they're just bag of store bought chips. Everything else-PHENOMENAL!

Phoebe's dinner is a hidden gem. A friend and I decided to have lunch/brunch at the diner. Phoebe's is as the name implies a diner - warm & welcoming and a bit understated! Fortunately, we decided to meet at 11 am as shortly thereafter a plethora of diners flooded in. While there a good number of folks in the restaurant, the noise level was low making it very easy to converse.Gillian our server recommended the 4 most popular dishes based on our query. We decided to try the chicken biscuit, one of the four. My friend went with over easy eggs (as outlined in the menu) and I went with eggs whites (very easily accommodated at no additional cost.) OMG the chicken biscuit was a mountain of textures and flavors...all delightfully delicious!!! We also had a side of sage gravy and goat cheese grits. Every bite was uniquely flavored...an explosion of pleasure in your mouth!! We both agreed that we would return to try other dishes offered at the dinner.Run do not walk to Phoebe's diner!!!

Went to UT wish I knew about this place sooner! Super homey diner style cafe The server was really nice & made sure we had everything we needed. I got the counter benedict & it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was rich & creamy, paired well with the perfectly poached egg, pastrami, and biscuit. I swapped out the potatoes with the homemade sausage & it was amazing. Wish I would've gotten more sausage. Great quality food all around!

I have a deep, deep love of this place. If you're looking for diner food in Austin, this is the closest you're going to find in this wasteland of diner-less Texas. Pancakes are on-point and the staff is nice.

"If you're looking for an authentic old school diner experience this is the spot! I really love their French toast and my fiancee got The California Omlette which came with really good grits!Servers are really nice and attentive! Also can't beat the price, you're not going to get hit with a crazy bill for a "diner experience" like at some other places, names I won't mention."
"Great folks that work here waitresses are absolutely awesome super nice the food is excellent as well. I sometimes come here for coffee coffee is always amazing thanks y'all."
"This place is just homey and good. I was seated quickly and was greeted immediately. The food is affordable and just tastes good. We ordered the ultimate migas, French toast side, and corn beef hash. Everything was fresh, the food was seasoned, and I'll definitely be back here again."
"My husband and I first went to Cafe Java in Austin. When we moved north we were happy to know they have a location in Round Rock. We love this place. The wait can be lengthy, (all good things are worth the wait), the price cannot be beaten, service is fast once seated, and the food is always a hit. If you're looking for that slow Saturday morning, cozy vibe with the ones you love this is the place. No frills just great food, excellent coffee, and friendly, down to earth staff. Our go to order is... the chorizo miga platter and huevos rancheros. This last visit I got the Mexican latte and it was incredible."
