So to have a burger of this quality close by is very welcome. The single bacon burger is also excellent.I also tried their club sandwich again, which I did not like during my first visit. I know it's hard to mess these up, but mine was not good the first time. On my 3rd visit I tried it again, and it ended up tasting fresh and looked appealing to the eye. It is not a huge sandwich, but with fries, it is perfect for lunch."
"I had a hankering for chicken fried steak and I hoped that this place would hit the spot - and it did not disappoint! The diner is a bit unassuming, there is a gravel parking lot. As soon as we excited our vehicle, we were started by a lamb's bleat which was in the back of a truck in said parking lot so we had figured we were on the right track in our search. We beat the lunch rush at around 1 pm and we're seated promptly. Our food took some time to get to us but, goodness, it was worth it. The steak, the macaroni (get the white one), the mashed potatoes and even the roll was great. We also ordered some slices of pie to go. The chocolate cream pie was my fave but the coconut was also very tasty. If you're ever passing through, and in need of a good country lunch, this is the place to go!"

"Great food and service! Portions are large enough to share. Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly! Will definitely be coming back soon."
"I was in Yoakum visiting my mother, and she picked this place to try. Honestly, the food was mediocre but decent. The chicken fried steak must have been fried in the same grease as my mother's catfish. (My food had a fish taste to it.) Other than that, everything else was good. Thought the prices were a little high, but that's Bidenomics at work. Speaking of politics, I was very impressed with the restaurant's support of President Trump for President in 2024. Anyway, the service was just right. The only mix-up was not knowing to pay at the counter instead of at the table. I also enjoyed the indoor decor of the establishment. Very decorative for such a small-town business. Check Maggie's out!"
"This place is just homey and good. I was seated quickly and was greeted immediately. The food is affordable and just tastes good. We ordered the ultimate migas, French toast side, and corn beef hash. Everything was fresh, the food was seasoned, and I'll definitely be back here again."
"Fries were great! $5The egg sandwich was fine but it was $9 amd pretty small. English muffin was chewy instead of crispy or toastes."
"If you're looking for a fantastic burger joint with a relaxed vibe, JewBoy Burgers is the place to be!The service was quick and efficient, and the staff at the counter were super friendly and welcoming. I started with their crinkle fries, which were perfectly crispy and paired amazingly well with their tasty spicy ketchup--just the right kick! The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, cooked to perfection. I had the Oy Vay Guey burger-- had a great kick to it! What really surprised me was their smoky mayo--I'm usually not a mayo fan, but this stuff was next level. It was so good that I found myself dipping fries in it too!Overall, the laid-back atmosphere, great food, and excellent service make JewBoy Burgers a must-visit spot. Can't wait to go back!"
"Ling Kitchen has been on my list of restaurants that I want to try out since they opened up. My husband and I finally decided to make a reservation for a Saturday evening. When you arrive, they offer you a choice of complimentary champagne or hot tea. They do not offer wine pairing but they have a fairly extensive wine/sake menu. We also got to meet Ling. She was nice and I could tell she was really passionate about food.Although $150 might seem expensive for the meal but I can tell they spent a lot of time on the preparation and the presentation/decoration of every dish. My favorite dishes were the cantonese style steamed fish, peking duck, fried taro with crab, and the dumpling trip. We also enjoyed the "different" proteins like pig ear and duck tongue they served - ive never had them before and i loved how it was prepared.I thought it was pretty cool they allowed us to walk around the kitchen to observe and take pictures halfway through the meal. We also really liked the ambiance and the music they played. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and dining experience and I will definitely be back."
"I visited Phoebe's Diner for Sunday brunch before flying out of Austin. It was just a fifteen-minute walk from my hotel. I joined the Yelp Waitlist but when I arrived, I saw that the restaurant was packed with lots of people waiting outside. I was worried I would have to wait a while, but to my surprise, they were able to seat me at the bar right away. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I opted for the migas with side of fruit and side of avocado as well as an iced coffee (Café Du Monde Vietnamese). The migas comes with hatch chile hollandaise, scrambled eggs, onion, tomato, Hatch chiles, crispy masa cake, cotija cheese, and cilantro and served with crispy red potatoes... It was exactly what I was looking for! It was flavorful and very filling. I struggled to finish it, especially with my fruit and avocado which complemented the migas. The Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet and creamy. I don't usually indulge in sweet coffees so it was a little treat!Highly recommend checking out Phoebe's Diner if visiting Austin and also highly recommend joining the Yelp Waitlist ahead of time!"
"Good experience at this restaurant. We came to get some happy hour drinks. The menu wasn't really calling us. They did have special on happy hour appetizers too. The menu looks appealing for breakfast when it came to our tastebuds. Very famous people have graced the walls and eaten here: Selena, Beyoncé/Solange, Cold Stone Steve Austin and lots of others."

We recently moved to Manor in August, and since we've moved here we've been here 10-12 times! We come almost weekly. We've tried their veggie basket, shrimp, burger, po boys, onion rings, fries, chicken fried chicken and tenders... The list goes on! We love the place and everything we've had is a 10 outta 10! Except don't ask for chips w your order. We thought they were homemade but they're just bag of store bought chips. Everything else-PHENOMENAL!

Fantastic! Lovely staff and chef is hands on. Manning the station like a pro. Amazing vibe and great food. The steak and eggs is the bomb dot com! Espresso martini on tap is STRONG (perfection). Love this place and its aesthetic.

I have a deep, deep love of this place. If you're looking for diner food in Austin, this is the closest you're going to find in this wasteland of diner-less Texas. Pancakes are on-point and the staff is nice.

Our food was fantastic! The smash burgers were big and juicy. The chicken sandwich was crispy and hot and the slaw was great. Fries were hot and perfectly cooked. Really reasonable prices for generous portions. This is not my first or my last visit - they're our "go to" for food at Radio. Service was also excellent!

The patty was thick, hefty, and well-formed. It was clean tasting. Almost too clean. The smokey, charred flavor you might expect a nice burger to have was absent. But it was unmistakably beef. The yellow slice on top did not impart much flavor. Instead, the majority of the flavor came from the pickles! If you like pickled flavors, then Jewboy is for you. I don't mind pickles, but prominently sour vinegar flavors is not what I prefer. Just enough to accompany and cut through some richness would be fine.Anyways, Jewboy has other burger options, including those with pastrami, or with latkes. I didn't get a chance to try those for the first round. But I did try the onion rings. These hollow fried batter tori well fit with rings of onion. This was no flakey breadcrumb or panko texture, this was more smooth liquidy batter coating, fried. The tori were not particularly crispy. They did taste like onions.Ok, what about the latkes? Potato patties? They do offer burger variant with latkes inside. One was normal. I suppose it could utilize a bit more salt. The other had chili and queso inside. That one had more flavor, but still it wasn't punchy. It didn't scream chili, or cheese, or set my head on fire. But it definitely has the potential if they'd like to adjust their recipe to deliver more flavor. It tasted mostly of fried potato, with a hint of generic cheesiness and a slight warmth. On the other hand, their schmitz stuff is pretty addictive--it's their "smokey aioli dipping sauce". If you put this everything, everything tastes better. But of course, that is a property of the aioli itself. I kind of wish their food was as pungent as their aioli.Parking wise, expect a cramped lot; if you don't find a space, just leave your car on the street. And when inside, the pickup and ordering stations are separate and clearly marked. They are friendly and quick.

It's so much deeper than food. Ling Kitchen is a community experience where food connects perfect strangers to each other. Before we were even in the building, we were greeted warmly by someone from the staff who happened to be walking past us in the parking lot. It was then that we knew this was going to be an exceptional experience. We were escorted to a side room to sip tea, order drinks, and introduce ourselves to the other guests before dinner started. Cavione was the host with the very most and walked us through how our night would go. He let us know that the goal was for us all to know each other better by the end of the night and to feel satisfied and not like we needed to grab a cheeseburger afterward. He also made the amazing playlist that was playing all night --we couldn't sit still in our seats. Once it was time for dinner, we were taken into an area just off of the kitchen at a long stainless steel table. I loved how unpretentious the vibe was (even though we'd all paid an arm and a leg to sit there). Dinner was amazing! It didn't feel like your typical chef's tasting menu of frou frou food that takes itself too seriously where you're pretending to even know what the hell has been placed in front of you. No, this felt like the food that you'd have at a close friend's small dinner party. You could taste the love in each dish. These folks don't just love cooking, they love cooking for people and it shows. The dishes were fresh, well seasoned, diverse, and creative af. Between courses, we went around the table and shared tidbits about ourselves --where we're from, favorite restaurants and vacation spots, etc. And the cooks (including Chef Ling herself) also came around and chatted with each of us about their love for food, cooking, and community. We felt so welcomed and connected. Because connection is so important right now --when loneliness has been deemed an epidemic, we find it highly important that we prioritize community and connection and this was the ultimate example of that. Chef Ling and her staff are ahead of the curve and are making the world a more connected place one dinner service at a time. For that reason, they absolutely deserve a 5/5 connection rating (yes, I made up that metric but it's important!). Other ratings:Food - 5/5Ambiance - 5/5Service - 5/5

"My husband and I first went to Cafe Java in Austin. When we moved north we were happy to know they have a location in Round Rock. We love this place. The wait can be lengthy, (all good things are worth the wait), the price cannot be beaten, service is fast once seated, and the food is always a hit. If you're looking for that slow Saturday morning, cozy vibe with the ones you love this is the place. No frills just great food, excellent coffee, and friendly, down to earth staff. Our go to order is... the chorizo miga platter and huevos rancheros. This last visit I got the Mexican latte and it was incredible."
"Excellent greasy spoon, but updated to have some modern, healthy options! Their bottomless coffee excels in both quality and quantity (bottomless!!!). The pancakes are a heavy-hitter. I like the outdoor dining, but it can be a bit toasty in the sun and sometimes they have bees buzzing around. The service is well-staffed which makes wait-times shorter and the staff has lots of energy!"
"Great folks that work here waitresses are absolutely awesome super nice the food is excellent as well. I sometimes come here for coffee coffee is always amazing thanks y'all."
"Just a small town cafe. TomCat hanging outside the entrance.... Walk in, seat yourself. We were waited on within 5 minutes. Coffee refills often, but it wasn't the best or the hottest I've had, just basic coffee. I ordered a 1 egg plate with bacon, homemade toast and homefries. The homemaid bread was great, was not a fan of the potatoes. We all shared a giant pancake, it was good. Overall, basic breakfast. It was a little awkward and yet entertaining when the 2 waitresses had an argument about who was assigned to which tables."
"Time and time again does The Omelettry deliver! I'm not sure why but I was craving a big bowl of wholesome oatmeal and this oatmeal was everything I needed. Perfect parts of buttery and sweet with hints of cinnamon. I ended up sitting at the bar because I was alone and the service was immediate. Shout out to Shiloh and Epiphany for their wonderful service and hospitality. I am always looking forward to my next visit :D"
"I'm baaaack! LOL this time came in for lunch on a Friday at 11:30. Perfect timing because the tables were starting to fill up quickly. We were promptly seated and our order taken. This time I tried out the Buffalo Chicken Sliders with a side of Mac & Cheese. The sliders were so tasty and had a nice crunch to them too. The Mac & Cheese wasn't bad, but not my favorite. I'll probably try. A different side next time. Love the pairing with Bleu Cheese for dipping since that's usually my go to dip. Absolutely love that every time I come here when I ask for hot sauce they have a large variety. Cholula, Tabasco, Sriracha or Yellowbird Habanero. They have it all! My fav is the Habanero. Oh and also their whole breakfast, lunch and dinner menu is always available."
"First time here with my partners. Absolutely enjoyed. Amazing blueberry hot cakes as well as the amazing migas, their salsa is to die for."
"I've had Phoebe's bookmarked for years. As often as I'm in Austin, I just never had the opportunity to try it until recently. There's a moderate sized parking lot with complimentary valet. We were able to find a spot that wasn't reserved for valet. I was able to add my name to the waitlist on the Yelp app while we were driving there. When we arrived, we were seated immediately on the (dog friendly) patio.Justin was our server and he was really great and laid back. He was so busy with his tables, but he was cool, calm, and collected. He told us that he genuinely likes all of the food at Phoebe's and said that he can't say that for some of the other restaurants that he has previously worked at haha.Beverage:Iced Vietnamese Coffee - This was very good, but very strong. I couldn't drink it all during brunch so I ended up taking the rest to go.Food:BST Omelet - Bacon, spinach, tomato; it was very flavorful and the portion was large. I really liked the aioli, especially with the breakfast potatoes. There was a generous amount of spinach and the bacon was so delicious. Crab Cake Benny - My mom ordered this and liked it, but the eggs were over cooked. The yolk was not runny when she cut into them. She enjoyed the asparagus that accompanied it. I have to give a shout out to the random woman who told me about Phoebe's while we were waiting on our cars to be serviced at Firestone. It took me a few years to try it, but I'm happy that I finally did!"
"Blakes is a always pretty good, comfort food, good service nice staff. Definitely will be back."
"I love trying out new places and can't believe I haven't been here before. But glad we got to grab a quick brunch lunch. It's a cute little place. Kinda dark where we sat but it was comfty in the booth. The waitress was so nice and helpful. Not sure what I wanted but I was craving fries and saw Friday special was tempura chicken and that sounded good. Bad for you but good lol it's Friday! My friend heard their shrimp and grits was good so she got that. We had our lunch meeting and out came our food really quick and fresh. My goodness the fries. I loved my fries. One of the best I've had. Crispy on the outside and soft inside and very hot. Almost burned my mouth but they were seasoned so well and so good. I was full lol The tempura chicken sad to say was very greasy. Wanted to like it. Couple bites was good but no way can you eat all 4/5 fingers. Too oily. But I had to take it home to share because it wasn't bad just so rich and greasy. The fries already filled me up so I was content. And very full lol Her grits and shrimp she said was good. Ok. But $19 felt like a lot and mine was $15 only because it was a weekly special. So prices are kinda high but probably not for these days. Mine was good being it was a special. All in all enjoyed our lunch. Loved the atmosphere too. Easy parking in downtown easy Austin as well. Did not my fries and the dipping sauces my dishes came with. Would love to see how their other dishes are. Let me see your reviews as well :)"
"I live south and was up north to go to Lucky Nail Supply. There is a big Asian community in this area with a Chinatown plaza nearby that I plan to explore soon so I was hungry and looked for places near me. I went at 10am on Saturday morning and there was plenty parking and not crowded (but it was when I left so keep that in mind). The pics on Yelp are beautiful but I wanted something a little more Tex Mex and while I wasn't a fan of the tortilla chips and salsa the fresh squeezed OJ was delicious and the chilaquiles was so yummy. I got the Pete's taco because it looked so yummy and IT WAS!!!! The potato was seasoned so well and the eggs and sausage and peppers and cheese were scrambled soft had lots of flavor on a soft flour tortilla. It was a quick and delicious breakfast with all my favorite thing: parking, great food, my server was sooooo nice and very affordable."
"Phoebe's Diner is an excellent spot for brunch in Austin! There's new dishes I've never had and classic dishes with a little bit of a twist.I ended up getting the nitro-chata - it was good but it was a smaller portion than what I'd pay for at a coffee shop. I also ordered the burrata omelette and a side of biscuits with the sage gravy. My husband ordered the migas and a side of buttermilk pancakes. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach because we didn't even finish half our food before we were stuffed and took home the leftovers (no regrets at all though) Everything we ordered was delicious, my favorites being the burrata omelette and pancakes! The biscuits tasted even better the next day as it soaked up all the gravy. Even though the wait was ~45 minutes, it was really convenient to put our name on the wait-list so we only waited a few minutes when we got to the restaurant in person. I'd def recommend Phoebes Diner to anyone who wants to have a delicious, hearty brunch!"
"The food was excellent. The breakfast sandwich, blueberry pancake, sausage, biscuits, and hash browns ! Also, you have to love the "old diner" atmosphere ! My favorite breakfast place in the Georgetown area Thanks, Joe Gray"
"If you're looking for an authentic old school diner experience this is the spot! I really love their French toast and my fiancee got The California Omlette which came with really good grits!Servers are really nice and attentive! Also can't beat the price, you're not going to get hit with a crazy bill for a "diner experience" like at some other places, names I won't mention."
